FLORIDA TREASURE DIVING

This video provides a glimpse of a typical day on the water with a team working to discover lost treasure from the ill-fated 1715 Spanish fleet. In July 1715, a fleet of 12 vessels departed Havana, Cuba, carrying gold and silver to fuel the Spanish empire. Off the coast of Florida, the fleet encountered a hurricane that ultimately demolished the vessels against the shore between Ft. Pierce and Sebastian. Treasure hunters continue to search and find this lost treasure.
