USING TOYS to teach kids snowboarding tricks

- Our friend Duncan in Mammoth was so fun to ride with while we were there! He’s a top level instructor and it’s clear to see why when he know how to adjust his teachings for his audience.
He brought these little Army Snowboard figures to help explain to Cashy how to do tricks. The visual representation along with the fun of the toy seems to click pretty easy for Cashy. That and maybe a ball of snow in her mouth helped her stomp this trick first try!
Cashy’s progression while in Mammoth was testament as to why we went there for the month of May to ride. Their Mammoth Unbound parks are so friendly for young riders to get started in the park and progress their skills as well as older advanced riders to push their limits as far as they want. Thanks Mammoth Mountain for such an amazing time!

Amazing how fast she catches on/learns and just does it. What a great way to learn. I know it is easier for me to learn visually, especially new things. She is a joy to watch! 💕
Kids learn fast. But i think she's training every day and spends hours in sports. Rola-bola, skateboard, snowboard is just what WE see in a short video. But it's more. She's not getting m&m's to be better 😊.
I'm just sad that wintersports got so expensive that most people can't afford it (where i live). Even i couldn't do it, if i would not work as an instructor.

@@Venomblox1.0all depends on the environment. If it's an unfamiliar spot I wouldn't but of you know it's safe practically untouched snow than why not. Doesn't have the same amount of h20 as water and doesn't hydrate you as much either but its a nice snack lol.
@@Just._.Adriii I would honestly never eat snow at a ski resort lol. So many boards and skis have ridden over it, and it keeps getting groomed over and over again. Plus, if its not natural snow, its just frozen lake water which doesn't sound too good to me.

I’ve never touch snow or went to any side of the world that has snow in my 25 years of living which is until now, August of 2023. I was attracted closely to the snow on the ground when the Dad is showing the army figure to Cash. Thanks to your family adventure videos, I get to at least feel virtually what it’s like to snowboarding 😊. Stay safe always 🤍

im sorry, but no is worried about something so silly. ive never met a single person who was had a problem with eating snow . the chances of having a issue like you said is slim to none. im sure this healthy young girl is more than capable to eat a little snow every now and then with no issue
I’m Canadian, born and raised. I have never in my life known anyone to get sick from eating snow, and everyone I’ve ever known has eaten snow. We pour maple syrup on it and eat it, it’s delicious. Snow is life, if you were correct we’d all be dead, shhh.
The only way for you to contract parasites from snow would be from animal urine and you would be able to see if the snow is clean or not. Don't repeat everything your parents taught you without questioning it once.

@@Blubableful srsly if the snow is not to dirty (literrally shit or urine or dirt) it actually somewhat healthy. Sterile inviroments will fuck with your immunesystem. People that live on farms and breathe in the dust there will develope less allergies.

Snow is frozen rainwater. It’s as safe as any unfiltered water, like spring water. There’s nothing in it that we don’t already either drink or breathe. As long as it’s pure white, it’s safe enough.

So awesome that kids giving me the confidence to try snowboarding always wanted to just turned 41 this year and I think I’m ready as long as I can get rid of my sciatic pain which is very important because I’m having trouble walking comfortably get pain. Every time I twist wrong or bend my knees too much but I wanted to learn to snowboard so bad for so long.
