My 2 cents on my experience with the WE apache SD so far, what has worked and what hasn’t! I’ve had a lot of questions on what I run hop up wise so here’s a follow up video for you all
Whenever I fully tightened suppersor on my WE Apache SD, I got double feeds. Simple way to prevent them is to never fully thighten suppersor, 1/4 to 1/2 turn less than maximum seems to work fine. Also, I wrapped 3-4 layers of electrical tape in middle of suppersor, right under front sight. It should help to keep it centered and thus a bit more accurate. My theory on why modify tan + H nub refuse to work in Apache is hopup arm - notch where nub goes is approx. 1mm more towards front than on most GBBRs. As a consequence, nub is not pushing bucking on it's hop patch, instead, it is pushing just in front of it.
Having just bought the apache, this is exactly what i was looking for. Brilliant videos. I'm going to 3d print some barrel spacers as the silverback ones seem hard to get hold of! I asked in the WE users group Facebook page and the official WE one about the end cap removal....tumbleweed time! Thanks again.
I recently got a WE MP5K PDW with the plan to stick a suppressor on the end so i could extend the barrel. I wacked in my old WE M16 barrel, covered it in silicone grease,filled the suppressor with expanding foam and screw the suppressor on. Once it had all dried and cured,after a bit of excess trimming the suppressor was snug and the inner barrel didn't jump around inside the suppressor. A poor mans barrel spacer as it were.
@@Cipher057 Turned out I just actually needed a heavier hammer. A clawhammer ended up working fine, the mallet I usually use for pins just didn't have enough weight.
I'm lost with my WE g3 wich seem to be the same internal. Nothing work on the original WE barrel... maple leaf decepticon 2021 = no hopup effect. Mr hop 2021 same... maple leaf diamond 80° nether. Only the original bucking work cause the nozzle push th bb on a tightbut lips that hold the bb and the hopup "pressing part" is a little bit far front than a ML rubber. it very unstable so impossible to use it as a DMR. I think a will try your configuration. Sorry about my english but thx
Hi all, My we apache shoots random as hell. Every shot wouldn't go straight seems like the hop up is too damn high, I'm new to the gun aswell as gbbs in general. Anyone have any idea to fix this?
WE hop ups are notoriously poor. My first SD6 had this issue. The only way to resolve it is new barrel, hop, and nub. WE's like maple leaf so Id recommend a crazy jet, a 50 degree rubber and omega nub
Its a GBBR, 99% of the noise is from the action. It wont make any difference it being a SD. Only times Suppressors work are on well built and shimmed AEG's, Sniper Rifles, and NBB builds

If you search G style Mk8. You will find them, but good luck finding them in stock!
You ever have issues getting the cross pin that holds the hop up and barrel back in? I cant seem to get mine back in all the way.
I used to put it back in so it was snug, not all the way

@@Airsoft_Nomad Its a few millimetres from the end. But the SRS barrel spaces stop the BB's striking the end cap

Gently prise the handguard outwards and then push it forwards
