Back in the 60's there was actually a Russian officer, I believe the 2nd in command, who prevented his sub from launching nukes..and that would have essentially started a nuclear holocaust. 3 officers were needed to agree to use the weapon and he was the only one that wouldn't agree to use it. So yeah, he might have saved us all.
Gentlemen, it has been a pleasure watching several of your reactions especially "Hacksaw Ridge" and "Downfall". I wonder if you have ever seen "The Edge" from 1997. It is a powerful story of the fight for survival by three men in the frozen mountains of Alaska. But one of the men has a good heart and another is evil. It is extremely well made with a clear statement about the character of men. May God Bless and Protect you and your family.
“You were right & I was wrong.” About the horses??? As far as almost starting a nuclear war…well s-happens. By the way two more fantastic movies for you to review with Denzel Washington are: “Inside Man” and “The Equalizer.” I hope watch them.

There were no wasted scenes in this movie.. everything had a purpose.. Very efficient.

We almost had a nuclear holocaust because of a bear. There have been so many close calls.
Another really awesome submarine movie you two would enjoy is "The Hunt For Red October" (1990) with Sean Connery. ✌😎

“Taxi Driver” (1976)
Another great submarine movie is "Das Boot." Its a movie kinda like "Downfall" from the German perspective and is super intense.
He has already done downfall.
