- Me playing on Fiendish Freddie: Big Top O' Fun for the C64. I got this game originally on a cartridge with 3 other games that were: international soccer, Flimbos Quest and Klax.
This game is still great fun to play, especially with friends and family. - Hry
This and Flimbo top faves trying to dive into the tiny bucket and knife throwing were the best
Rhe only 2 games i had
Flimbos Quest was cool.
Do you have the cartridge console c64?
I had 4 games in one cartridge which had this, Flimbo’s quest, klax, football and maybe one more? But a great game was Navy Seals- the soundtrack on the commodore was epic.
I'm 37 now and used to play this ALL the time when I was about 9. Great memories!
Im 35, I'm gay but I had this game. I had this game before I was gay.
33 here, are we gettin old? So much memories... i love it
@@ramboghinibalboni1526 Bro, wtf has being gay got to do with anything?
Loved this back in the day. Im 31 now lol
Gibonz haha me too loved it
Me too. 38 now
Me too I'm 40 and by the age of your post your 36 now
Quality game 35 now and it still omakes me feel uneasy lol Such a great game though
And now you're 36, like me, also enjoyed it back then the games were hilarious
The number of joysticks I broke trying to fit into that bucket...man...
Loved this back in the day. I never saved the circus though. Tbf I hadn't a clue what i was supposed to be doing... I don't think this fella knows what he's supposed to be doing either...lol.
It's actually weird that this game was not ported to android, especially that controls would fit.
Same here :) You supposed to reach $10000 for all the tricks in order to save the circus. I tried once on emulator (saving after every successful attempt) but got frustrated with juggling stage and gave up. Maybe one day I'll save the circus...
The soundtrack's great too. I suppose its no wonder I got so mad into the techo scene in me twenties... I'm blaming Flimbo's quest and Fendish Freddies circus!
first game i ever played ;) brings a tear to my eye
Same here, Doesn't mean I'm gay tho
Same here :)
I have got c64 for my first Holly Communion when I was 8. Now Im 37 and love this feeling how memories are coming back.
I remember that cartridge - excellent compilation. Two great games (Flimbo and Freddie) with no extensive loading times.
Then there was the average Klax and International Soccer where Cameroon players looked terrifying and the CPU intelligence was a bit limited with many players anhst standing still on the sidelines staring at the crowd....
I had that cartridge!!
Marc Dearlove what else was on it? This, Flimbos Quest...was there anything else?
@@exert2020 Friendish Freddy, International Soccer, Flimbo's Quest, Klax
I had it as well
Me too, this, Flimbo’s Quest and International Soccer! And Klax!
OMG, and me, I'd used to visit my nan and granddad and play the 4in1 cartridge because that's the only game they had other than the newzealand story, but it was brilliant, the music now reminds me of those days, back in childhood !!
Brilliant !
Newzealand story was awesome!
Such memories. Im 32 now, and this is the first time ive seen this game in action since I had it when I was a kid.
GamerBully same
Same here. This was my first video game ever in life at age of 4, even now 30 years later I have very helpless and angry feelings on some moments :D
38 now. Had nostalgia for the 64gs. Found this video, seen I commented 6 years ago lol.
This game, flimbo's quest, navy seals and robocop 2.
I had that cartridge. I was 5. Wow nostalgia big time. Flimbos quest was legendary. Midnight resistance I can remember too what a game. Brilliant video 👌👍
OMG the music intro brought it all back!
The music in this game is as epic as the game it self. Legendary.
totally!!
The music in this game is ehh, well it's not epic. Let just call it Russian. Lets make it their national anthem and leave it at that.
used to have this cartridge. flimbo's quest was †he best game.
Fine sid music in this Commodore game happy content for carnaval positive impression and funny comedy situation.
Game of my childhood, remember playing this game, waiting for my father never backing home on time from work. Unfortunately not quite good time but I feel sentiment.
