  • For those of you who do not know, Elite Toas... Elite Tuo wheel on smart trainer is more than a just piece of modern art. Small form factor, smart trainer, great riding and performs well. Smart trainer has certainly elevated my Zwift riding experience!

I believe you should do the re-adjustment of the roller after (1) pumping tyres to specified pressure (2) 10 minute warmup but BEFORE (3) the calibration. The reason is that the resistance will have some dependence on the roller adjustment. Also, there is good agreement it is best to ignore the abysmal setup manual and use videos from Elite and others!

    Hello.
I intend to use an e-bike on the roller, and use the assists when necessary, according to the ROUVY app routes I use.
I have a smart Saris H3 roller, which needs the rear wheel removed, and I have put my e-bike on it, however the e-bike motor does not work properly, and it does not obey the e-bike assist modes as I try to change it, in addition to the e-bike mileage and speedometer are reset.
I'm looking for a trainer that's as smart as the H3, which captures and transmits speed, power, cadence via bluetooth on the Apple TV, but which makes it possible to use the e-bike's assistance as if you were riding down the street, but using the ROUVY app.
Does this roll meet my need? Or do you recommend any others?
    Note: I use an e-bike trek Powerfly 4 wheel 29” axle 12 boost 148

The max level effort was not just noisy, but it looked very unstable for 754w (as per zwift)... do you think personally it is suitable for home training?

Despite how it looks, the max effort felt stable. We believe if the entire Elite Tuo is on the floor mat, the stability will greatly improve. That was our mistake for not getting the floor mat on all Elite Tuo's contact points.

@@WiserBiker ahhh that's a good point. Are there any max watts warnings for this particular trainer? When u compare this with a direct drive trainer, which do u prefer (cost aside)

@@Twodaaeunfortunately our absolute max effort is 803watts, no way for us to test if there is any warning 😅
Space availability (dedicated pain cave), number of bikes (1 for outdoor, 1 for indoor), higher budget = direct drive driver all day for us :)
If you have only 1 bike, then all boils down to personal preference. Some may find it a chore to remove rear wheel, mount to the trainer. 2 days later you want to go for outdoor ride which will require you to remove your bike from trainer then reinstall your rear wheel
