Today I Was having a walk round one of the local industrial estates between jobs and this is what happened because I had my camera out.
The first 10 mins didn't record for some reason, which is a shame because I was getting threatened by some of the staff that work there.
I was told that it was an MOD site and I couldn't record, then I was invited for a tour of the factory :)

Not a contradiction really. Some M O D sites do tours but you cant take pics. Obviously pics could be passed on. Where as no pics no proof. Only got hearsay then. Deffo not as reliable as pics.
I think when they released you we’re no threat to anyone the manager guy changed his opinion. The manger guy was a nice fella and the Police officer was a nice chap who used common sense. Love the videos

Oh no you wont have to, it will always find you, it is how we deal with it. Some of these I see people become just as nasty as the ones they deal with, I just think as long as we hold ourselves well enough, you always keep the upper hand. Take care dude.

Looks like the manager got a bit worried near the end there. Knowing that the stupid shit those lads were doing could affect his job, he started playing the nice guy.
i realy do wish there was a law that prosecutes businesses who claim theyre protected by the MOD contract they claim or might have. if a firm has a MOD contract it must for fill certain critera one being any production process they undertake can not be seen by the public , the company must comply to all standards in force etc etc i also note that under HSE regulations its a specification of those rules that any one has the duty to report unsafe practice . NOTTS POLICE THE CORRUPT POLICE WHO BREAK IN TO PEOPLES HOME WITHOUT A WARRENT FOR NO CRIMES

No hi viz, hard hats, no face coverings, no distancing like it states on the gates, and obvious dangerous work practices but then he makes out that his company's lack of care for staff is simply that they're trying to do a job and you shouldn't be pissing them off. I wonder if those that award the contracts know of this guy's lax attitude to health and safety.

I'm up for all this stuff. I used to drive an EOT crane (electric overhead travelling) it was as long as the width of a football field and navy blue and brand new. The gaffers had bought it from a place near Halifax in Yorkshire and it was a real looker inside and out with motors for every wheel and transmissions by David Brown also of Yorkshire, so it was a bit spaced out as well.
Anyway , to continue the story , I was lifting half a pallette of mdf 12×4 ft s onto the bed of a wagon and the load started wobbling but like more and more as time went on. I had seen this happen before and nearly shat myself so I knew what was going to happen next. So I shouted to the driver BOB F^CK OFF !!! and he got off and they all fell down because they had become weightless during the wobble. I got very curious about why the wobble just got bigger so I had a long look at the length of the crane and saw that was wobble-ing as well but at a very slow speed. So infact what was happening was , when the load lift was finishing a brake engages on the cable drum which creates a wobble in the beam on the crane which forces a wobble in the pallette of timber. But as a crane driver you are not asked to know about forced vibrations. And I suppose the same would apply to forklift trucks lifting 30ft RSJ s ....thats why we need more PJ s to make sure everything is being done buy the book. Look up Tacoma Narrows Wobbliest Bridge in History if you do not believe this story.

Dazzled by all the high vis clothing.
I used to think health and safety was bollox until a hook slipped from a part we were lifting and hit me in the face fortunately with my hard hat on it took the majority of the force and the back end of the hook hit me square so no harm done but could’ve died so not to be snuffed at
H&s is so important, I know a lot of people think it's all bollocks and a pain in the arse, but you and I know different don't we 😊😊
@@PJAudits 100% mate keep up the good work really enjoying the videos . Strangely enough it was a rolles Royce virgin forged jet engine outer cover that we were lifting . Had also worked on a few virgin blades aswel privately contracted work before it was sent to them to finish . I was hoping they’d have a bit more of a dialogue with you about their work when you went there as it is of interest but some are less friendly and open than others I guess .

@Greg Shearer A big part of H&S is prevention. So if the guy was not stood on top of the trailer he would be preventing a risk, then your comment regarding the fork lift driver would be invalid.
There is a reason Risk Assessments are being used.
Can't understand why you was so far a way from him unloading the steel if you had been a bit closer a girder might have hit you it would have made great filming and if was at it he could have backed it over you
