Kudos to you for taking the leap and doing it! Love the down to earth real footage of things like your bag and you testing those cams on here. As an A &P With IA rating when I tell people I'm in aviation the first question I get is "So your a pilot?" Ha! and you get to answer that question yes but I say "No mamm, I keep the pilot in the air or piss them off when I don't fix something that's not on the MEL. :-). Love the vids man. Good Challenge. I watch all the guys in your recent comments including yourself on or about daily. I just think its awesome to have such a cool core group of guys to hang and fly with. I am kind of solo out here in the Baltimore MD area. A lot of cool places to fly but would be so much more real having other pilots pushing you to just go for it on the next power loop. I had no idea you were an FO, instant sub. I am in college right now in an aerospace program trying to basically do the same thing you are. Just bought my first quad for Christmas, and got accepted for my Private Pilot training with my school(whether or not I'll end up doing that training with that school is still up in the air because the FAA has kept my medical deferred for the past 11 months, but that's neither here nor there). In any case keep doing what you are doing, and keep having fun. Cheers!

I have that 200mw version on a whoop and it's definitely more power hungry. It knocked a little more than 35 seconds off flight time and it seems like I have a more multipathing issues with the higher power.
Best "vlog" type video yet, your flying alone is enough to keep me coming back but you are a chill dude who is fun to listen to. Have you seen the 25/200 switchable cams? I may try one of those once i trash my current 25mw. Keep it up!

You and the rotor riot guys should go do the 1 hour flight lesson in helicopter. Something twitchy like the R22. That would make a great show to see how the skills translate. Especially as you're a fixed wing pilot, you have habits to break!

i know this is an old video but idk if youve seen the "mullet" mod for the antenna? you lay the vtx back and separate it from the camera board and it puts the clover leaf back between the rear ducts so when you crash and burn its less likely to break :) i just learned of this myself lol did it on mine and it works great!

Nice. I shot it mostly with my new Sony RX100 V, the audio was a mix of that and go pro audio at times.
