I have decided that I have enough material to make my Steampunk music compilation, this music is inspired by a fictional universe of mine known as The Clockwork Lands. These are musical pieces and ideas that I have been developing since 2016, if you listen carefully some musical motifs are in several pieces.
This mix is for those who enjoy listening to music non-stop, ideal for focusing, homework, inspiration, reading, or having some fun with D&D (dungeons and dragons) campaigns. This music is not totally Steampunk, it is orchestral music inspired by Steampunk and Fantasy worlds, mostly inspired by classical music by Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, and contemporary composers like John Williams, James Horner, Howard Shore, etc.
Clockwork Lands is a musical journey that began with ideas in the year 2015, and in 2016 I decided to start making them a reality, and so it was until this year I am proud to be able to share the second part of Symphony of the Clockwork Lands 2, which brings together many elements of the music I have made in this course of time
Some of my pieces appeared last year in the compilation of The Spirit of the Orchestral Music, which is also called "Clockwork Lands", due to the name of the Symphony I composed

@@LuisHumanoide Sweet thanks
I am 50 years old, with an epic long white beard and a shave head.
Serious steampunk freak (books, movies, songs).
This collection is one of the most epic videos I have ever heard.
Respect.
What's your favorite steampunk book?
Yes, what's a few good action themed steampunk books you like? There's too few of that genre to be found in the wild
I gotta ask the same question as well - i've only ever found a few worth reading myself, and even then they aren't 100% steampunk. The sequels to the Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson are pretty close, and there is Cinder Spires by Jim Butcher which is even closer, but other than that I am itching to find some good material. Please enlighten us!
@@joshuajustice7998 Boneshaker is a pretty good steampunk series. I like reading action, so I couldn't get through the first book. It reads like a mystery and intrigue type. But I'd recommend it to steampunk enjoyers
@@thefremddingeguy6058 First of all, if someones wants to have a research book on any kind of steampunk vibe, I recommend "QUANTUM STEAMPUNK: THE PHYSICS OF YESTERDAY'S TOMORROW by HALPERN YUNGER NICOLE. It is NOT a novel but as I wrote, a research book, dealing with the unification of Industrial Revolution/Steampunk with Thermodynamics and Quantum Mechanics. Now beyond that, I would also recommend BONESHAKER, but since I adore William Gibson, I would go for DIFFERENCE ENGINE. But no matter how cliche you might find it, I adored MORTAL ENGINES.
There are times when the CZcams algorithm is scary in its ability to determine what you want. But this is a good scary. I am loving this music!
I love how truly symphonic Clockwork Lands is. Its sweeping melodies are amazing.
I'm planning a steampunk-themed D&D campaign and this music puts my imagination into overdrive!
Happy to read this comment, have a good D&D campaign
I’m building a world for a D&D campaign too. One continent is going to be undergoing an industrial revolution varying between the different city states. This music has definitely helped with my creative ideas.
Same here! That's my first campaign as the master. What a perfect soundtrack!
@@nathandeoliveira9780 We are two with the same thing then xd
@@MudDragon723 I was thinking pseudo Latin Dragonborn empire with steampunk.
You sir are criminally underrated.
These are absolute joy to listen.
Beautiful to my ears!
Thanks a lot James
To mine too
I've loved symphonic music from my childhood back in the 50's. Now I have an alternative. I was reading The 57 Bus.
What an incredible achievement this is, Luis. You've created a soundtrack for a movie here, one Hollywood must use! Awesomely beautiful and majestic!
Thanks a lot Hal, hope one day this music sounds on a big screen, that would be magical
@@LuisHumanoide I think it will be one day :)
@@s.s5933 I think so too xx 🙏✨
No bro this is too good to be use in Hollywood
@@s.s5933 in i po.
When listening to this non stop for 1 hour, it feels like going on a journey in a steampunk world riding on an airship
Is this what people mean when they say "Hidden Gem?" Some of the best stuff I've heard.
I've loved Steampunk for many years without knowing that what I liked had a name. This is the very best. Many, many thanks. You've got a new admirer.
I like how wondrous and adventurous the music is.
