World of Tanks (WoT) is a massively multiplayer online game developed by the company Wargaming, featuring mid-20th century (1930s-1960s) era combat vehicles. It is built upon a freemium business model where the game is free-to-play, but participants also have the option of paying a fee for use of "premium" features. The focus is on player vs. player gameplay with each player controlling an armored vehicle.

I forced myself to look at the mini map every 15 seconds for about 150 games. I wrote a script on my laptop to beep every 15 seconds and sat it next to me. Now, that may seem extreme but that little bit of training brought me up almost 1000 wn8 in a very short amount of time. It worked so well, that I subconsciously look at the mini map even when I am watching youtube replays. I am going to try that auto aim trick, that looks handy.
do it 10 times and you will gain 10000 wn8
@@larry-ny5yr My brain wasn't big enough to think of that one ;)
i recommend playing this video in background:
czcams.com/video/kYOcIwesUss/video.html&ab_channel=SaschaMans
look at map every time u hear sound
can u upload me that script pls
@@evilmac9623 I need that script :)
Look at the mini map, look around you, look at the minimap, look around you, every 30 seconds maximum, this helped me so much when I first started playing, so many players pretty much never look at the minimap untill a flank is actually dead and they are being flanked.
Nice video Kajzoo. Perhaps a good idea to adress those early game spots in your map videos if you ever decide to continue with those. We can even find some people to show what you mean in training map with some friends to let people see what you mean. And also ofcourse the counter to some tactics...
Such a good built up video. Nice and useful information no bs. Love your content. I always try to get better and always think of ur streams which makes me critic myself to play better and it helped. Also zooming out after every shot to check surroundings always helps me for situational awareness.
Thank you for the tips!
I have a really hard time internalizing the "competition against 29 players" thing. The one thing I dislike the most in WoT is that you aren't rewarded for winning as a team, your are rewarded for personal performance. Being altruistic is not important at all.
I can't imagine how a game like League of Legends would look like if players ranked up simply based on game record instead of w/l ratio. There would be even more chaos and toxicity.
What do you mean? The biggest reward is literally for winning and only then the personal performance. You have to do rather well to get +500xp in a loss whereas 500xp in a victory is just pretty bad. Unless ofc you only play for MoE and WN8, in which case it's on you, not the game.
I also think that this selfish play idea is often misunderstood by bad players. It's completely different when the unicum uses teammates hp to keep himself alive to carry the game compared to a bad player being passive and not taking advantage of the hp of his teammates.
@@jannejaakkola5836 I perfectly understand what you mean. It's completely true that winning as a whole gives more XP than anything else and this should be what players should prioritize. But tell me that you've never been blocked on purpose by a reloading teammate so they could secure the kill instead of you. The mere existence of personal performance as a differentiating factor makes players have something different in mind than just winning as a team. To expand upon my previous examples, imagine if football awarded more points to player scoring goals instead of the same amount of points to all the winners. You might end up with cases where teammates shove one another in order to be the ones taking the shot, or not passing the ball to someone who has a clear shot when they would rather take the risk and try to score themselves. It's just something that shouldn't exist at all, in my mind.
@@bostycraiova As long as we are talking about randoms, I've only had that kill stealing through blocking happen in the end when the game is over and that point I think it's fair game. You both already did the job in regards to winning, so then the dmg farm is a free for all competition. I don't think that is contradicting with the goal of winning.
And as you brought out the sports comparison, it is very similar actually. In most team sports you have some sort of goals, assists, blocks etc rankings which are usually linked to contract bonuses so for example in a roflstomp game you can often see how everyone is pushing up to get those juicy bonuses. Again, their #1 priority is to win but once that is in the pocket the mentality changes.
Ranked battles is then a completely different story and we don't have to go there.
Lol ranked used to be that way until they changed it recently. Used to be that going for a 1v9 carry was the reliable way to win but now with the amount of things forcing teamplay, you can't do that anymore
Good I like chaos and toxicity.
Great video my dude. I’m a newer player. Under 1500 games. I was getting wrecked and after watching your videos my last 100 games 53% at t8. Thanks for thinking of the newer players
Good video and a lot of valid points, definitely looking forward to the part 2. ;)
A minor tip for the content creation would be to slow down a bit. The fast paced barrage of info is a bit exhausting.
