Hello, I am new to your channel, but I liked the way you explain things and how you break it into "Focus on this at the beginning" and then the next steps. I happened to start serving like this, as I was trying a shovel serve and then decided to give it some sidespin (so under-side spin), ending up doing something very similar to your hook serve. Just wanted to add something to what you said about the "secret serve that you develop in your basement". I have a table tennis table in my house and I practice serves there, and sometimes I've come up with a serve or I think that some of my serves are great, only to discover that they are easy to return. Another thing is that when you practice a service with no opponent, you don't get to know where the ball tends to be returned, and therefore you can't prepare for a third ball attack. Serve and 3rd ball attack are crucial and even when you can learn great serves, they might not necessarily be good for your gamestyle or your footwork.
Your serve videos are really informative but I wish that you had some different camera angles. It is really hard to see the serve motion from just the back. In particular, I'd like to see more camera angles for the topspin hook serve.

You need some better camera angles, perhaps even two cameras
When you do the topspin version is the racket face slightly open or completely vertical? It is hard to tell from the camera angle.
very slightly open. However, for more variations, you should develop the ability to do both :)
How is it different from kicker serve?
Topspin
Hook serve could use better power from the body in order to make the ball faster & lower to limit opponent Chiquita easily.
kicker is always topspin (usually very straight topspin) and can be different serves including backhand kicker, pendulum kicker, etc...
