lets be real they're both going to cost a good amount to get highest tier troops etc. The main thing is will AOE end up making higher and higher tiers of troops? Also i heard AOE requires 3 heroes per march so its already more expensive, how f2p friendly the rewards are compared to other games is important too. Although I haven't played any F2P mobile games in the last 5+ years.

Rok is f2p. Lol I bet you've played hundreds of f2p games. You don't have to spend money to play mobile games dawg.. you need to learn the meaning of f2p... stands for free to play. Does rok cost money to download and play? No.
I'll definitely be spending. Thanks for showing these. I'm 5k into Viking Rise & I'm not even 25 mil might yet. That gave is way too expensive.

Total War has released mobile versions of its PC saga in f2p without adding anything, a pleasure of paying once for the game and playing as if we were on PC. AoE wants to compete with Rok and COD, except Lilith has a head start.
AOE wants to make useless profit without extraordinary gameplay.
We've seen this style many times before.
All mobile games are a waste of money. Do something productive with your life

On the Chinese version, released 2 years ago, it is estimated that to max everything (to level 100?) it costs about 150'000€..

Even if the value for the packs or items in AOE is cheaper but when they have more than tier 5 troops and more than 4 special troop types it'll be 100% still more expensive and harder for F2ps sadly .

Depends on the research/building timers and rss cost but yea most games with high tier troops at the start always get higher in long run 😪

Have you found any decent age of empires/ clash of clans esqu games you can just buy? This freemium bullshit is infuriating.
Kingdoms of Camelot was incredible till they ruined it with the attack and defence boost pay to win meta.

If your getting better value for your money, then it’s even more so, pay-to-win, remember as a free to play player, we don’t want the pay-to-play player to get a good value, it makes it easier for him and harder for us.
another garbage mobile game. A real age of empires mobile with optimized screen controls has the potential to sweep the entire world.
Oh I do agree that if they came out with a traditional rts on mobile and really fine-tuned it for mobile could be the best rts on the market.
Gotta be honest the *value* bundles seem terrible compared to other games. Even worst wothout having some sort of recharge event 😬
