    Thank you so much for this. Gosh, I have tried so many things like you did. I had Shopify stores, sold a bunch of stuff on Amazon, eBay, etc. I have had blogs and Facebook groups. And nothing really stuck. But this time it all seems to be falling into place. All my successes and failures are now paying off. I now have a chance to use my own art in a way that isn't a hassle to sell. My art sells, but the cost of printing and shipping has made it increasingly difficult to make a profit. There is only so much a person is willing to pay for a printed canvas or pillow. Sometimes I would ask myself, "Are you afraid of failure, or are you afraid of success?" You are such an inspiration. Thank you for generously sharing your knowledge.

    Hi Bailey, thank you for another great video. I’ve actually been wondering how I could outsource some tasks SAFELY, without jeopardizing my shop, my personal info, my designs, etc. Like how do your VA’s do the listing and mockup work for you? Do you give them access to your shop? Or is there some other way they accomplish it for you? I think this would be a great subject to delve further into, in another video. Especially if it’s too complicated to explain in a response here. I would greatly appreciate it either way. 😁❤️
    I finally started my shop at the beginning of the year. No sales or even views so far, but I haven’t been expecting any because I have done any advertising on Etsy or anywhere else yet. I struggled to just get started, but now I am struggling on what products to focus on (I have a wide variety of interests, I want to do TOO many things, but there is only one me and only so many hours in a day) and I also tend to spend too much time designing things and put off listing because it’s my least favorite part. I can take forever just to decide on what product to design for, and then take forever deciding on fonts and color schemes, etc. And spend a lot of time tweaking this and that, before I know it…HOURS have passed and I haven’t gotten nearly as much done as I feel like I should have.😕 Any advice for these struggles?

      Hi! You're welcome! :) So we use Vela ( bit.ly/VelaB ), that way the VAs are not longing into your shop which can sometimes be an issue and since they have to just log into the app, it solves this and shop access. With Vela you can bulk add/edit/publish anything so it really is helpful!
      I know what you mean about the focusing, and I found that if I just give myself a certain amount of time for each task and that's is it, I'm usually way more productive.
      So for example, I'll design for 1 hour and then just have a hard stop and move to my next task. :)

      You're welcome! I did not because I did not use paid ads to get to $15-20K months the first 5 months and have also not used them for the past few months now. I still do not believe they are absolutely necessary or recommended for those just starting out and way prefer organic external marketing :)

    Hello Bailey, I sell digital coloring books on Etsy. Can I add clipart, tumbler wraps, and other POD products? Such as Tshirt, mugs, wal arts all in one store?

    • @digitallypurposedbailey
      @digitallypurposedbailey  Před 5 měsíci

      Hi there, You could, but it would just be considered a general store and are usually harder to scale since you'll need to constantly be adding new products/designs so it will turn into more of a volume game. With niche shops, you'll usually have returning customers, less products to create and be able to focus on creating products with a specific designs tyle.

    Hi Bailey, I have a digital shop selling tumbler wraps with a total of 32 sales today. I am stuck and don't know what to do as I have sold over $100 in revenue but no profit. All of my profit has gone to Etsy Ads which gives me traffic and sales. When I turn the ads off the sales go away too. I have turned the ads off and hardly get any visits. Would it be possible for you to take a look at my shop and give some advice on what to do. I raised my prices but still doesn't help the situation.

      Hi there! It sounds like your average order value isn't high enough to cover the ad spend. The only reason a low profit margin digital shop usually does well with ads is if they have a higher aver order value which is what mine typically has. this just comes from related products and volume of listing especially with tumbler wraps. I include private shop audits within my membership if ever interested. :)

      They don't allow it through automations. There are still 10+ other ways to build an email list with your buyers (as long as they still opt-in) which is how I built mine before ever using Everbee up until the end of October, so just back to those routes .:)

(Unfortunately I cannot afford the full course). Debs x

      I would highly recommend reaching out for a shop audit as it is included in the community membership if that is what you purchased. It's hard to give a specific answer on why the shop is not performing as well as you'd like without a lot of background info on it.
