    I’ve used this exact set for years. I just had to buy a new set this year after almost 5 years of having the others. Great screwdriver set for any industrial electrician, engineer, or just maintenance personnel that messes with electricity every once In a while.

      are those magnetic tips?

    • @ZackLeath

      @@jimmymarroquin1992 nah mine aren’t. I have the bigger set that comes with various cabinet keys, 2 handles, and pozidrive, Phillips, flathead, and Robertson. They can be magnetized though it just doesn’t last that long since there’s not much metal

      @@jimmymarroquin1992 well “less metal” than a traditional screwdriver

    Having this set for almost 5 years, replaced only couple flat heads - one of the best tool kit I’ve ever had!

    I use the slim version for over a year and it's definitely one of the best thing which ever fell out of Wera factory. The adaptors takes a bit more space then the Wiha version, but the holding system is simply superior in every way.

    I love the wera screwdrivers. I bought the wera w1 set last year, its amazing. Been using it on a daily basis. Only the 3mm had to be replaced because the insulation was damaged thru use.

    thanks for this review! I recently had a tech fly in from Germany to work on a machine at my company and he had a similar set of tools that I liked, but they were Würth brand and not available in the US

    • @magicmarger
      @magicmarger Před 5 lety +2

      Those where probably Wiha, Wera or Felo. Würth just rebrands them.

    I recently bought the 14pc set as I was in need of insulated screwdrivers, but didn't want to lug around a complete set of regular ones. It is still in the mail, but hopefully it will be as good as I hope it is (I'm sure it is good quality, I'm just curious whether it will feel good in my hand).

    Are those shafts1/4 inch on the end portion or is it bigger than 1/4 inch? If they are 1/4 inch I was considering buying them for my ratchet screwdriver.

    Does Wera have any multi bit set/driver that includes 1/4 and 5/16 nut driver?

    • @GermanToolReviews
      @GermanToolReviews  Před 5 lety

      No, not that I know of. The only nut drivers they sell are standard non-removalable ones.

    Too bad they don’t have insulated nut drivers in replaceable tips.

    2:40 for me these 4 are a no go and the low quality also makes it ridiculous
    Also prefer always in an industry the metal ones because even metal break sometimes on rly old locks because they are so jammed

    extremely pricey for something that wear out fast, especially the smaller straight bit. Not to mention that the small ones have bad tip plasric coating

  • @mrpanda2655
    @mrpanda2655 Před 5 lety

    Wow, it's on sale for 80 bucks but I do think its a little pricey, for free if you have the stuff on hand you could just wrap the shank in electrical tape for stuff like 15 and 20 amp