Nice to see a pro give back to the community great video with tips and tricks of the game ❤️👊🏻
Two of those were the most useful for me - aiming for better spot ratio and the look over your shoulders. The second one I've been trying to add in my gameplay for a while, but honestly I just forget about it constantly and if I focus too much on it I forget other important stuff like looking at the enemy I'm fighting lol. As for the spot ratio I'm still a bit too passive in the "early" game, probably cause I used to play TDs exclusively for my first couple of thousand games.
But indeed all the tips can improve anyone's gameplay, used to do around 1500 wn8 games 4/5 years ago, then started adjusting settings and following such tips like kajzoo's and other CCs. Took a while, but I haven't dropped below 2100/ 2200 recent wn8 for 3, 4 years now. If a green tomato with 15k battles like me can do it anyone can do it xD and as cringy as it may sound putting a higher goal after you achieved your previous one is probably the most important tip, if you put a goal doing yout tank's hp in dmg and started doing it almost every game, aim for +200 more for the next let's say 500 battles until you start doing it consistently, etc.
Look over your shoulder is basic sense no science there but ok I guess some ppl don't have it.
Much love kajzoo honestly your videos make me want to improve and play better. Please keep making them, much love ❤️
Some points:
- "Use your Teams HP" => One additional point is "As a good player I'm more likely to carry a close endgame scenario"
- Proper config your game => We arn't playing Quake 3 so low mouse sense > QB mouse sense (example)
- "double DMG than HP" => Going to unequip HP Booster from Maus :P
Good Vid my man!
Once again a very respectable video. I learn at least one lesson in every piece you upload. Thx a million
Your example of segmenting a game using Glacier as Part 1 was perfect. You will have an idea where you will play most of your game, but running to mid first for early spots/damage is a no brainer.
You're great man. I learned a lot with your videos. Keep going 👍
I was doing basically everything on this list, but I still was at about 3,5k recent, and just seeing your playstyle with some tanks helped me realize, what was I doing wrong and helped me to 4,7k recent. With for example Leo I went from 3,2k DMG average to 4,6k average, with wz5a I went from 3,4k average to 4,8k. :D
Thank you Kajzoo, I'll follow those advises
that auto aim trick is golden, i currently just hold right mouse button to lock rotation and then look around. will start trying to get used to this. thankyou!
great video kajzo, greetings from Baranja :)
Kajzoo, great video as always! Do you think you could do an in-depth guide or series about maps and positions to take on maps in every class? I think that would help so many people. 20-25% of my games, I can't get early game dmg because I'm not sure where to go on this specific spawn or even map. Would be appreciated :)) , great vid!
+1
Settings are pretty good ty man 🙌🤝
Thanks for the tips!
See you in part 2!
"Use the HP of your team!"
Alone for this, you deserve an upvote. While most of your "tricks" are explained often by other unicums, this one is maybe the most hidden secret and at the same time very powerfull.
Thx for honesty!
THis is selfish as fuck, most of this good players are actualy bad players they ar ejust stat padding.
Too many people already camp at the back
@@MrBalrogos ure stupid as fuck. Look how Kajzoo use HP of his own team (situation he showed on movie). How was that selfish?! His teammates faster or slower would get rekt by enemies, so what he could do in this situation? Go yolo and be a shield for his teammates?! No, he USED their HP to decrease enemies HP when they where was focusing on his teammate. Simple as fuck. What it gives? It gives him - obviously - better result to himself, but as well gives his team more opportunities to win.
The one video that improved my stats. I recommend it to people now. I have to watch this once in a while to relearn somethings
This was an amazing video!
Thanks Kajzoo, that helped me so much, especially to segment my 15-0 games. I never thought about playing different in the first minute of the game, then adjust to the second minute, and finish it off with the third minute of double R experience 😆
I have the same problem:/
Informative video, thank you :)
thanks this really helped me
Thx for sharing
haha love your commentary, humour and sound advice. this game is diffidently about patience
Those were useful, plain tips...sound so simple when you say them but I would never have thought of them. Thx m8!
the thing is - i already do those things and usually get top damage even with light tanks but the rest of the team just collapses in 2 mins or just never shoot my spotted targets which makes me go on the offense as a light just to keep up my score .
