  • 🎸 Gator Titan Review: Discover why it might just be the ultimate bass case for touring musicians! 🚌💼
**Updated Note: I truly wanted to be diplomatic in this video but it isn't easy. The service that I'd hoped to get from Gruv Gear leaves a lot to be desired.
Let's be clear. I've been using and endorsing Gruv Gear since day one when they came out with the fret wraps. My carts are some of the best gear ever, and I highly recommend the AMG500 (amzn.to/3Qdz1RB). However. I cannot at all recommend the Kapsule until they work out the fatal flaw of the zipper (of all things). The long story that I tried to make as short as possible is here. Had I got on a flight with it in this condition by extra stuff would be fine. My bass would be destroyed. The case is useless after only two years and only domestic travel.
    Gator Titan (amzn.to/4bbhEJk) aprox $419
    Gruv Gear Kapsule approx $399

    Gator
🔹 **Build Quality**: The Gator Titan boasts a molded design for jazz and Precision style basses, offering unmatched protection and a snug fit for your instrument.
🔹 **Durability**: Robust TSA-approved locks and no zippers in sight, this case is designed to handle the rigors of travel.
🔹 **Extra Features**: Wheels for easy transport and additional compartments make it a practical choice for musicians on the go.
    Why I made the switch:
    - The Groove Gear Kapsule served me well but faced a crucial issue with its zippers. 🚫
    - After a zipper malfunction, it was clear I needed something more reliable for my international travel. 🌍✈️
🎸 **My Favourite Gear**: The Gator Titan has now become my go-to case, providing peace of mind whether I'm flying across continents.

Brah you are a blue collar working musician. Your experiences/gripes are valid; no apologies necessary. Have a safe trip my brotha, looking forward to word of your adventures in bass playing. God Bless you bro.

Gator makes a nice case. Zippers need occasional lubrication and always need to be pulled straight. My Mono gig bag had rotted all over the edging in only one year and Mono has no USA customer phone line to call and emailing them never got assistance to warranty it.

Yeah man that sucks. I was with mono before they got bought out. Everything changed. I'm even in their ads for the stealth bag. I've been endorsing Gruv Gear since day one so was pretty sahocked by the lack of service that I recieved.

Great info thanks you! BTW your house might be haunted, the door slowly opened behind you at 1:11, I watched it several times, kinda creepy 🤣😂

Wondering why you paid next day air instead of checking it at the airport? How expensive was it to do and to what country? And what company that you used.
I am traveling to Italy in September and hearing so many horror stories about the airlines and guitars! I was thinking about buying an extra seat for mine?
    Thanks

I paid next day so that I could RECEIVE the case in time to fly to Thailand. Don’t buy an extra seat. That is problematic. But the Gator Titan (I get no kickback) I stuck an AirTag in there and travelled WORRY FREE. Gruv gear can kick rocks. Whatever you do don’t buy THAT. It’s trash.
