- I've noticed a common issue with many golfers I've taught over the years - a tendency to stand up out of their posture, and cast a bit in their downswing. This not only adds loft, but also results in shorter, weaker shots with an increased chance of thinning your shots.
But don't worry, I have a couple of tricks that can help you fix this. The first one is to feel like your left wrist is bowed instead of flat or bent back. To really feel this, try holding a golf ball in your palm and make a few practice swings with your hand turned in towards your body. This will help you come down on the inside and present the ball back up to you, giving you more control and a better chance of hitting a draw.
The second trick involves your right hand. Bend it back and try to get it as square as possible towards the target at impact. Then, in the follow-through, feel like your palm is facing the target as long as possible. This will help you swing out to the right and hit more consistent shots. Give them a try and let me know how it goes! 🏌️♂️⛳️👍 - Sport
You’re a great teacher of the game brother. I appreciate the videos
My pleasure!
Dude. This works ! Thanks
Glad it helped!
I have the issue of my wrist being too bowed, with the club head being way in front of my hands with stupid low launch angles and peak heights
What happens if this causes pulls and hooks? How to fix that
If you have a strong grip and it points to target like this, you will pull it. Try keep your wrist bowed but logo on glove pointed to the same place it is at setup
I got that sweet ball first feeling and clicking sound with the irons but started topping the driver horribly. Thoughts?
I would say you gotta put a little time in the range you might hit a few bad ones but you gotta keep at it
Any chance you could move your entire operations to Calgary, Alberta?
No?
Well, I tried.
Awesome videos.
😂 Not gonna happen, way too cold for me!! Thanks for watching 👍
@Top Speed Golf - Clay Ballard so you're saying if I could correct the weather, warm all year round,...there is a chance?
I'll get back to you.
My left wrist has been bowed for atleast a decade😊
my question is does the back of the left wrist need to be facing the target at impact or can it be facing the right of the target. I have found that I have to strengthen my grip to hit it straightish. For the life of me I can't supinate my left wrist enough to have it point at the target at impact. Is this a match up thing with my body anatomy?
1. You're overthinking everything and probably holding the club too tight. At address you should be able to feel the club head, if you can't, too tight! Once the club is coming from the inside, you can bow on the downswing as much as you want and the ball will either draw or go laser straight! If you come over the top you will get a duck hook!
미국이나 우리나라나 프로나 가능한걸 왜 아마추어에게~~
저렇게 레슨해야 있어보이는건 전세게 공통
Why does everyone say left wrist flat at impact. This is the hardest thing for me to understand is the release because everyone is teaching something different
Slow motion would be helpful!
I don’t understand how this is possible… I have tried every way possible to keep it bowed but the weight of the club is too great!!
You don’t have to hold this wrist in the follow through. Momentum is going to force you to release the club. On the downswing, just make sure that once the club is parallel to the ground, the club head is inside your hands if viewed from behind. From this point, you can start to feel your wrist release as you turn your hips through
@@Fexyy thanks for the info… can you explain the hands inside the club from behind please… I am a little confused
