Enjoy all your videos. I am 71 yrs. old and have used Frownies off and on for over 30 years and was in the beauty industry for over 25 years in California. I have found my holy grail however and have used it nightly for over four years and it is a gamechanger and very inexpensive. I decided to try transpore clear surgical tape from 3M. It is amazing. I clean my face each night and apply my skincare then the tape. I have strong 11 lines between my eyes and when I remove the tape the next morning there are absolutely no lines whatsoever. I clear away any remaining glue with a QTip and makeup remover. It will remain line free for hours. If I add a touch of a line reducing serum such as Peter Roth or numerous others, it will remain line free all day. There has also been a residual improvement over the years. The idea came from my Frownies experience, but the tape has been far superior for me at least. Another tape that works wonderfully is the porous flesh tone surgical tape. I found out about that after having facial skin cancer 2 years ago and used it after surgery as the wound was healing to camouflage the stitches and inflammation as I work in the public and the wound was very distracting. Might want to give it a try ladies, it does work!!😘Roberta

Improving my diet and staying hydrated has made such a difference in my skin. I quit eating processed foods and sugar. Lost 40lbs and I am now aging backwards. ❤

Thank you for all of your videos. I am in my 50s and I have been wearing make up since I was 14 and I've been doing skin care since I was 23 and I get told many times that I have good skin or I look young for my age and so many times I would think what does that mean, that really isn't a compliment and watching your videos just encourages me it doesn't matter how old I am I can just still be me. I just feel as a woman. Once you hit a certain age it's like you're invisible to people or to society and I just refuse to feel that way thank you.
The thing that people don’t realize about Botox is that it stops the 42 muscles from working (43 with your neck ) I see clients all the time that did Botox and now have dropped jowls and muscles. When you freeze the muscles and stop them from working you are actually doing the opposite of what you hope Botox would do. Besides the fact it is a neurotoxin. It’s simply not worth it.
I have used and sold Frownies for over 30 years. Love them! They create muscle memory while you sleep and they absolutely work.

@@PeachesSkinCare so there is no way to reverse what got stretched out right? I did botox 3 times, with 8-10 months in between. By that time I totally freaked out, I definitely got dropped jowls. But without it, I look so much older, more tired and even angrier.

I do Gua Sha a few times a week when I remember. It really makes the face feel good. I use a retinol every night before bed too. On an added note, I have used Bobbie Brown Taupe eye shadow for YEARS. Last time I tried to order it, it looked like they were no longer making it. I bought your Bottled Blonde eye shadow and OMG after watching one of your recent videos on applying it, I have to tell you my eyes just pop. I am loving it. I have heard over the years older women (I'm 70) shouldn't use shimmery eye shadow. I'm here to tell you wrong!!!! Free yourself from the so called stereotypes on what older women should and shouldn't do. Love your videos!
Because I wear glasses, I love shimmery eye shadows because they make my eyes stand out more! I turn 64 this month.
I’ll be 74 and I always dab a shimmer on my center lid. 😀
I will be 73 and really love Nikol’s eye shadows; Bottled Blonde looks beautiful on my eye’s when applied like Nikol teaches. It’s just a slight sheen not high shine. It pops the eye. Forget the age thing. Use what makes you feel and look good.
I did use Frownies for a while, and I really did like them. The great-granddaughter of the founder has a wrinkle-free forehead, and I know she’s in her 40s. She’s probably been using them since she was in her 20s. Little tip: if you’re only getting four hours of sleep per night, because you’re staying up late, there’s no reason not to go ahead and put those Frownies on, a few hours before you go to bed, if you’re just doing some work on your computer, etc. Even after you wake up in the morning, if no one‘s going to be seeing you for a while, keep the Frownies on! Sometimes I would wear them during the day, if I was just going to be alone.

I have been doing facial exercises since reading that the face is the only area of the body where muscles are attached to the skin (elsewhere muscles are attached to the bones). I look ridiculous contorting my face in every direction 😂 but I feel the difference, my facial muscles feel stronger. Just don’t let anyone see you practicing!
Me, too! I’ve done it for years. I don’t like how my facial muscles feel if I skip it, either.
I really appreciate your very comfortable honest persona! You’re very relatable . I used to model in my late teens early twenties. Fashion. I’m now 79 and one thing I’ve learned is, most youthful looking older women have good genetic’s. Of course skin sense is vital to healthy skin like do not smoke, or sunbath, or use alcohol other than special occasions! You have the most wonderful hair also! Thank you for being so kind and real!❤
Hi Nikol. I simply love and appreciate you for sharing a balanced message we can relate we too. Since I was 16 I've always invested in "quality" products I'm 71 now and my health has taken a toll on my skin so I just gave up. Bc of my health I have been unable to get any dental done and my beautiful hair is all but gone. I have hope that I can have some things done. I have been missing beauty & fashion but today, in this video , I am so encouraged to get back my "groove".
Don’t ever apologize and or defend yourself for being authentic and doing you. Just because you chose to be on social media does not give people the right to be disrespectful and hateful to you as you are living life how you see fit. Remember you can never reason with crazy. I live in Dayton, Ohio and the owner of Frownies came into my business 20+ years ago. She happened to mention that her company had invented them in the late 1800's. I was intrigued so she brought me a sample. I've used them off and on ever since. I found that they really work!