I had got those games with my C64 too. This game used to scare me as a kid when he would cut you in half on the tightrope!
yeah sadly my grandma just passed away on saturday and now when i watch videos like this it makes me feel more nostalgic. I just wish they would make these consols again for people like us. the c64 and the 4 in 1 cartridge will always be a classic
Oh my God this takes me back 😄❤️ I loved this game
I loved this game when I was young on my C64
Oh wow this brings back my youth, I got this game free with my first ever Commadore 64 after stepping up from a Spectrum ZX.... I loved the knife throwing. Oh happy simple days back then. Thanks for the video.
This game was so epic! I remember having it on Cartridge for the C128!!!
When we were kids playing this and when it said "here come the judges" we used to make fun of it by shouting "here come the fucking judges!" Yeah we weren't particularly clever, lol
did anyone ever play the terminator cartridge? that game was dope.
I loved this game!
probably needed that cartridge, since most I remember this game for were the horrendous loading times (on disc even); great to see it played here ;)
Another blast from the past!
The C64 with the cartridge was my first ever computer when I was like 5 / 6
Klax was cool, Flimbos quest was awesome and FF was probably my fave
Used to play this as a kid, along with flimbo. Some of the imagery used to freak me out a bit, like the small bucket lol
This game gave me nightmares as a kid, it's trippy as f.
Used to play the hell out of the Amiga version at my friends house. We were always in awe of the animation. I owned a C64 myself, but had moved on to the NES and SMS by the time this game came out in 1989. This version is almost as good as the Amiga port. The Animation is a bit slower for most parts, but the graphics are almost completely on par.
@tony24071982 Haha, me too! As soon as the theme tune started I was petrified.
I love this game and the music reminds me of good old times. used to go to my grandparents with my c64 and play on this game as well as flimbos quest on the 4 in 1 cartridge
Yeah i had the same cart as a kid, still got it and my C64.
this game = my childhood
Cuantas tardes de principios de los 90 jugando con mi commodore 64...
A little disappointed you didn't let it play the Death march when something went wrong, I always remembered that happening. Great memories came back though, thanks.
Ha! I have the Amiga version of this but I never knew until just now that there was a 64 version! Huh! I'll have to try to get myself a copy.
O my God... All those lost days to beat this game... Man, that was something today rarely ever reachable.
Klax,Flimbo's Quest,Riendish Freddie, Soccer.
I always scared this music ))
what did you do to scare it?
Haha, wow! I love this game, brings back so many great memories of my childhood. They certainly don't make games like these anymore.
No, they don't. Today's video games have much *better* graphics and sound quality! But these are still fun to play.
Heheh, thanks, Ray M. (whose name I couldn't +tag at the moment), for your +1!
Maxx Fordham! so better graphics and sound is all you need?
first game I had for the c64 that came on a cartridge
daithifleming, my comment has nothing to do with what's needed or wanted. So I'm not sure where you got your question.
I don't think I ever did save the circus.
I always used to show this to my friends. Kept my c64 for years just for this and Flimbo's Q. Weirdest game ever
i had the same cartdridge. flimbo's quest, fiendish freddy, klax, and some soccer :D i was in kindergarden back than, now i' 24 years old
Ah what a game this was. The only round I ever did really well on was the diving, diving into that little tea cup at the end was so funny! Was it even possible to save the circus from demolition? It's an uncompleteable game I think.
Apparently it had two endings, including one where the circus is saved.
The best videogame ever
Loved this game on the Commodore 64.
Haha, yeah same. The juggling and tightrope stages were evil! Never, ever did well in them! Although looking back it was probably the best game of the 4 on the cartridge. Maybe. Could have been Flimbo's. Or Klax.
Oh forget it, I can't decide!
It goes:
Flmbo's Quest
Klax
This
The football one
@@greatuncles8244 Maybe, although I definitely agree that International Soccer sucked. That's why I never mentioned it.
loved this, always beat my sisters lol
I had this on a multi cart which had flimbos quest and klax on
Love the part at 5.25 when one of the judges starts punching the other one in the head for no reason. Good message for the kids ha!
