Pilots were having lack of training and awareness about it. Which led confusion and lost control.

What caused the crash of Lion Air Flight 610?
The plane they were flying was Boeing 737-8 MAX, and this plane had a problem. You see, during takeoffs, the nose would point too high. And instead of re-engineering the plane, Boeing decided to install software that would push the nose back down. But in the case of Flight 610, this software malfunctioned that it caused the pitch downs.

It's a great detail review. Moment by moment. Only 1 thing l would like to share as a correction: The Indonesia international airport is NOT in Jakarta city. It is Soekarno Hatta. Airport, located in CENGKARENG city, Banten province. Best regards from Indonesia of the South East Asia. (Ibrahim the Guru)

Hello I'm From Indonesian. This incident was the worst incident one month after the earthquake rocked Palu and Donggala, and the incident created a television station that specifically covered the plane crash.Killed 189 in total. I found out the information from television after I got home from junior high school, then I checked social media and it was true that the incident happened in Karawang Bay. Many hashtags #PrayforJT610 on social media, there are also irresponsible people who spread fake news about the accident.

    I know why it happened.
Boings new 737max had an engine maneuver up the wing so it kept steeply piching nose up and they also needed minimum training so as the result as the nose up steeply ment that boing had to make a sensor to pich nose down so that it woldnt stall.
The pilots weren't aware of the sencor.
It did not push the plane into a steep dive but in this case sanario it did because again the pilots weren't aware of it.
