How are you liking the single mass flywheel? I have a NA spec 2.0tdi CRUA and I’m planning to do a delete and stage 2 tune with a full straight pipe and clutch upgrade. Unsure if I wanna go with a smf or keep the dmf.
I converted my 2.0tdi scirocco CBDB to a single mass, its feels better, its still smooth, the only difference is you can hear a small chattering noise outside the car but not inside so its not bad
I straight piped a bmw 420d and didn't regret it as well but of course a petrol engine sounds better that i can't deny, also i don't care about co2 emissions because there are hundreds of factories in my city that just one single of them produces millions times my pollution rate considering i move my care 2km a day as average (which is hypocrite from the part of my government and world), also i find that the idle 1000's rev sound is quite tractorish but at least in the 2000's rev it get slightly better which is better than stock especially a stage 2 should be straight piped so i don't have a choice either way.
@@Ap0caaLypS Trying to justify your illegal emissions is a bit hypocritical of you. If you think it's ok to do it, and use a lame excuse like 'a factories near me put out much more emissions', then what about if every other diesel car owner in the country had the same selfish attitude as you. There would be thousands of cars sounding like tractors, and emitting awful plumes of soot. You do have a 'choice either way', you can choose not to emit plumes of soot and dangerous toxins by keeping a DPF on your car, the way it was meant to be. The fact 'you don't care about CO2 emissions' says everything I need to know about you. Just be thankful there were not thousands of other plebs who 'didn't care' when your mother was carrying you, because those toxins might have caused you to be born disabled, and then you probably wouldn't even be able to drive, which would have been a good thing in hindsight, because then you wouldn't be polluting the air and risking other pregnant mothers giving birth to disabled children. If you want a faster car, work hard, save up, and buy one, like I did. That way you can be legal and still go faster. Like a fcuking 420d is going to go much faster with a straight pipe anyway ffs, grow up kid.
Sounds like a jet engine at 0:08 damn
Turbo veins opening
the turbo
Music to my ears
Sounds like my straight pipe gti in the beginning lol, love the sound tho fuking aggressive 😈👹
This is how they should come out sounding from factory! 😂

That spool ☺️☺️☺️
Always wondered why a VAG diesel chugs its way through oil between services…
The blueish smoke is likely unburnt diesel, not oil.
golf mk4 1.9tdi 90hp. 12000km later and oil is still like 75% full
My old gtd burnt a lot of oil too but then I ended up buying a 2.0 150bhp leon fr that doesn’t burn any oil between services which are every 10k miles
@@ahernalex6196you realise Seat uses vw engines? It’s not a VW problem,it was a problem with YOUR car
Ah that spool, reminds me of the old 1.9 PD
Regret selling this car :(

Single mass is gonna be way less comfortable usually, if you arent going for crazy power and daily driving it id just keep the dual mass one.
I loved it, however not very quite 😂

@@AlexBibbyKXDesigns yeah I had that on mine as well, chattering noise on the outside. Didn’t bother me
how did you put the spoiler? is it difficult?
This was already on the car when I purchased it, but I believe is straight forward.

Is a gtd essentially a diesel gti? 2.0 but diesel
no, gte is plug in hybrid, gtd is the diesel gti which is what the "d" means in gtd
GTE - 1.4L petrol + motor
204hp stock
240ish stage 1
GTD - 2.0L diesel
184hp
230ish stage 1
240ish without DPF
@@valiantdiesel1332 or smoke free 230
Yes it is basically exactly that.
What the other guy said
The sound is great, but 20 year old cars don't smoke like this xD
Only on start up and then after there is no smoke
Why straight pipe a diesel ?
They emit bad enough emissions as it is, let along without a DPF.
It sounds like a tractor, horrible.
