The first of RUF "Yellow Bird" engines and transmissions were build by a good friend of mine. He worked for Alois for 10 years. Those cars are the SHIT!
As are most all RUF cars, He's the ONLY auto manufacter that Porsche has allowed to re-vin their cars as his own. Awesome podcast!

I asked the S4 or ttrs question, and I appreciate the answer. The reason why I didn't say RS3 is because I don't like the interior as much and I don't *need* four doors, but I never even thought about the extra wheelbase aspect. That does put the RS3 back on my radar, I do like it.

That Porsche NA 4.5 does not make 438lbft, that would equate to 131,4Nm/l. The v8 F1 engines was at 123Nm/l and NASCAR like 121Nm/l, 992 GT3 117,5Nm/l. More likely this porsche would be able to make something like 115Nm/l times 4.5l = 517Nm = 383lbft Im not saying its not batshit fast, but the numbers presented dont add up, you can literally not force more air into the cylinders without forcing air (with a compressor) into the cylinders. Great show as usual when lieberman visits!

I'll never stop disagreeing with Jonny. Base 911 is better than a GT4 as a sports car? Absolutely, unequivocally, no. From every aspect of what is important in a sports car the 718 GT4 is superior. Greater steering feel, more responsive engine, 100x better exhaust note, better balanced chassis, smaller, lighter, more engaging, more of an experience to drive, and not to mention it comes equipped with one of the best feeling 6 speed boxes ever made, whereas you can only get PDK in the base Carrera.
And don't bring up asinine gearbox complaints, the 7 speed in the PDK Carrera has similar gearing to the Cayman, if you're actually redlining gears in either car you best be willing to violate the speed limit.

I think these influencers are ruining the car community by doing and promoting illegal street racing to kids, they buy cars just for views but its easy come easy go. Before the Year is out I can see one of those youtubers being involved in a fatal crash, I'd rather watch smoking tire than watching these guys that know nothing about cars.
