About my work - I remove beaver dams when I receive an order from a state organization.
I do not choose which dam to remove. It is decided by officials at the request of nearby residents. Each dam is assessed in advance if it can and if should be dismantled.
Removing the dam is not a threat to beavers. I do not remove their houses - lodges.
Dams are removed only in places where beavers cause damage, for example by flooding nearby fields, flooding the basements of nearby houses, or when the stream on which beavers built their dam is degraded.
Even though beavers are very invasive animals, they are under strict protection in our country.
I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too.

Curious to know if they notify people down stream from these large beaver dams that there will be a large volume of water coming after they remove dam?
My question as well. Or check if there is another beaver dam downstream?
Shouldn’t the dam be broken gradually so the water doesn’t rush in that huge amount all at once?

Przydałby się kciuk hydrauliczny i generalnie większa koparka, która miałaby większy zasięg. Problem jest później z transportem takiej koparki, tym większy im większa koparka. Nie wszędzie też wjedziesz większym sprzętem.

When they to remove a dam ,means to take everything out and burn it ,but leaving it there for the beavers don't make sense .
I don’t think the beavers use the old wood. They eat the bark and cut new trees
It amazes me how many people dig Beaver dams out and let the stuff flow downstream to the next culvert to plug it up not very smart
Send it ,at least the sticks aren't laying on the side so the beaver can use them to rebuild the dam . Looks like he did a hell of a job !!
