Get any project that had dual high and low beam and shove in a hid kit in their.

On an 05 Ram with aftermarket Spyder projector headlights. Has a bulb for high beam, and another for low beam. Iâm assuming theyâre both H1 bulbs, at least thatâs what Spyder says they are. Does GTR have a bulb that fits the projector?
The GTR Lighting Ultra 2 is not available in the H1 bulb type.
If your truck is used on public roads, we would recommend going with a better halogen bulb to remain DOT compliant.
The Osram CBB bulbs are some of the best halogen bulbs on the market today.

My dad has a 2007 dodge ram 1500 and he bought sone cheap led bulbs and when we installed them the lights only turn on for a couple seconds than shut off until you turn the key off then on. I then bought these resistors kit for the bulbs and now they work but they are stuck in high beam mode and when you hit the high beam switch the low beams come in for 1 second then go back to high beam mode. I now just bought some pwm modules to see if those will work
Sounds like the PWM Modules should fix everything!

I have an 06 2500 and its because of the poor reflector bowl that Im gunna upgrade to either the morimoto or alphrex (likely the Nova series).
I was watching one of your earlier videos where you installed an S-V.4 in a 2003 Ram and said that bulb was one of the only options for a decent beam pattern yet here you do not seem to like the pattern. Is it a different bulb from the prior video to this one? Did they make some changes that do not make the S-V.4 a good option anymore? I am looking to upgrade my 2005, I know they are not great lights to begin with, believe me I know, and would like to find the best option. Thanks for the comparisons.
It is not that the V.4 is a bad bulb, the Ultra 2 is just an insanely bright bulb that produces a fantastic beam pattern. The V4 is still a fantastic option for your vehicle, and I would highly recomend the both of them!
would this be the same for the 2500 models? Also, my fog lights are currently a 9006 would running a led 9006 conversion bulb be the best option for them or should I get another bulb style for my fog lights?
This info is the same for the heavy duty trucks, Yes. You should keep your bulb style the same when upgrading if possible, So I would stick to 9006 for the fogs!
There was no mention in the video if these will still allow the Daytime Running Lights to function as they use the high beam at reduced voltage. Will the GTR Ultra 2's work?
They will, but the bulbs will run at full intensity.

I have a 2005 Dodge and you would think after installing a load equalizer the "lamp out" signal would go away but it still shows up! Also when I switch from brights to dims, the lights turn completely off for about a second and then come back on. Any answer on what could be the problem here?
That is very odd, I am wondering if you have PWM modules installed with those bulbs? I am also wondering what bulbs you are running, let me know!

Looking for help I have 2004 Dodge 1500 RamI have recently installed new headlight housing and then up graded to LED Bulbs. The housing assembly has a black box attached about the size of a deck of cards. The LEDâs work except when going from high beam to low beam at that time the driver side will blink about 4 to 6 times and set at low beam. Also I receive a light out on my dash but it turns off when light stops blinking. Is there anything I need to do?

I have an '05 and my headlights are flickering on low beam on both sides. It has a driver included on each light but it's still flickering on low beam for some reason. I'll give these guys a shout and see if they can help me. I may go ahead and purchase some different light bulbs while I'm at it

I believe these were some pretty basic aftermarket DRL strips. Similar to something you'd find at a local auto parts store!
How do I stop the dreaded lamp out when installing leds on the blinkers brake etc...

Just installed a set of LED s and I'm getting flickering. Would a load equalizer stop that it's just flashing like once every half second?
I got the same problem too I took off mine I canât stand it it keeps going off and on at night when you open the door when you close the door man I just got tired of it I took them off

I have an 04 ram 2500. I replaced the lens assembly with ones that are not oem but look like them. I installed fahren led 9007s. I have a U shaped light pattern. Will changing led brand change pattern? Or is it just a case of the cheap reflector that's in my new assembly?
I just installed Fahren's on my 05 Ram. You can rotate the bulb a third rotation to get the best light pattern.
It's a reflector issue. Gonna try to find ones with a similar reflector. These cheap Chinese ones are garbage.
Definitely an issue with the housings themselves! Changing a bulb wouldn't change the pattern, just the brightness.

A retrofit is your best bet. Most of the aftermarket options arenât great.
High beam on the Ultra 2 has a better cut-off than the lowbeam.
These housings are so strange, You donât normally see an effect like that.

These headlights are just pure junk. Do a retro fit.
They are really bad, Itâs true. Even the best LED bulb on the planet canât improve a bad headlight housing! A retrofit is highly recommended if you can do it.

I do like those headlights yâall have on the dodge, BUT what retrofit headlights would yâall recommend? Iâm so sick of my bean pattern and I just drive my other vehicles at night because of it.
Youâd have to retrofit them yourself, There really isnât a premade set on the market thatâs any good. Most of them use cheap projectors that donât hold up over time.

You really wouldnât see much of a benefit with that swap. Those headlights arenât much better at all.
