Loved talking with you guys and can't wait!!
Have you heard of Gundam Battle Gundam Warfare mobile game? What's your thoughts about it?
The bandai eva 06
I’d love to see some 1/100 NGs from Gundam 00.
MG banshee Ver Ka?
Love your vids and what about mg unicorn pls
Fun fact: The MG Nu Gundam Ver KA was the first Master Grade to feature PG-style “emotion manipulator” hands.
I dunno, I thought it was interesting.
Always have mix feelings towards those types of hands
It's true! They're also scaled to it that's why they look silly on any version of the RX-78-2
A HG 1/60 Gundam has also a movable parts fingers.
Well, that just makes it more attractive to me.
Mecha Gaikotsu Yeah, I always thought they looked a little on the chunky side with smaller MS. Some big boy hands right there.
For those still wondering how long it takes to apply water slide decals, it’s taken me 8 hours to do just over half of a sheet (Shenlong Liaoya). There are usually more than you need, especially for Ver.Ka kits.
It’s painfully slow as you sit and wait for the decal to soak and then you meticulously adjust it. It’s exhausting work.
U went where we were too afraid to go
A tip that I find that makes it not as bad is do put the decals after you finish the part so if you are on the body build it put the decals on the next step then decals...it helps me alot to do it that way
tamiya mark fit helps a lot with water decals
MG ZZ Ver ka took me 3 days to apply all the decals *in the manual.* Yes, there were leftovers. No, I'm not using them.
Jesus Christ
Dam
The dedication
I dont even put decals beside if it's really needed
the lion
the witch
and the sacrifices this man made to make his gunpla look rich
While that's impressive , as a half gunpla ,half military kit modeller , 3 days isn't that much to me , a 1/72 scale's decals has taken me 6+ days to complete (mainly cause of tiny decals in the cockpit)
Liar
Katoki is known for making realistic designs... *Stares in Wing Zero EW*.
It's more like it's what they said he should do.
We're taking about a bipedal war machine here.
@Jessi Maldonado which version of the wing gundam are you talking about here exactly because all of the MG has been solid, with the Wing EW being the worst.
Well it's here soo
here it comes
I find it funny he size compared it to an almond, but not a ruler... xD
You see, I had an almond.
Not a almond. *TWO almonds*
No one:
Mecha: TWO ALMONDS!
No one:
Mecha: ABSOLUTELY AND UTTERLY
For anyone who's still interested in this kit, I recommend that you tighten the joints during the build especially on the legs, I also made the fin funnels better on my kit by tightening the dented connectors, make sure that you only add glue or whatever you use to tighten joints on the 3 little dents that go towards the exterior of the funnel to connect to the other one, and not all around the connector tho, because if you do it's gonna be harder to detach and put away to the opposite side.
For me, the RX-93 Nu Gundam has an historical importance in the UC timeline as it was the major turning point and the end of histories most great rivals Amuro Rey and Char Aznable... CCA has to be my most favorite Gundam movie in history
The mecha design of nu gundam and sazabi itself really catch my eyes, you should collect both kit
Gotta say same
Small correction: The Nu does NOT have a full psycho-frame canonically, just around the cockpit. This is a non-canon Katoki redesign. EXCELLENT review!!!
FA Gundam Thunderbolt Part 2 pls :3
It is finally out lel
For MG Nu ver ka, it took me 10 hours straight to do all waterslides for it, as well as the HWS expansion set and double fin funnel expansion set. Was quite the time honestly. Didn't expect to finish it all in one sitting while listening to music
Come on, I think the Sazabi Ver Ka is much more than a glorified statue.
It's a solid model, with great mechanism, and excellent posability !
only lazy people would say its a glorified statue
I absolutely ADORE this kit, it was actually my third MG kit but I loved the Nu Gundam design so much that I couldn’t wait even though I wasn’t sure that I was ready at the time. I have placed all the water slides and I admittedly took my time but it took me well over a week. But it looks fantastic with them all on!
I might be mis-remembering, but one thing I really loved was the fact that when a mobile suit picks up a weapon, there is a slot in the manipulators the weapon handle interfaces with (Seen in 08MS Team) in order to install/load the weapon for use, kind of like plugging in a USB for your mobile suit! That's what I like to think of when I see the tabs in the PG style hands
Appreciate your covering an older MG. I always Trust your reviews for good builds 👏🏼👏🏼 MG Sazabi next time pls
So uh we getting part 2 on that full armor gundam?...