If you are getting top damage with a light tank, you are probably not really spotting and that's why your team loses.
@@hannuak when im on malinovka whit my LT and spotting the entire team the whole game and ending this game whit 1k-2k asist and TOP dmg then something is wrong, first you need team thats know how to shoot, than know how to pen enemy tanks
im sitting on spotting mision for 279 just because of my trash teams doing 0 asist for me
@@hannuak hey, 4000 wn8 player here. it is actually better to spot late/mid game than earlier in the game. very risky to spot earlier in the game rather then later, map dependent of course
Im spotting thats the issue - just no shots taken on targets spotted infuritates me and i decide to switch it up cause i aint relying on the team
@@mopsu4689 there was a time i spotted almost entire 1-2 line on prokhorovka with my light and my team just took 2 shots - as if their render range is only 100 meters
this was great advice
I've learn something new like the auto aim trick
Good advice****thanks***
Good video. I think I already do or try to do most of these. Need to work on my side scraping techniques and try to get my survival from my current 43.8% in last 1000 games to your suggested range.
This was all really good advice. This might be a bit much to ask, but I'm hoping we get more content similar to your How To Play Murovanka video. Maps and positioning are currently my biggest hurdle and sadly there isn't much relevant content about that
Soon tm ;)
Great tips. Keep up the good work.
Can you show useful positions for each group of tanks? TDs, Lights, etc,
This helped me a lot
Nice video!
I play for fun but always nice to get better at the game. Thanks
very useful, dude 👊😎
you forgot to put the video settings link in the description, great video!
Its there bro
1. Segment your games
1.1. Situational awareness
1.2.. Late Game
1.2.1 Avg. spotted per Game should be rugly 1.4
1.2.2 Survial rate per Game, aim for 45%~50%
1.2.3 Play aggressive, but not too aggressive
2. Aim higher
3. Use your team's HP
4. Be mindful of trading with TDs
5. Awareness = MiniMap
6. Look over your shoulders
7. Be Patient
8. Intuition
9. The Auto-Aim Trick
10. Fix your settings using with my video
Thanks....was going to write down his tips but rather than looking at the video once again I looked in the comments. Voila, there it was!
Awesome video, love it. My current aim is to get off more than 2 shots per game and improve my 35% win rate.
very good tips kajzoo. the auto aim one i do it a lot but since i am a boomer, sometimes i forget to desengage auto aim and keep it for the next shot... will try to improve that ;)
My brother auto aims a lot too, and I keep on telling him to stop that lol.
I always enjoy watching videos like this, even if I already know some or most of them, it never hurts to have a refresher... I am currently working on trying to be more of a Smart Aggressor instead of my usual Passive/Cautious Playstyle (Not Base Camp!) but its Tough and I often find myself getting Frustrated by it only to resort back to Cautious plays again due to lack of Confidence in my Team, Myself and/or RNG.
I like to be aggressive and play assault tds, but sometimes I"m afraid of gold spam... especially when I'm flop tier...and I become super passive. :(
@@natcuber I have been playing more Armoured Tanks as a way to try and teach myself to start being more Aggressive, I recently 3 Marked the Tortoise as well as the VK100P and Mauschen, which was surprisingly fun... Gold Spam never really bothered me after a while, you just get used to it besides, I was doing it myself lol.
Its when I play other Tanks which are more Mobile but don't have as much Armour as the Big Boys that I start slacking and play Cautious again :/
@@SlyMeerkat I recently got the Tortoise, but stuff like the SU-152k and SU-130PM firing gold really scares me. I die in a few shots that way. I'm at about 50% mark of excellence on the Tortoise. Something that works for me, though is tier 6. Gold is less ridiculous at that tier, so I recently got 2 marks of excellence on my AT8 (my favorite and most played tank. Also my first tier 6 tank). I've played for about 2k battles so far. Do you have any tips?
great vid nice advices, maybe osme chief gameplay :D
Thanks I am quite sheisse player but i found the minimap rule and the phasing the game to early etc. really helpfull and practical
The first part is very interesting for me. I never thought about segmenting the game. Yeah maybe I'm a noob player ( from 10k battles with 700-800 wn8 I've got to 30k battles with 2300+ wn8) but for me works to use the tank abilities. Very good tips!