For some reason I never listened to "A Ship in the Clouds" before. I was pleasantly suprised when I heard the main theme from "Symphony of the Clockwork Lands" :)
Thanks a lot Laurin, i had in my mind that theme since 2014-2015, and in 2018 i was able to develop it in Symphony of the Clockwork Lands 1
Nice job putting this together!
Thank you very much, it's an honor to read your comment :)
I put on this music while I was cleaning up and reorganizing my room, made it so much fun!! I felt like I was on an adventure- a little embarrassing, but I want you to know how much I appreciate these works!! Thank you!
This has been the soundtrack to a novel I'm writing. Thank you!!!
Stumbled across this today and I have rediscovered my love for steampunk and fairy tale like adventures. No regrets on clicking this.
You have no idea how much inspirational those songs are to me. I LOVE Steampunk, it's a fictional universe that most awake my curiosity and admiration. The clockworks, the steam, the rusty, the poetic yet technologic atmosphere full of secrets that is waiting to be discovered is just so wonderful and your songs captures this so well. I have a dream to write a book/series inside this universe theme
Thanks for listening, hope it brings you a good time
Ive been listening to this non stop for inspiration for my steampunk game concept
these pieces are so full of adventure. they even made studying german enjoyable
I don't believe you.
@@sycherthrou5922 well Im german so for me german lesson is like for you english lesson where you learn all the verbs adjectives n´stuff
My native language is portuguese and is boring as heck, for me these themes work for studying History!
You guys made me laugh. 🙂
I'm in the early stages of writing a steam punk type story and I always listen to music as it helps me to write. This music has really helped me with the writing. Thanks for this awesome play list. :)
the symphony of the clockwork lands literary followed me into my dreams last night! its such a good melody
I only discovered your music last week, but I wanted to say from the bottom of my heart, "thank you." This is some of the most inspiring, beautiful, and unique music I think that I have ever heard. It truly transports the listener to that other place.
Thanks for enjoying this music, these pieces are very special for me and I enjoyed every second of making it, glad that you enjoy what I did
@@LuisHumanoide I've tried on two different web browsers to purchase your album at Bandcamp, but it keeps giving me an error: "We encountered a temporary problem. Please try again." I would really, really like to purchase this album, as I just ten minutes ago thought to check if it was available in your description section, and it was.
Finally got Bandcamp to work. So excited to be able to download this.
(22:30) - Oh! I know that mountain! It’s K2, the second tallest mountain on Earth.
Always loved that picture of K2 from that angle. Nice work! 🏔
...the build up is stratospheric... what an incredible rich work... totally atmospheric... you never fail to deliver... this is incredible quality... love the changes in pace... you surely tell stories with your music ...excellent production and sound Maestro 🙏🌹
I'm building a big steampunk blimp/airship in Minecraft and this is perfect to listen to while building it :D
The soundtrack to my first novel! It's helping me with inspiration and motivation. Well done!
This reminds me of John Williams' work in the very best of ways!
Thanks a lot, John Williams is a strong inspiration
It's such a healing beautiful music.I'm going to listen to it when I sleep tonight.
The video is so beautiful.😊😊
Thanks a lot Wisey, I wish you had a good night with this music
If you have made this, this is beyond incredible. I thought I was listening to some Harry Potter level soundtrack. I'm blown away. If you aren't being paid in the industry right now shame on the industry.
Thanks a lot, I'm not working in the industry, i only made this as a hobby
Beautiful mix so far, amazing work :)
Amazing work!
2016-2020... that's a huge work but the final rendering of your project is majestic... it's your own world!
Congrats Luis :)
I'm happy to read this comment , thanks a lot Florent

This is absolutely glorious and is inspiring my writing.
Thank you for this wonderful collection, I love the reoccurring themes that weave a story throughout the entire body of work.
Gobsmacked by this...extraordinary. Thank you Luis Humanoide!!
This needs to be more popular. Love it!
This is my go-to playlist for when I'm working on my steampunk themed book! Thank you so much for these wonderful songs :)

