This has been a long time in the making but here it is! After a CZcams hiatus I'm posting some more adventures I've been on. This is Katrina's, "Platypus", first long, multi day trip and completely her planning. She chose her trail and said, "Let's do it!" This 50 mile loop features some of the prettiest lakes in the Yosemite backcountry; Smedberg and Benson and Peeler! More to edit, more to come.

Wow! After all these years you are back. And you look very happy. When I saw Landmark Adventures I just about spit my coffee out. I still visit your old hiking videos. My favorite is still the one where you try to use the catapult. You could have tried that in this video with the "Letter P" tree. LOL. I hope you have found what you were looking for. By the way, having moved to Northern Nevada, Bridgeport is now my back yard. I love camping, hiking and fishing there.

@LandmarkAdventures I totally understand the post trail depression. I get it just from watching your videos! I just rewatched the Benson loop and about cried halfway through.. I hope you are both adventuring together still! 💞 I haven't gone out in a year or so .. but I really miss the wilderness.

So happy to see you post your hiking videos again. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend hiking the Sawtooth Trail between Lake Louise and Banff, Canada. My son and I had to get off trail after a few days (due to lack of vacation days) where the Five Pots are. Magnificent!!

Great to see you're still getting out there, and that you are a happy camper. I watched your JMT videos before hiking it in 2017. I did the same hike in early September 2020 - Crown, end of Matterhorn Canyon, Benson, and out, skipping by Peeler. Also clockwise. Hated that stretch down from Benson Pass too. There was a fire to the north, so I hiked all the way out from Benson Lake my last day - long day. Surprised you didn't highlight Kerrick Meadow, which was so unexpected and just blew me away. I've specked out a another circuit with different camping spots for next time, including Arndt Lake. Overall, just a beautiful area.

Love it and loved seeing Katrina get some talk time. I didn't mean to ignore her presence when I ran into you two in Safeway, I was just SO excited to see you. I had been waiting for that chance meeting and it actually happened. Lol That trail looked beautiful. In 2019 I was in Bishop too doing the Southlake to Northlake loop. It was a big snow year. I think I'll do this one soon. I'm doing Rae Lakes loop this year. Are you going to vlog your PCT this year? See you again sometime I hope. Stay safe. ❤
