Ben 🤙
wow that 10 fade at 14:53 was sick!
Haha yeah was sick how it turned out hey!!! Hahah 🤙🤙
Really good discussion, more than one board is needed, even in longboarding, this looks like a great model.
In my opinion proof lyes in the bells WSL longboard last year when it was head high waves some people stuck to logs and didn’t look like top level surfers by any means.
Agreed! Always need a quiver and right board for the occassion! 🙏🤙
The new board & Noosa fit you well!
This armchair expert reckons you should just free surf like that in the contest & you’ll smash it out of the park! 🤙🏼
Hahah I’m loving it here and the board - thanks so much! Contest starts tomorrow for me - can’t wait!! Yewww 🤙🤙🙏
Hi Ben, Great review and appreciate the insights into board progression.
Know that you have heaps of support from so many people for your next steps moving forward. Stay strong 💪 🤙
Thanks Peter! Having an epic time on this thing haha, I really really appreciate that - great seeing you recently at the Island too!! You doing round 2 at Poss? Yewww!!!
Love your surf, love your energy! Good one sir.
Thanks so much!! Really appreciate it 🙏🙏🤙
Amazing surfing! Man, I love that wave. Good luck on your year, can't wait to see you come back with a vengeance.
Haha thanks so much!!! Yewww 🙏🙏🤙
Hey Ben, great vid mate 🤙🏽 great Model & loads of design work gone into this board. So good to see you ripping on it 🤙🏽 I got a Oz Noserider of the boys & love it down in the bottom of NZ. Got the wifey a Slasher so she getting back into the slide now & she been loving your Vids for inspiration 🤙🏽💯 thanks again mate
Bon
Excellent analysis, Ben!
Appreciate it John, yewww!!
Nice edits and nice board review… but what the beeb was that at the 14:30ish mark? Sitting down to a quick hang ten… is that even legal🤣🤣🤙
Awesome waves buddy! Yew!
Hahah 😂 it kind of worked, havin a bit of fun out there haha - thanks so much!! 🙏🤙🤙
Good luck 🍀 in Noosa ❤
Cheers John! We’re scoring waves that’s for sure haha 🤙🤙🙏
Awesome Ben , what length is this one you have up here at Noosa ?
Cheers Dave!!! Yeah this one is a 9'6 , yewww!!!
Ben, quite small here but my slasher lp with the convave n flip in tail really calling for some paddle--in adjustments; much more difficult to catch waves then my 98" flat bottom Kai Sallas. Any tips?😊
@benConsidine what are the dimensions of the board in this review video…interested to know which of the options you went with and if you tried any others?
Looks like my dream log
So fun 🤙🤙🙏
I rode one in SoCal and was blown away how epic it was.. full blown shredder of a log
@@co8539 hahah agreed 100% !!!
Hello Ben, have you tried different material/construction on this model? Appreciate if you could elaborate a bit on that.
Hey!!! Haven’t personally tried the different materials but I know they’re developing it under Thunderbolt technologies as well - which from riding other models allows you to keep a similar volume/feel but a lot lighter and more responsive - but again have not tried this for this model - would love to though!! Haha 🤙🤙🙏
Is this a board that a beginner/intermediate surfer could progress and grow into?
I would be interested to know how heavy the low pro is glassed?....and its approx. weight? cheers
Hey! Umm I’ll need to get back to you on how heavy this one is glassed I’m not sure - not light though - this one is 9.2kg without a fin - the back hip and curve makes it so you don’t have to push too hard though I find 🤙🤙
Hey Ben, would you say the 9'6 version board is decent for when the waves are smaller and mushy? I weigh 170lbs, 6'1.
I definitely think it will be an okay board for smaller/mushy waves, won't lose a lot of speed with the flat outline - depending on where you're at with your surfing though if they're the waves you're surfin most often it may be better to go with an outline where wide point is closer to middle and a little more rocker throughout - very much depends on what you're looking to get out of the board though! Haha sorry i hope that kind of helps
@@BenConsidine of course! Waves are usually beach breaks, 1-3ft, pretty gutless...
Hey ben, where can we get one of these here in aus?
thanks
Hey! They're sold at South Coast Surfboard by Ian Chisholm, so I'd contact southcoast or chissa via instagram and they'll get back to you! :)
👌😎
Yewww!! 🤙🤙🤙
What's your height and weight? Which length size board did you ride in the video?
Hey! I’m 5’10 and 74kg - board is a 9’6! 🤙🤙🤙
Is this a Thunderbolt board or traditional poly one?
Hey!! This one is poly! Haven’t tried the thunderbolt yet!! 🤙
@@BenConsidine what size / dims?
