You sharing your shop only helped your business what a kind lady you are. Some people dont tell the truth and sell courses. I saw your shop and was very impressed and then I bought one of your courses. You are a great teacher baily.
I find it funny the way many big POD channels refuse to share their shop, while at the same time making endless videos pointing out other bestselling shops and how we should copy them. Sick of the 'this shop makes 40k a month!!!' videos they make, sick of them giving out misleading, wrong or even illegal advice... then they delete your comment when you call them out. 😂😒
That said, does anyone have actual figures on conversion rate dropping with a YT shop reveal? Etsys article on conversion specifically mentions traffic coming from search, so im still not 100% convinced tje conversion rate is from any other traffic aside from etsy search results.

I'm going to attempt this somewhat soon with a Digital/POD shop combo (2 separate shops, one with digital and the other with POD products). This inspired me to get my challege started sooner rather than later. 🙏

Great vid Bailey 👌. A great example is North Prints. Many CZcamsrs have spoken about this store but that hasn't slowed down their sales.

As mentioned in many other videos, this shop now functions as my 'top of funnel', meaning my only goal is to get them to my own site/membership at a later time once they opt-in because the 1000s of customers who have a membership with me create the same reoccurring monthly/yearly revenue away from Etsy fees, competition, copycats, ad budget, etc. Since 'revealing' the shop here on YT, I have not run ads and barely maintain it as I design primarily for my own membership these days. This Etsy shop purely drives traffic to an external site. But you would know this if you've been following along. :)
As also mentioned in this video these are revenue stats comparing 2022 to 2023, still showing an increase, though you're welcome to validate that on something Alura if you need to. This year will be a completely different story as well since once again, not in my top 3 of online business focus. :)
I do really find it funny that most people think this shop is my primary source of revenue when in reality it is in 6th place of the 6 business I actively operate. :) The fact that it made any money in the latter half of 2023 is surprising and shocking that it was still higher than 2022, but it's organic and almost passive, so I'll take it.
@@digitallypurposedbailey well, it could be the 6th place of your business but you are actually talking about your Etsy shop in this video. So yes, I was referring to your stats for that Etsy shop. Of course that I and others check Etsy stats. To be fair, that's even your advice in some of the videos. And the truth is that at this time your shop is not doing nearly as before. Your sales did go down a lot. That's just how it is. A lot of competition, it's different than years before. And as I said before, I'm referring only to your Etsy shop as for other businesses I don't know about.

@@smichalskidesigns It's the freaking facts..no one is hating..I wish people simply tell the truth ...I have had Etsy for 5 years now..., and sales have WAY gone down the last and this year! But she can t say that...how is she gonna get them in her memberships etc,...I mean, open your eyes to reality
