Why are we having different results for the same protein ?

+Zapy the reason why there are many protein sequence for particular protein because there many labs in the work which work on the same gene and protein. So these labs sequence those genes and proteins and submit them to NCBI. Also sequencing techniques can be different which also results in sequence redundancy.

sequences are being found then only one of them is right and others are wrong?

+Zapy the NCBIs nr_nonredundant database is actually redundant. Now generally all similar sequences are right bur because there are several labs who sequenced them their have different accession numbers. When you perform a search use RefSeq database for nucleotides and proteins.
