How to remove a boat steering wheel / helm

Boat steering wheels (helms) can be very difficult to get off without the right tools. I used a puller to get the wheel of a hydraulic helm which is quite an easy and safe way to do it. I don’t recommend the hammer method because it could damage the hydraulic helm. Hope it helps.
