    My 2004 Switchback , 2005 RMK motor , SLP Performance Edition , bored carbs , 1.2 mm over , to 41.2 , extra intake vents in the dash , gutted air box , had to cut the top hole bigger to fit the SLP intake kit , but ? Rich Daily , I watched all his videos , he raced , had a Dyno , one video he was saying ? At the drags , SkiDoo engineers were there , they both agreed , you make more Power . With velocity stacks , or what some would call Horns , vent tubes , but without proper tuning equipment , your wasting your time ! , unless they’ve been engineered properly

    Still watching your video but in regards to the air bubble in oil line, have you heard of venting your oil cap? I drilled some small holes in mine as a failsafe

      I've seen a few vent kits and heard of motor issues due to failed oil caps. I checked this one and while it does vent, it doesn't vent as much as I expected. I was debating putting a check valve/vent in the tank itself, the cap, or simply getting a new cap and trying to forget about it haha.

    Have you considered pulling the electric start and battery for weight savings? Does the muffler mod lose any weight?

    • @MunsonMotorsports
      @MunsonMotorsports  Před 9 měsíci

      I had originally planned to go the lightweight route too, but got caught up in geometry changes instead. It may still happen, but it's not at the top of the list anymore as this thing is already all of 65lbs lighter than my Boost Assault.
      Muffler mod maybe lost 2lbs at best, it's really just to get a litttlleee more sound out of it but not enough to be obnoxious or disturb land owners.

    Any solutions for the sparkplugs, insulators crack.

    • @MunsonMotorsports
      @MunsonMotorsports  Před 8 měsíci

      I can't say I've encountered that very often. Sometimes a split/cracked isolator is caused by the shockwaves from detonation/DET. A bad/failing plug wire can also cause it as well. How often have you been encountering that?