No?...
ok
Didn't even respond SMH
Imagine being in 2019 and still asking that
Kek
He’s already explained that it was an absolute pain in the ass to get it to stand up and stay together while filming it, that’s why there’s no part 2
Yeah, he would have to keep it on the stand for the review and not use the turntable. Although, I never had a hard time with mine staying together armored up.
Guess what comes out next monday?
I’ve watched this review probably 4 or 5 times and it’s just because of how much I love your videos and this kit. It’s like a perfect combination. I even have the kit and it’s the centerpiece of my entire display.
Hey how about that part 2 for for Full Armor Gundam Thunderbolt Ver. Ka? Don't know why you haven't finished it yet.
Goblin Slayer he got overwhelmed by it
You’re reviews aren’t so entertaining and aren’t dull at all my guy you’ve come extremely far! Keep up the good and entertaining work
At 5:59 when you said "I'm gonna say it any ways" a ad popped up "Oh Oh Oh, Oh Reilly's, Autoparts".
Wise words...
When it comes to beauty, I get a hard time between the Nu Gundam and the 00 Raiser. These two beasts do own my heart. Damn!
Thanks for this awesome video!
That full exposed psycho frame version is absolutely 🔥 in my opinion
Great video!
I love this format for longer in depth reviews (of older kits).
I have the HGUC Nu Gundam HWS, can't wait for the RG Nu Gundam.
“Unicorn 2.0 onegaishimasu”
*Bandai drop MGEX with x4 price and gold sticker for the V-fin* orz
I used around 30% of the decals (I didn't want to overcrowd the original design) and it took me a whole week...
then I forgot microsol and half a dozen fell out....
What's microsol?
@@nisnast light solvent to fix decals in place
that decal sheet drived me nuts especially the lil' one's..I think I applied a bit just the large one's but all in all this kit is glorious! love your review's man
I'm actually more interested as to when you got married. Still love the Ver Ka though.
The amuro decal actually goes on the kit's left shoulder armor instead of the sheild, there's a specific sheild sticker included :)
God I love this kit
Currently trying to get the GN arms type D
And 2 hws sets to make with some plastic plates to make a thunderbolt style
FULL ARMOR NU GUNDAM
This will be my next Gunpla to assemble! Thanks for the video!
Been waiting for this a long time. Nice vid Mecha G! Thanks!
Full Psycho frame is the coolest. Its very subtle which makes it perfect. plus im a fan boy for clear parts. The original Nu Gundam only has psycho frame around the cockpit which i love how Katoki added a little nod to that during the build, its a shame thats its hard to display the cock pit though,. you should've touched on that buy taking a picture during the build because the cockpit looks so effing awesome.
Boi, attaching dem decals sometimes take longer than the actual build! 😂
Yes they do. I completed the Sazabi Ver Ka in less than 2 days. It's taken me almost 4 days to apply all the decals...and I'm still not completely done
The real question is...are you getting the metal structure version?
Probably not, unless one falls out of the sky in front of me...
That thing is silly expensive....
Can I make it a tax write off?
Mecha Gaikotsu Do you have any chance of getting it with a channel sponsor?
@@MechaGaikotsu Hope you get one from sponsors. that's gonna be epic.
@@josephdones656 Don't think any company will sponsor it since its already sold out and the purpose of sponsoring is to make more sales but you can't sell something that is sold out.
@@MechaGaikotsu how have you NOT made any of your Gundam purchases Tax Write-offs?? They’re necessary for your job, they should 100% count.
Ive watched this like 20 times and ive decided to buy this in the future as my 1st ver ka kit onced ive become a better builder. Your reviews really help me alot on my gunpla buying choices
Oh look.
Full Armor Gundam.
Would be nice if we got a Part 2
Now would it?
Those stickers are actually good! Premium af, never peel off
I remember getting this when I first came out. I think I'll rebuild it sometime in the future, along with my first MG, the God Gundam.
Also, my response to the foil and the color change stickers is "Screw that, I'd rather just paint it."
Bud, been following your channel for a long time. Love it. Didn't know you were irish? Lived in Dublin for 6 years. Loved it. So many friends there.
So I remember getting a ver ka as my first gunpla for my 14th bday. Was not a good idea giving a 14 year old beginner a ver ka
Oof, how did that go?