10:55 The dude get's cut in half
@@michaelfarrell4824 Yeah, violence in these old games, like Creatures, and ghost and skeletons were kinda scary. But what really scared me as a kid were the indestructible enemies. And time restrraints (because of which I never finished Flimbo's Quest).
@@draconpost Yeah I never completed Flimbo until I went back to replay it as an adult years later, tough game
i played this game as a kid xD
0:24 This is what the guy should say, "Ladies and gentlemen gather around to witness a legendary C64 game. Can this game be beaten? Enter the tent and find out for yourselves."
I remember juggling to be hard as hell.
First Game I ever played
Hey you're supposed to do those poses on the way down during the diving stage...
Exacly!!!!
I still remember it was Up for the Swan dive.
class
Flashback omg im.now 33 rember this when i was about 4
I think flimbo was the best, had great music, and i loved to shoot all those creatures:D Btw i did the tightrope quite well but the juggling, once i destroyed a joystick while trying to beat that scene. And the sentence "here come the judges" still makes me feel like i want to punch them in the face.
I thought i was the only one who praised Flimbo. Good to see im not alone
@@rwlynch3468 you are most definately the only one m8. Flimbo's Quest was one of the most fun games iv ever played! I never beat it. (I was always too scared of the Gryphon things in lvl 5 & 6...plus i was only really young 🤣) I'd love to fire it up again n play it one more time. I'd have to take the day off work obviously coz i remember it taking DAYS to set up a C64 haha!
N about this game, Freddy was an absolute C**t haha! This game was bloody impossible. My least fave one one the cartridge, yet i still loved it!!!
On that diving board over you're supposed to do 'shapes' and stuff on the way down too.
One of my favorite C64 games. In fact i prefer it to the Amiga version
Classics.
Ha I’ve still got the cartridge
I had the c64 disk version of this back when I was a kid and trust me that repeating music gets on your nerves as it loop plays during the loading thru-out the game.. otherwise I loved the game
This game frightened me big time as a young boy, and I still have no idea why it did!! 🙄🙄🙄
4:18 There's your hook that dragged you off the stage, Becky Lynch. Hope it brings back memories.
It does
@canimangel1 yep yep yep it was scary! and i remember just not liking the feel of the game, just seemed really cold...
hey uploader mcsleeve, i guess we had the same cartridge:D Did u ever beat Flimbos? At the ending u have his girlfireind pearly and lord dandruff having a brain transplant.. And Klax is soo awesome... God i miss my c64
could sit and play a c64 for hrs
@tony24071982 Same, I think I was mentally scared of Circus' and Clowns because of this game. It's just so surreal
That judge on the right is getting some proper abuse, I feel sorry for him :(
The one next to him has some serious beef
yeah same it was Creepy lol
This must be the circus game that Becky Lynch was talking about. She even mentioned the part where a guy would drag you off the stage with a shepherd's crook.
You're supposed to.mash the buttons and stick to shape into dives.
The cartridge was fantastic. But FFBToF annoyed me due to the wild random chance factor.
@PathologicGaming yep me too! Traumatised!
That music, the Russian military anthem. And their missiles will be about as accurate as that last act. Scary, 1 in 3 European cities a bit damaged.
I came here from becky lynch's superstar savepoint
Yup. Me too!
I came from that too. Remember how excited Becky was when she explains the "dragging off the stage with the hook" bit? "It was a hook, and he'd, like-- he'd pull you out."
Honestly, C64 had the best music of all of the ports, PC had the best graphics but had the worst music somehow.
I hated this game so much, the circus ended up demolished always.
Just bought my first C64, I am sick of the crap DLC, DRM, and casualization of games. That I fell in love with simpler old school gaming, my first game I bought myself is the 4 in 1 cart (I thought 4 games for my first cart means I would have more to play than just 1 game).
Becky Lynch's favorite game! lmao
2:17 diabeł zepchnął na złą droge.
no właśnie jak grałem w to za dzieciaka to sie zastanawiałem co to jest?:D
why clowns do always the same?