Thank you for this fantastic piece of art!
Haunting fantasy vibe. Gorgeous!
I just subscribed. I really love this music. I'm listening to it right now as I come up with my own Steampunk/Renaissance/Fantasy campaign. It really helps. What threw met over here was actually another video by "The Spirit of Orchestral Music" called "Steampunk Music Compilation | CLOCKWORK LANDS | 1-Hour Mix".
Seriously, Luis, this stuff is great. My favorite is "Symphony of the Clockwork Lands".
You're so talented! This is awesome, dude.
Beautiful! Perfect! And all the songs are pretty new, so nothing which is overheard :) great job and thanks!
Wow, it's truly amazing, sounds extremely realistic and the compositions themselves are really good!
I really like the building of the theme at 23:00 it starts so simple and gets going so quickly; it’s a lot of fun 😊
Truly outstanding!
Hermosa recopilación tuya 👌🏻
I've been using some of these pieces to "visualise" through music some of the settings and characters in my homebrew D&D campaign since we started two months ago, and have fallen in love with just listening to them while prepping for my sessions.
You are a magnificent composer, and I really wish more people can discover your music so it can receive the attention it deserves
Really nice, honestly. Keep up the great work.
Incredible work. I'd love to see an animated world with this music. It's just amazing!
This music is inspirational! In addition to the influences you listed, I also hear some echoes of Danny Elfman and Nobuo Uematsu. Great work!
Wow! This is amazing! You’re pieces are so impactful and inspiring! I feel like I’ve stepped into a new world!
Woooo! One moooore for my playlist 👍
If I were directing a movie, I totally would hire you to compose the soundtrack, like holy hell this is good.
Symphony of the clockwork lands part 2, for me, is a true genius masterpiece. Congratulations!
Ah, thank you!! I’m glad you could treat us to a continuous flow of the invigorating music you have gifted us!
Dropping a comment -- thank you for sharing your creation with the world! This is the second time I've listened all the way through -- fantastic work!

thanks a lot for your comment, it makes me happy
ugh, this compilation is supreme
You too
Clock, music box. Clock work. Expression of drums, choir and sweet strings.
Wow! Okay, I've been listening to this for a while now and I just realized this wasn't from an actual show or movie! 😲👏 Well done! I could see it fitting a steampunk land. It's got my imagination going! Thank you for sharing your music with us!
This is amazing! You're incredibly talented - Hollywood really is missing out!
thanks a lot for your amazing comment
A truly imaginative and original talent. I really enjoyed your music and wish all the best for the future. Reminds me of classical composer Berlioz and hope to hear more from you. The film composer Michael Giacchino started out composing game music and went on to compose scores for blockbusters like Star Trek and Jurassic World. I hope some one notices your talent and gives you the chance to move on to bigger opportunities. Good luck Luis.
This is ... WOW, Unique music that i ever found. 🔥
A fantastic achievement Luis! Every section is a piece of art by itself. I'm glad we have composers like you who offer some distraction in tense times. Congratulations with this release ;-)
Thanks a lot Ed, happy to read your comment
Just want to say thanks for such a inredible collection! i could float, imagine my self on the war, fly on that balloons... thanks for this experience!

Really enjoyed it.
Luis, I found your work via Freesound and the sound FX you uploaded there. You had a unique interesting sound I wanted to see what else you've composed but this is far more spectacular than what I would have thought and expected! This is amazing and beautiful, I will definitely be using at my D&D table :-) Many thanks for composing and sharing this!

great music, just started to listen to it, it is really inspiring during my work day, it really helps me relax during stressful times.
it sounds so majestic and epic.
hope to hear more from you of this in the future.
Personally, I adore all music of yours, but the one that gathered my attention had to be 'The Great Port of The Air'. Absolutely brilliant. Keep it up.
So beautiful, my dear friend. I really enjoyed it. 😊
