@@tennislover5763 When it was 2:1 for Paolini in the first set it looked like another surprise was coming up,but they played twice before and Swiatek won those matches easily giving up only 3 games in each match. Today was exactly the same 6:2 6:1 . I can't wait for Wimbledon and US Open.

Seems that the grass surface at Wimbledon isn't Iga's best surface because she hasn't mastered the techniques! It would be a first for a Polish player to win and she would make history! Looking forward to watching her!

Both are amazing players. Worthy of a finals encounter. Iga’s mental fortitude was on full display during her match against naomi ozaka. The best part about her game is she is always in position to strike the ball cleanly. She is rarely off balanced and she plays every point like it was match point. Her focus is her biggest weapon. Plus she does not grunt or shout like a screaming banshee.

I think that's because Swiatek hits the much harder ball along with sheer aggression it seems like Swiatek is the taller player. Swiatek's path is easily leading to be the best player there ever was.
I really liked Seles aggression too. I was so sad about what happened to her. And she was forced to quit. She is another one who was on trajectory to be the best. Stopped after 9 slams. I missed her.
Btw: Seles = the First, original Screamer ( loudmouth ) !
Although Jimi Conners had an annoying grunt, Seles produced 90 Decibel screams of questionable legality ( Can you say the Williams sisters noticed ).
Other notables: 2-hander both sides.
