- The Singing Flute- A unique Jugalbandi of Carnatic Vocals with Hindustani Flute.
India is a country having rich tradition of variety of folk styles. In this track, we chose folk pieces from Bengal,Tamil Nadu, Eastern India, Andra Pradesh and Gujarat. These different styles were tried to indulge smoothly, considering their style of rendering and rhythm patterns. In totality, it gives the joy of colorful country music of India.

Sunil Avachat-The Flutist is a senior disciple of Pt.Aravind Gajendragadkar and Pt. Harirasad Chaurasia has traveled extensively all over the world for solo concerts and as an accompanist with Panditji.
Nandini Rao Gujar- The vocalist is a disciple of the popular duo Ranjani Gayatri,Chennai and Prof| Nagamani Srinath, Bangalore. She has given innumerable concerts all over India and abroad and is a Television Artist and a Teacher.

After listening this song, i forgot myself & i do not know who iam but finally found a good listner & viwer. Please make me live with yr songs. I invariably listen to one of Nandini rao gujar's songs before going to sleep. Otherwise I can't sleep well. She has become my favorite Carnatic music singer. Really blessed by God. What an Alabana? How many twists & turns, high, low in her voice? Unmatched singer in one word.

Aruana Sairam is very famous singing this "Maadu meikum Kanne" songs - she is a Tamilian pronunciation is very clear and crisp! Nandini Rao though she is Kannadiga still she is singing this song very well!
