Saw this for the first time in my hometown accompanied by our hometown orchestra. It was wonderful to see. I forget whether our conductor was German or Russian. Either way I truly enjoyed it. I have a CD and start listening to it around Thanksgiving. Sometimes sooner! It’s one performance that outshines them all!