Those perfect grade hands need to be standard.....and that tab-in-hand weapon holding system
I owned this and personally it's one of the best kit I have built. The water slides is tedious but you really can't live without it. I just love the KA/RG level of details. The fin funnel is a nightmare to pose. 4 is the right number to get it stick on most of the time.
The 2 almonds really put the size in perspective for me, luv you mecha you open my eyes to new sights everyday
Mecha: I’m gonna say it anyway..
Ad: CRABFEWT IS BACK
I’m excited for my RG Nu.
same here....hope they fixed those funnels....
Me too! It's out this Friday!
So hyped
Same, hopefully usagundamstore ships them out asap
@@adamszuszkiewicz1709 We're probably getting them in September : |
A good one for the monday night premiers would be The mg 00 7 sword/g you always use for comparisons which if memory serves you have never reveiwed
I really needed that two almond size comparison, thank you.
So disappointed that the RG doesn't have the psycho frame, I love it when it's used minimally like in the nu ver ka as apposed to a unicorn or w/e.
It's not supposed to have it. It's something Katoki added.

Great review. I was wondering how great this kit was and have to say more meticulous than I imagined.
Also, I would love to see a review of the MG Spiegel Gundam (Shadow Gundam).
I recently completed this kit as my first ever MG after building several HG. strangely enough I didn’t have the same problem with the beam saber. My saber parts hold in the handle fine. I first watched this after building the whole body and decided to build the two small fin funnel wings for stability. i’m glad i did that. The connection on them should have just been a pair of 30mm pegs that just flip out of hiding. I did have a problem with floppy wrists holding the gun though. it truly is gorgeous and has great details though and the hands add to that
Always wanted to build the Master Grade Nu Gundam. Been doing the hobby for a year now and I've really fallen in love with the hobby, and the Master Grade Nu Gundam is one I'm setting my sights on to do real soon. Thanks for this great review. Really helpful
😊👍
15:30 I have a Molotow chrome pen I use for this kind of thing all the time.
Finally a nu gundam review, thanks for reviewing the old kits, would like to see other older kits review like Gundam MK II RX-178 =)
Is it mandatory to buy the Metal frame for this kit?
Or is just tightening the joints of the frame that it comes with enough?
3:17 ironic that i recently broke my sinanju ver ka
MG sazabi ver ka next pls
did u glue the diamond shaped headpiece with the head?
cuz mines is falling off all the time... and I am not sure if I want to put glue on it...
Thanks for the almonds comparison. It was critical to my understanding of the size of this kit.
In my opinion it’s one of the best Gundam(s) that I have had the glory of putting together. I have friends that wou Ltd definitely disagree
Wou ltd?
It was meant to say. I have friends that would definitely disagree
Couldnt agree more, I would like to build it more than once haha
Took me about a week ane a half to get all the decals on...
Damn!
Really? Interesting, it takes me about 2 hours to put on all the decals on a real grade kit and they have a lot
thats insane. but bravo
Need some help guys. I just finished and assembled the mobile suit and have a little bit of a weird issue. Both upper legs are super floppy loose. Like I can barely even get him in a brick stance. This seems really strange because all the other joints are just fine. This is strictly regulated to above knee. Anybody have this issue and what did you do to fix it. Please help..Thanks !!
How do people get rid of seam lines in gunpla? Ive been building them for 20 years, but i have never been given info on this
MG Nu Gundam: Man we look great.
MG Nu Gundam: Yes, our Owner really loves us.
RG Nu Gundam: Oh yes, your owners will love you both.
Between this and the MG Dynames, I'm conflicted on which one looks more beautiful.
both are amazing
This is 90 euros now. Where can I still find it for 50ish?
Also I'm considering buying either this master grade ver ka or a perfect grade. What I want to know is which one is more durable? I don't want a floppy mess in a year or 2. And want fully articulated fingers.
Edit: I'm in the Netherlands btw (your accent sounds Dutch tbh). Will perfect grades losen up like this? I want to have mine in a Bruce Lee style backwards kick, so I'm wondering if the figures even hold up in said pose or will the legs eventually fall to gravity?
And do you use some sort of polish to tighten joints up? And would that be needed with a prefect grade as well?
Thanks in advance.
