She said in one of her interviews that when she saw the cover of the book, the lyrics of the song started to play in her mind. The name is actually difficult to be translated word by word in English. In the song, she describes how lonely she feels in the crowds, and no one can understand this feeling, basically it is because she has lots of pain in her heart. I always think that maybe you should know sebnem ferah’s biography and background to understand her lyrics. She lost her father in an earthquake in Turkey for example. The songs are so powerful in meaning, and this album was one of the best Turkish rock albums in Turkey.

In my humble opinion, Şebnem (Shebnem) is one of the best female rock singer of all time not only in Turkey but world wide. Her deep feelings and sincere lyrics make her authentic and adorable. To me, she is not well known outside the Turkey because of Turkish lyrics. You can discover that each of her songs has its own story behind the curtains and most of them are painful real parts of her life...

It's weird, in Turkish "tek başımayım" and "yalnızım" have usually different meanings but in English they both translate as "I'm alone" maybe it is not that weird but I never thought about this before so it is weird enough for me

She is one of the best rock singers in Turkey. Turkey has got lots of rock bands in 90’s or 00’s. Nowadays some of the bands started making metal songs and Turkey got really awesome voices. Soft or heavy or strong voices. But they arent knowing so much around the world. I will feel very glad if they are knowing in the other countries:)
It's true that she is our Goddess of the Rock. She is the one to compete with other male vocals who can sing brutal or strong vocals. By the way, the members of the group hasn't changed for a really long time. The solo guitarist, Metin Türkcan has his own band (Metoboy) and he has played for another strong rock band, Pentagram (aka Mezarkabul). Şebnem and aaaaaaaall of the other rock bands are in a very sweet relationship, she is singing for them, like backvocals or they are creating some good duets. Apocalyptica wanted to cover one of her songs, after they have listened her in a festival they've attended together . So, Şebnem's song "Perdeler" has been covered by Apocalyptica and took its place in her album. This album, Can Kırıkları (Fractures of Life) was some big news back that time, I remember that we were excitedly waiting for the day of releasing

Little bit of history for you. Sebnem Ferah was in a whole female rock group called Volvox. They used to play in rock bars etc, I'm ofcourse talking about over 20 years ago. When they split up Sebnem Ferah and Ozlem Tekin continued their carrier as singers.
I think the Song has a very shocking story, it was coming from a fan letter with so much drama in it.Sebnem ferah was so impressed by it and turned it to a song, so it is actually the artist coming one together with her fan.

I loved my time in Turkey and the music that is produced there. Sebnem is my all time favorite along with Toygar and Hande. I did get the chance to see Sebnem live in Adana and it was incredible.

In my humble opinion, Şebnem (Shebnem) is one of the best female rock singer of all time not only in Turkey but world wide. Her deep feelings and sincere lyrics make her authentic and adorable. To me, she is not well known outside the Turkey because of Turkish lyrics. You can discover that each of her songs has its own story behind the curtains and most of them are painful real parts of her life...

It's weird, in Turkish "tek başımayım" and "yalnızım" have usually different meanings but in English they both translate as "I'm alone" maybe it is not that weird but I never thought about this before so it is weird enough for me
