This game looks great, though! The menu is very boring in appearance, but everything else looks so packed with personality. Also, the character select seems big enough to fit more than 16 characters. Hmmmm... ? :)

shortbread I’m guessing the driver is staying in the midpack to show the action and how some of the things like weaponry and special effects will be in the game.

@@shabaddahuha That actually makes a lot of sense. I saw a 2 players gameplay where P1 was always first, and P2 was in between the CPUs, and they showed the kind of weapons you got, and the behaviour of the CPUs. If every playthrough was perfect, we would only see the player chaining turbo boosts, getting Nitros, red potions and blue shields, and not a single CPU in sight, and that would be kind of boring.

Please learn the controls before trying to represent a game. Watching constant empty hops without going into a drift was... Unsatisfying.
You are aware they likely had a limited ammount of time. Crystal fissure and Ando both said they found it difficult to adjust so dont assume

Let's hope they added in all the old shortcuts. Neither were taken in two of the maps they played.
I think you bounce too many times compared to the old version, but if the amount of time you bounce is the same then it's all good.
Don't know why everyone was complaining about the driving skills of the player because they showed off the AI and made it more fun to watch than just being in first place.
Background definitely needs the waving checkerboard flag!
Another big thing I didn't see anyone mention: you drive slowly now in the dirt/off the course, even with a mask around you. I do believe you stayed fast at all times with the mask.
They've stated all intended short cuts are back. Not glitch or unintended ones. Though one that needs to be added that isn't is landing on the rails at the last jump in this. It treats it like out of bounds which is dumb. Should make it where it'll slow you if you stay on it or something

btw this isn't the final version because dingo dile has no tail. In the most recent gameplays dingo dile has a tail meaning the game has been updated.

I liked a lot, except for Pura's voice and the transitions
The visuals look amazing. I can't wait to play it. And i'm sure we'll all get used to the controls, even if they're not 100% like CTR.
But here is what they definitely need to get right for the release:
1) Ability to choose whatever combination of opponent you want. Whether it be completely random from all playable characters like in CNK, the original 8 or manually select opponents.
2) The character icons are letting the amazing look of this game down. They all look too cartoony, too small. And bad angles. Tiny is side on and Dingodile does not look like dingodile. He's gained like 10 stone in his face. Make the four icons in race more clear and bigger. New designs a must.
3) A battle mode, would really enhance this game. The fact the developers have chosen character faces on the map, leads me to think we're getting a decent battle mode. Where you have 8 players in an arena just taking each other out with weapons. Similar to the muppet race mania game - waaay back. This game would be sick with new battle tracks. Also, it would be amazing online.
4) Sound. The sounbytes are not very clear in this game. N gin has totally lost his loud echoey voice from CTR. Lost his presence in this game. Also, when the characters have been hit (which looks really good on this game) you can't hear their sound byte at all really. The explosion takes over. I doubt they're going to get new voice work for the game now, so this will just have to be a downer. N gins voice is just awful tho. :(
5) New races, characters!! Brand new tracks that are longer and newer characters than the original 16 would be great. Many ppl think Koala Kong & Brio should have been in this. Let's hope.
6) All unlockables should stay locked like the original. Even extra added content should be unlocked within the game, instead of just easily buying it online. Drives me mad.
From what i've seen. I can't wait to play it. The graphics look stunning. But there is time for them to improve many tid bits that will annoy a lot of us, like mentioned above.

Menu music isn't note for note and it's quite jarring... boost from green boost pad should be a bit longer
I was quite surprised when you actually hit people when you shot your shield forward multiple times, lol. Also, It's surprising (and hopefully even refreshing) that I'm not seeing the ridiculously strong opponent rubberbanding that the original has. Unless you really get messed up to a decently large degree (or just stop), the computer players will slow down around you pretty strictly. (Within a pretty large radius or distance anyways).

Deveriam colocar os cara que fazem speedrun porque eles entendem do game. Pelo menos está muito fiel ao original, continuar os mesmo itens. That’s why people aren’t happy when people showing off the game are terrible at it. No one is asking for them to be pro at the game, just at least competent

If the PS1 could even keep up, didn't it cut it to 30 in splitscreen anyways? Or at least in 3-4 players where it even cut out a lot of the scenery detail. In Roo's Tubes with 3-4 players, the entire bone ribcage at the end of the track is not there.

+Variety Gaming how to not ruin this remake : the online mode should only serve to let the gamers race against each other ( no need to force us to use it by setting the uncknoables and the achievements as something that can be obtained by playing the online mode like those assholes at sony did with syphon filter omega strain ) , include al lthe characters from the crash universe , even those who come from games created after crash ctr , include the option to select the original sound track and the original sound effect from the original game like develoeprs did for the remake of resident evil 2

I stopped focusing on this person's gameplay skills after the nitro box incident ( you know which one ).
Aside from terrible driving the game looks great graphically, I hope they release a demo or something, although I'll get the game anyway lol.

Gameplay seems off. They are accelerating too fast after a stop. There's no build up to speed.
Also is it just me or are they hoping to many times after getting bombed etc? Unless it was 10 wumpa fruits you don't bounce 3 times i think?

The guy playing this makes the bots on easy driving look like an art form.
People have to remember that for alot of these players its their first time getting to play the game. They may not have played the original. Alot of new players are gunna buy this. Besides alot of these channels only found out a week before that they were gunna get this opportunity so i doubt they have alot of time on their hands to practice on the ps1 or they may not have been able to for other reasons
Only negative is the blue background looks awful and generic as......at least put some thought and effort into it. Also not feeling the 3d renders on character select screen. Poor dingodile what have they made you into
