    USPCC should release a book with the history of the company and a complete catalog of all their decks. I would buy it for sure.

      Ah, yeah, for sure. Best that we have now is bicyclecards.org and Paper Empires by Jason McKinstry (it's a book which details not only USPCC, but American playing cards in general), both of which are enthusiast-made.

    Nice video as usual! Very detailed with loads of new information that I haven't heard of which is quite fun to learn about. I like the part about the tuck case, cause I always love to feel the beautifully made box before opening a new deck 😉 Thanks for this informative video about USPCC, great work 👏

    Yesterday I found the thread by slimcard about the seals and it made me realize that my Aristocrat Excalibur deck is made in Ohio with a red seal!🤩 Even before I knew that, I felt that those cards handle even better than standard bicycles and bees but I couldn’t tell why exactly. Your video also helped a lot!👍🏻 most detailed video on the subject by far

    Note: there might be a few mistakes here and there, so feel free to correct me about them in the comments down below. Also, regarding foils, I'm not actually sure if USPCC has cold foil, haven't seen a deck by them using cold foil, only hot foil. So cold foil might only be a Taiwan/PRC and Cartamundi process.

    Very poor quality cards. Just got Purple Monarchs and they are printed visibly off-center and slightly tilted. That is disappointing when you are buying premium "quality" cards. Cheap random cards are printed better.

    Quality Control as far as production USPCC is getting worse every year as far as severely off centered decks it's really bad for the consumer because sometimes 15 dollars plus a deck just to open up and see five to 15 cards so off centered that you just wondered why you are spending money you spend They have an Ongoing Registry problem..I just don't get why they can't Cut the cards Properly and that's a QA problem,,, utterly ridiculous👀They have a severe Registry issue problem that needs Attention in the production process if you are going to pay premium money for decks that's horrible and Even the standard bikes and custom Bikes have issues with Registry and off centering that's poor.,When I see more than 10 to 15 cards in a deck that stand out as all the way left or right its causing me not to want to buy and spend my money anymore .

    • @curtislee26
      @curtislee26  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Oh, yeah, the worst is their Metalluxe line, I'm better off buying an uncut sheet and eyeballing where to cut the cards and it'd still be more centered than the official decks.

      @@curtislee26 But what are they doing to put out a great product ...People are paying premium money for these decks to get off Centered backings ..come on step up make a better product .......

    • @williamg.655

      @@curtislee26 It's actually Not understanding why they can cut simple playing cards evenly after all their years it's not even realistic

    • @curtislee26
      @curtislee26  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yeah, I'll make a video about it at some point, but so many cardists and magicians are just no longer printing with them because QC is non-existent, and I heard from a cardistry brand that they are increasing the minimum order for custom decks to 2500 for both non-Crushed and Crushed Stock, it's just too expensive for what you're getting, it's ridiculous.

      @@curtislee26 This ongoing off center backing or border issue or what ever you wanna call it or a a registry issue as well is a manufacturing problem with the production process is just inexcusable