Any recommendations for hand replacements for this kit? Those poseable ones are kinda finicky and have started falling apart.
Holly crap you have TWO almonds? Those sold out in a day and haven’t been restocked in months!
Lol, mine are still in HLJ's private warehouse 😂
Can't wait to see a review of the 2 almonds.
@@TheFr0z3nF0x they HAVE to be master grade - have you seen the surface & panel detail!
The almond was probably one of my favorite things about the review
Can't wait for him to review the almond 2 pack.
I just per ordered the hws ver ha cus I love the diff color scheme it has as well as dumb bulky extra armor.any advice for ways to tighten the joints while building? I’m prob gonna leave it up on the stand with funnels deployed so I don’t have to deal with it falling of the shelf and exploding or something 2 years or so from now
We need of this Monday Night contents 🔥👌
I'd like to see you reviewing the Aegis gundam from Gundam Seed :D
I do love that Aegis.
Sort my videos by oldest first. It’s not pretty...
Narrative has the same shield design, now you are reviewing this kit 🤔
Well, the narrative was what the nu was based on wasn't it?
@@adamszuszkiewicz1709 no the narrative is based on the nu by taking it's inner frame
@@swivelboiiguess6422 "A mobile suit made by Anaheim Electronics, it was developed as a prototype for the RX-93 ν Gundam, testing the Psychoframe, and many portions of its body are made from identical parts." quoting the gundam wiki
This is going to be my next build. Can't wait to jump into it
Im super late to the party but i juat bought the sazabi ver. Ka to go with my NU ver. Ka and didnt realise i hadnt panel lined either. Literally panel lining the NU gundam as i watch this haha awesome video
"They haven't moved an inch"
The stickers aren't even half an inch long
This video came out at the perfect time as I'm looking to buy this kit
Somehow, I love your voice and your enthusiasm, so, subbed ^^
love that tiny meat gang clip at 4:46
"No it's not the led unit in it's neck it's the mg nu gundam ver. Ka"
As i wish he said that
I put all the water slides on the mega unicorn and it took me about 2 hrs. And those were BIG! But I would like to see more ver. Ka and RG reviews. Keep up the good work and thank you.
I like the video idea. The kit looks really cool, and I don't even usually care that much for the Nu.
Well, guess I'm super early...
With the Ver. Kas that I built, I still love the Sazabi. I know this is going to be controversial, but doesn't the MG Freedom 2.0 hold more shelf presence than the Nu? With my experience, people who don't watch anime rated the Freedom 2.0 higher than the Sazabi 😭 (this is when straight built, I'm sure painting it would make a world of difference)
I love my MG ver.ka nu gundam It still holds up pretty dang well and still one of my favorite master grades although I keep the funnels on the stand as it is still a pain to deal with but other than that it's a great kit.
was about to comment if you can do size comparison then you actually did.. thanks! helps with decision making as I've been eyeing the Nu ver.Ka or the up coming RG.. guess I'll have to wait for your review.
Full Armor Part 2 onegaii
ONEGAISHIMASHTA
Personally, the MG Dynames is the best one to me.
The articulation and tight joints for dynames is waaaaaaaayyy too good to be true meyt
Did you ever buy the PG Strike Freedom and the Strike ?
apart from those, I'm really interested in the Hi Nu, I was about to buy it yesterday but finally decided to take the Turn Red astray lol I'm really interested in that kit tho.
Probably took me 5-6 hours to decal everything. I love this kit so much, hope we get a PG of this mobile suit someday
But can it giggity?
This big was the most fun I had building a kit. I missed those days.
this review convinced me to order it just now lol thank you!
took me 20-hours to build my Nu Gundam plus the decals! it's tedious but the outcome was great with all the decals/stickers applied. a satisfying feeling when you look at it all Glorious with all the decals!
Yasssss!!!! Been waiting for ages for this! Domo arigato senpai, plz mg sazabi ver ka next
Ver Ka Sazabi is still my favorite gunplay to date. Thing is massive and the transformation makes me so happy...need this one soon for posing purposes!
17:40 IMO I never really used that until I bought the extra funnels. Wanted an extra stand and more arms to have up to a dozen funnels fly around. Takes up a good chunk of shelf space though.
Great review Mecha Gai ! I decided to get the HiNu Ver.ka over the Nu Ver.ka and I don't regret it at all, with the HWS it is easily one of my favourite MG
