    Hi Kris. First of all: thanks! This is just an exemple of the way to do a review for an instrument that someone could be interested and there is no effects and lies on it. Just a great musician performing and talking about the instrument. Thanks again. Please, let me make you a question: we need to make some kind of transpose keys for a different songs of our show and we use via midi a tank Yamaha PF80 (standard midi connection 5 pin) and to send the transpose we use set list maker )an app for live shows absolutely amazing and powerful) but we are not sure if it’s gonna work with that keyboard (Pj88) in other hand we use the iGrand Piano like you for the real piano sound that this is great as you say..so this app understand the MIDI program change sended by the other app (set list maker) and works like a charm .. Maybe we can use the PJ88 to move iGrand piano as a piano module but we are not sure if (maybe via Bluetooth as a MIDI sending data) will be understand by the PJ88? This is because that kind of controllers pianos of a new era don’t has the standard MIDI cable Connection..and in most of the times the value 32 or maybe 07 as a program change (transpose/volume) is not understood by this new MIDI era keyboards. Sorry for the long bible writting here..but we need some kind of light about this question! Thanks a lot and congrats for your talent, music and videos.

    Amazing demo, I wish I had your ability with those "mistakes" . Your style is amazing. You should do tutorials for some of those songs. There are keyboardists like myself who would love to learn those. Especially the Stardust one. I'm considering getting that keyboard but waiting to see if I can get ravenscroft or something else to run on PC with it. I'm wondering if it could run on a windows surface.

I connect the keyboard bluetooth to my Garage Band on my Iphone...then the iphone to airpods...and choose "Grand Piano" in Garage Band. Then I listen to the song I'm trying to learn in thru muff headphones from a tablet that go over my Airpods...so i can hear both in my ears (and turn the volume all the way down on the Veetop so I don't drive the family crazy.

Also are you just using a USB-C cable with an adapter to have USB-C on both ends or you using some kind of module? Seen some videos where it looks like they need something called iRig 2 and a bunch of cables to get it working.

      @KMNKeyboardVault  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi my friend thank you so much for watching my videos and your comment yes the speakers are very very low so I added my Bluetooth speaker to it and also in the video I hooked it up to my studio sound system the main reason why I bought this 88 key piano is because it folds up and it’s portable it can fit underneath the seat of an airplane and I mainly bought it for my iPad apps so the keyboard is actually a controller
      Being that it’s 88 key controller this is the perfect piano that you can take anywhere

    Hi Kris,
    Thanks for this video. I just wondered, does the touch sensitivity of the piano increase when connected to the iPad? Using the built in sounds you reckon it only has about 3 levels of touch sensitivity, but do you think it outputs a larger number of velocity levels when using midi output and a tone generator capable of responding to more dynamic levels. Hope this makes sense

      @KMNKeyboardVault  Před 3 lety +2

      Yes absolutely it is very good for gigging I’m thinking about doing a couple test drives with a gig myself The only thing about it is that you’re definitely going to need a stand or a really good table that both sides are balanced and also you’re going to need to control your iPad apps in a way that you can access the sound that you need but as for portability I absolutely love it I’m gonna take it everywhere I go