Exactly, and this is why Kajzoo is the BEST english speaking WoT content creator in my honest opinion, both skillwise and his potential of teaching others.

Nice man, i like that trick with autoaim...
Love your videos, you are the best. Only advice, please speak more slowly. Keep up the good work.
TY 🙏🙏
Great video. Almost sound like the old SGTA Clan doing training of new players, same points still apply on trading HP, situational awareness etc.
For a second video, how about "how to apply the tactics"?
Ty
All good pointers. 10/10
Nice video. I don't use the auto aim though, it's too much of a hassle for me, I generally hold my right click to have my gun pointed towards my target anyway.
i think the best tips is to analise ur gameplay and then have habbits to not make thesame mistakes overtime, and mine worst enemy is my patience. I'm an energetic guy inside and i need actions
Love the thumbnail
Dude. Thats some good shit. Thanks
Part 2 incomiiing:)))
This is quality advice
thanks
Man that mid game game play at 1:15 was absolutely beautiful
You proud of yourself with this intro.
I regret having this in feed..
Its an introduction for people that do not know me. Unfortunately your limited intellectual capacity prevented you from realizing and understanding the fact that for the viewers that do not know me, I have to tell them who I am in order for them to take my word for these tips. This video is meant to be helpful yet you spat in everybodys soup.
Also, when you say use your teams HP, if they are spending it, take advantage. This way what would be trades of 1 to 1, where the enemy shoots the tank that exposes themselves, then get shot in return, instead become trades of 2 to 1, where one tank exposes themselves (either by co-ordination or their own damage seeking), gets fired upon, and then all other tanks can expose and fire while the other is reloading
Just subscribed. Been playing since 2013 but only lately have I been actually playing daily. With tips I have been improving in my sessions with damage, kills and accuracy. Thr hardest thing is training myself to play solo and not a team play and to learn when to be aggressive and patient. Not passive. Thank you for your video
How did he do the skyview POV at 8:07?
That would be really helpful in some situations.
Great tips, especially with that auto aim. Could you give us any tips how to maximize our winrate? I played 18 battles yesterday,I had a great time playing and I even got 2moe on two tanks in one day , my winrate was as high as 66% and I'm proud of that ,but I'd like it to be more regular (I got 52% overall winrate which is kinda low to me)
If you play well winrate is going to go up, I never really cared about winning and I have 67% solo
Been playing since 2015 and thing i did learn over time is that random= playstyle of considering team as bots.
There were many instances where i was ready to sacrifice my tank so others would survive or doing necessary push and others just being oblivious and not even helping (while they would have great free dmg)
Rn i rather play to my own best doing as much as i can but not relying on team at all.. is how i went from 2k to 4k+ dmg on average
hi bother where is the link for the settings video ) i would like to try, thanks
epic clip.
As a Greek subscriber of yours, I have to ask : is the first photo you showed, taken in Greece ?! :-O
Rhodes, yep:)
Some more tips : Raise your gun infront of your cupolas when facehugging especially put your gun into their gun but not aim directly but that your barrel is blocking the enemy gun because of the space armor lol double penetrator's are especially OP in this because you have 2x guns blocking 3rd marked the IS-3 II also have an XP record in it
Avoid face hugging as much as possible. That’s even better
@@392guru3 no, sometimes facehugging is the best option if you have no escape
Hi kajzoo,
What do you think of the current hulldown cupola sniping gold slinging meta? Not to underestimate your knowledge of the game, but many of your shots are either purely cupola sniping or can only be done using gold ammo (like shooting the gaps in a S.Conq's spaced armor)
I dont like it
Currently a 1900-2200 wn8 player. My biggest issue Is survival rate - late game damage, and patience. On games I get these under control my wn8 raises to 3000+
1000 was a low goal to set for this kind of good video lol
Kajzoo should aim higher after every video
Nice tips. But most important is focus in to the game and using brain.
you forgot the step before 1. shoot gold. 99% of top server players shoot "mostly" gold about 70%+ and that's being generous. If you're going to deny the fact that shooting more gold, no matter your skill level, does not improve your battle stats and wn8, then you're the guy that says earth is flat or there is no global warming etc.
