    Hey Mr. Mac,
Thanks for this informative video, as well as your other one about which key to get first. I now have a much better idea of what Dizi to get.
I am a saxophone player that also doubles on clarinet, flute and piccolo, but I decided recently to expand my knowledge to the Dizi as I've also played a tiny bit of Irish flute before. Funny I should come across a Cantonese speaker introducing this to me, as my parents were from Hong Kong!
    Best regards,
    Marcus

I just went for the fate to decide for me, and didn't look up the keys of dizi, I wanted to buy, so I ended up with F key Dizi, and it's exactly what I wanted, truly wonderful sound 😁

I had to order from ebay - no one sells them where I live. I got one that is not cracked or damaged. a 2 piece one. It's okay for a first one but I bet if I spent more money I would get one that is actually easier to play because it's made better.

Brand/Artist? As said here, buying online is risky, but sometime we do not have other choice, i.e. due to distance. So is there anyway or any shop or any brand/artist anyone could recommend that we can trust for quality (independent of price)? Thanks!

    • @ComradeAlpharius

Pick a cheap one for beginners actually a very good choice, many people just play it for 3 days and found they can't even make a sound out of it then they just went back to video games......