I use Wrinkle Sminkle silicone patches at night. They come in shapes for different areas of concern on your face and neck. I am 60 + and love them. Worth a try for sure.

I have been using your stainless steel gua sha tool daily since January 1 of this year. I use it with Biossance Vitamin C Rose Oil. It is my first step after cleansing each morning. It removes puffiness and gives skin a natural rosy glow. I am 74 and highly recommend this addition to a person’s “maintenance” routine. And you were so correct about having the stainless steel. Can’t tell you how fast I would have broken a stone tool because they do get slippery and fall from your hand.
And PS: your lipsticks are the best!

I've been using Frownies for ages, they really ARE very effective. Nice "side-effect": they help better sleep if they are used on the frown lines and left over night forbest effect. Also the GuaSha is a brilliant tool: every night a "fullface" before and after applying my cream. Thank you for your many great tips. 💝

This was the best video Nikol! As you know I’m all about aging naturally and still trying to look the best I can for my age. I have been using Frownies for years. Maybe it’s genetics or Frownies, but although I unfortunately wrinkle my forehead naturally when I talk, I have no permanent lines. I think Frownies may be the reason. Frownies are great, have used them for years but I love Smoothies brand even more as they are medical grade silicone and they are clear, very easy to use as you do not have to wet then stick and hold. I wear them at night on my 11’s and sometimes on forehead line and also when I’m working from home mainly just the triangle patch as I scowl when I read or on the computer, I’m 55 and while it is not botox it really has helped me to keep my 11’s more smooth. Of course diet and lifestyle are key to skin health. Great content, Nikol.

Nikol, I've been seeing Frownies and their sister product Wrinklies advertised in the Vermont Country Store catalogs for decades. I always thought they way they work is as a "reminder" to not keep muscles tensed in areas where wrinkles tend to form, like the 11s between the eyebrows.
Great alternatives! I alternate days using Nuface (a conductor), for lifting sagging skin and Omnilux (red light), for wrinkles. Sunscreen daily!

I just recently got Botox. It was expensive, and I would rather not put it int my Face. That s tutorial came out at the perfect time for me. Thank you!!!❤
I'm 36 years old and recently did botox for the first time, twice, spaced 4 months apart. I'm not gunna lie, I love the results it gives me. It makes me look less tired. But it's expensive, and for me it wears off quickly. It is fully worn off now, and I feel that even doing it twice has greatly reduced my forehead lines, I think due to my skincare regimen. I don't know if I'll do it again, maybe, but would love to do some things in between to maintain results and not have to do it so often. Obviously something a little more natural is also my preference. Going to have to try this. I hold a LOT of tension in my forehead which is why I have lines there. I have been thinking some relaxation techniques of those muscles would help. I'm a physical therapist assistant and have performed cupping for muscular conditions before. I never thought to do it on my face! I am going to try it.
I started seeing 11 lines at 30. I used kinesiology tape there for a month and it disappeared. Now I only do it a few times a week for maintenence. 100% works on expression lines. 31 now, no 11's. I think it trained me not to frown.
My great aunt used Frownies because she saw Gloria Swanson wearing them in the movie Sunset Blvd! I am using them now. My one experience with Botox lasted about 2 weeks and then I noticed that my eyelids were a bit droopy. Not the result I was hoping for. Never again. My daughter and I treated each other to the Ziip facial device for our birthdays. OMG. Fabulous results for both of us. I Ziip, pop on my Frownie between my eyes, and wake up refreshed and rested. Great products!

You are beautiful and chic....and HONEST. Buying Frownies and the transpore tape. I use retin-A every three nights.and a vitamin C product every morning followed by a moisturizing sunblock which I reapply fairly frequently. I drink lots of water and green tea until 4 pm....then herbal tea. No white sugar or white flour.

I have pigmentation under the eyes similar to yours, which I assume is my melasma. Also with the sunnier weather, even wearing sunscreen all the time, I can see my melasma getting darker.

I have some old Frownies that haven’t been used in ages, but I must take them out and use them! I have a NuFace and a Bear that I use plus an Omnilux. I like the Bear because it has a two minute program that I can get done and get on with what I need to do. I started with the NuFace and I do still use it but it had to be used for a certain length of time and now it’s just a matter of up keep. I just started the Nira and it is also working on those lines around my eyes plus those pesky 11’s. I have heard to many horror stories concerning Botox and fillers that I just can’t go down that road. I must be doing pretty good as I just had some surgery done and the nurse asked if there had been an error for my age because it said I was 81, but I told her that was right. Great compliment right before they knock you and and start cutting on you! LOL❤