Great tips, love watching you on twitch and your content here!
Nobodys denying anything lol, check my other tricks video from way back
6:05 poop joke are the best lmao
Unfortunately a lot of mediocre players interpret that "play for yourself" point as "actively fuck over your team". There are countless times where someone pushes you out of cover or someone fires from behind you when ur in a bush, thus getting you shot at...
10K subs llets gooooo
Sometimes I get frustrated i am not getting better, i am a above average player in my opinion which is (dark blue i think for xvm) with 7k battles but then i remember that the people that i watch videos from like Kajzoo have a lot more battles with a lot more experience from the tanks they face such as reload time, armor, etc.
my way to improve my damage= aim to do more than your overall avarage dmg per game, examble if your total avg dmg is 1k then you need aim to do over 1k every game and as your total avg gets better, then you need make more and more dmg per game
Already know all of that , but it's good to put words in those things that i do unconsciously and some times all you need to perform better is just to put word on your thought.(4K-4K5 dpg 3MOE my t10)
and most importantly: spend 2000$ a month in the premium shop so that not every shot of yours goes into the fucking ground
6:04 my guy 😎
Wanted to get tbettee at this game but never seemed to be able to, was sitting at around 52% winrate after 2k games, then one day it just clicked, it was weird, all a sudden I just got it. For the next 1000 battles my win8 was purple on average and my win rate was around 60%, my reasoning being learning tier 6 and tier 8
I feel you 😅
Same for me trying to get better all the time...nothing happens and after every 2k games something happens and my wn8 rises 500-800 😂😂
5:27 what is that thing marking the arty incoming? is that apart of the game now or a mod? i havent played in a really long time.

I really should try and apply these tricks to my playstyle. I mean Im someone who plays world of tanks since 2012 and I still do not much damage in my battles rarely I do between 2000 and 3000 damage but I mean thats only every 100 games or so 😂
I think the best tip i recieved that changed my gameplay was- if you want to improve stop listening to bad advice.
I downloaded xvm back in the day and i found out all the people bitching about the game barely knew how the mechanics worked.
We all have our difficulties with changing our gaming habits, just remember to take a break every few games and enjoy less stressful environments.
WoT can be a cesspool of hatred and frusterated players.
Thanks, but in the same time it's painful to play on a stock IS-3 against BZ-176, tier 9 and 10. At least I'm not dying after 2 mins, but 4
I laughed when you mentioned getting 3000 damage with an IS-3. Yeah, maybe when it came out. Now it's so old and obsolete you can't pen someone in the lower plate with gold rounds. I think I got 3000 damage with it ONCE. Now it's just a gawd awful exp point pinata for the other team.
Then we think otherwise:(
7:43 Another option is to hold down your right mouse button. That will lock your turret and gun, so unless you turn your tank, you will be aiming at one spot. While you're doing that, you can look around.
Thats a little bit different though:)
@@kajzoo Yes, but it can be used to pre-aim at, say, the corner of a building where you expect someone to come out. You can then look away.
I do that alot.....I don't use auto aim very much.....that is for noobs ;)
@@blaze1148 Auto-aim can be useful in some scenarios, though.
Any tips on what to do when my team starts to disintegrate in the first 3 minutes, like i cant so damage at all,

In the US, most Unis hide in back while the team does all of the work and leaves the Uni with a bunch of cripples to pick off for little to no damage against themselves. The EU and RU servers have aggressive players and very few "campers".
Number 7 is my huge problem when playing pubs
Very good video for new and good players i dont learn something new but i think this video is not for players 3k wn +
pro tip: if you have bad internet connections you can auto aim quicly before aiming the shot yourself, becouse auto aim RESETS your server reticle so its 100% of the time on the enemy tank your aiming at
It doesnt reset it, its just makes you think it does
@@kajzoo wait rly? When your using mod or the in-game server reticle it shows that it's gets to the target instantly, ofc you can't fire when you physical gun isn't pointing there
thx after this video i get 10k dmg thanks
