  • This is my dedication to our fallen Brothers and Sisters from the Station Nightclub fire. I have been there for shows many times and I have a very heavy heart from this horrible incident. I will always remember. Thank you and God Bless.
    **Apologies to Charline Fick's family, in case you have viewed this, and following the alphabetical order of the names, thought that she wasn't mentioned. She was accidentally placed a few spots further out of order.

    I miss you Mom. Mary Baker. Not a day goes by where I don't think of you. I wish more than anything you were still here. It still pains me 10 years later knowing you're not here and knowing what happened there. This is a horrible nightmare I wish I could wake up from. I pray you'll be there waiting when it's my time. I love you so much &miss you more than anything.

I can't even fathom the thought of being trapped in a fire and accepting the fact that this is how ur going to die. Imagine what they were thinking. This is what I wud picture Hell to be like. I have watched some pretty disturbing things, but this really got to me. Watching the people bottlenecked, trapped in the doorway screaming for their lives, was heartbreaking. Especially the screaming man on fire trying to put his burning head out. This is a nightmare come true. So sorry for everyone's loss. 🙏

    As the daughter of a former Fire Chief/Fire Investigator, my Father always told me that such a tragedy as this, was one he long feared, during his 30 + year career. 3 years ago, I was visiting Rhode Island and felt compelled to make a journey over to the Memorial. It was a very sobering experience for me; even though I didn't know any one of the victims;I felt a deep connection because of who my Father was, and what I grew up learning about such a horrific event.May those who perished Rest in Peace 🕊️, and may precautions be taken so that such a tragic event does not repeat itself.

      I used to frequent a restaurant that had an entire wall of windows/doors that could be opened to extend the dining out to the sidewalk and kind of make the indoors merge with the outdoors. Like one entire side of the building could be opened up, eliminating that wall. It was beautiful and I was thinking a design like that could save lives in future builds. It seems like the station was built almost to purposely trap people in a maze with bottlenecked entrances and exits.

    So many, so young, so beautifu, or so handsome, people enjoying what we all have done at one point in our life, listen to our favorite bands! They all had so much more to experience in life, but because of just a few mistakes, or lack of knowledge, or lack of doing your job, 100 people can be taken from this world and from their families in a matter of less then 5 minutes! Anyone buying a nightclub, or place of entertainment should be made to sit and listen as watch the footage of this, and look everyone of those people's pictures to show you have so many lives in your hands, and if you don't be prepared for keeping people safe, this is what's going to be your legacy, the cause of all the lives it takes! I'm half way through a master's program in Fire Protection Engineering. This has become a major case study for those of us studying how to prevent this very thing. It's senseless for any of these people to have died much less 100 of them. Hopefully we will continue to learn and help prevent this from happening again.

My heart and prayers not only go out to all the families who had loved ones perish that night, but also to the survivors who will no doubt always have those horrific and nightmarish memories to live with. A very touching and heartfelt memorial video, which brings tears every time I watch it. To all the beautiful souls who perished that night, may you all R.I.P.

    That was a lot of lives taken in 6 minutes. Not to mention the permanent scaring, both physical and mental. I don't know if the fire marshall or inspectors were ever brought to justice, but they should have been -- they knew about the building's risk to fire, and they swept it under the carpet like free-loaders -- just sign the papers and go home to their families with a big paycheck. Well, now they can see what their lack of expertise, professionalism and down right laziness has done. Also the owner of that bar should have never over-packed the place, in which they did with reckless abandon. I wonder if that dumb-ass bouncer that wouldn't let people out the backstage emergency exit door lived ? He basically killed people too. When I heard about it on the news that time, I didn't realize that there was so much carnage, and I just have to give my condolences to all the families who lost someone, and most of all, the survivors whom have to live with permanent health problems and painful memories of that fateful night.

    • @dumbcat
      @dumbcat Před 2 lety +1

      i think this world might be a prison. more and more people are waking up to the realization that we might be living on a flat plane under a very high and impenetrable dome. the Bible says it is appointed us all once to die and after that the judgment. are we in a prison? is our death an execution? i don't know, but in this model terrible things like children getting cancer makes more 'sense'. if we are in a prison then we are under prison rules. bad things happen in prisons. even Jesus was humiliated and murdered here and He was the only son of God! but all of this does beg the question, if we are in a prison did we do something to be sent here? were we on the wrong side of a war in Heaven? i'm not sure but that would not surprise me. at the tower of babel all of humanity gathered together and it appears they were trying to break out (of the dome?) and bring war to Heaven. the Bible suggests that if God had not stopped them, they would have been successful. that's pretty incredible. really the only thing we can do in this life is to treat each other with kindness and get our lives right with God, because we will stand before God and Jesus at The Great White Throne Judgment, and it will be sooner than we think. this life is very short. over in the twinkling of an eye
