When I fitted mine, both levers really got harder to pull. The clutch was very heavy. Had to install an easy clutch. Never saw anyone else have this issue with other shorty lever installs. What did I do wrong?
Lubrication.
Wrong size parts.

In terms of popularity, the 3-finger model is purchased by the most people
Clearly not.
Your subconscious mind is doing all the grabbing of the brakes.
If you've had to think about it, you've crashed and died.
You have gyroscopic forces that do the extra steering performance not hand control.
You have a mid mounted engine to deal with.
Its really foolish to do this.
The whole point to using your whole hand to reach for the level is so you fully shut off the throttle as fast as possible.
Or, you apply your tuned braking performance at exactly the right location for the corner.
You require those 2 extra fingers to get maximum application to your tuned brakes.
The lever doesn't require tuning.
Your subconscious mind is what's important here, not the think part of your brain.
