- Today's vlog was a viewer request! We received messages asking about Disney World's Caribbean Beach Resort's current status. So we decided to revisit our resort tour playlist, most of those videos were filmed a few years ago so we are going to start taking a look at these resorts and see what's changed. We start by taking a look at the resort grounds and the food and amenities locations. We hope this helps those of you who are staying here on your next Disney vacation. Top tip if you’re staying in Aruba or Martinique, when getting the buses back to the resort it can be advantageous to get the Riviera bus back as it’s only a short walk from the resort back to those areas. I did this when I went in the summer a lot as quite often the Rivera bus was already at the stop at the parks and hardly anyone wanting to get on. Whereas I found the Caribbean beach bus wasn’t as frequent and could have a long line.

You’re totally right and I never thought about that. I thought about it for skyliner if your in Aruba or Martinique(I would think) but yeah that makes sense cause I hate the bus system here and it’s one of the reasons I don’t care for this hotel but I think that would help. It’s kinda funny how Aruba and Jamaica are considered standard but actually better now I think with all the new options to get around with skyliner and riviera. Last I stayed here was March 2019 for one night so skyliner was not there yet but bus system was hell getting to Hollywood studios from Jamaica section. Now I think it would be a good section being close to skyliner but Aruba sounds even better since you could totally take advantage of riviera being so close and they’re considered standard since they’re furthest from old port Royale but really it’s no too bad with the bridge
Love to hear the resort tours are coming back. No one does them like you. Could u do full park tours in the same way u do these resort tours ? I cant find anything likes this for the actual parks. I think you’d get a lot of views !! Thanks Tim ❤️

We used these particular VLOGS for our last visit to WDW and we did a split stay at Caribbean! We loved going out at night and watch the fireworks from across the water at Hollywood Studio! There are no elevators at the resort.
Sebastians bistro is one of the best meals we’ve had at Disney. Such fresh flavours and such a nice restaurant, one of the most under rated places in Disney

A couple of "cheats" that we discovered while staying here. We stayed in the Aruba section in the last building by the Riviera. One was getting food from the Riviera and the second was to take the inter resort bus from the Aruba section to the main entrance to get the buses for the kingdoms. It made life so much easier!
When I was there, the inner resort busses rarely stopped and we were in aruba as well.
My family of 5 recently stayed at the resort, and we had a BLAST during Easter! We used the skyliner over the bus. We stayed in Martinique and caught the skyliner to Aruba, and we were at the parks in no time at all. And the best part was that you could see the fireworks from the outside eating area and the beach area from 2 different parks! The lighthouse and the backdrop of the fireworks just made an epic moment each night that we were not in the parks.

This is my favorite resort. Pro tip request a room near the Skyliner Aruba location. Not only are you 100 feet from the Skyliner, but you're the last bus stop meaning you'll go straight to the other parks. This resort is beautiful and great value for families of 4. Amazing main pool too.

@@FunAtDisney sometimes it is like that which is annoying because riverside has 4 stops but I’m pretty sure there’s been times or there’s at least certain parks where they don’t share. I know last year the all stars were only sharing Epcot buses and I believe there’s times where they’ve shared everything but now they have been all individual which is nice
CB was my favorite resort when I first found my love of Disney (back in 1998) They used to have a steel drum band playing out by the pool and it was magical! But then I got a taste of Beach Club around 2004 and haven’t gone back since 🤣🤣

As a family of 5, this is our FAVORITE resort to stay at!
We stayed here in 2018and were there for the opening of the new areas on Caribbean Beach. We heard mixed reviews before we stayed but couldn’t have loved the resort any more. We had a room in Martinique and would recommend that area. Close to the main facilities and this was where the buses dropped you off and picked up first.
I’m staying here in 2 weeks for the first time so this was super timely and helpful!

We stayed here for our first vacation in 2010 in Aruba. Of course, no skyliner or Riviera back then. Didn't matter. We were in paradise 🏝🏖🏝

Little tip if you don’t already know, send a message on my disney experience app to request a preference of an area. I’d go for martinique, close to old port royale, riviera and the skyliner. Personally for sure would say it’s the best area to stay there! Enjoy your trip! ❤

We loved staying in Aruba near the skyliner station, so convenient, we got to use Rivera for the food locations and bus stops and Caribbean Beach for the pool vibes, pool bar and hammocks, best of both worlds!!! Also the yuca dish at Center Town is a great veggie option!

Hi Tim, great video thank you! We have stayed at CBR twice before and we are staying again in July, can’t wait! Just a top tip:if you buy a resort mug there are a couple of freestyle machines hidden within each island area of the resort so saves you walking to Centertown for a refill! They are beside some of the ice machines xx
Caribbean Beach is where we stayed the most. We love the convenience of the skyliner. We always request for the Jamaica section since it’s the closest to the skyliner hub. And we have so many food options with the surrounding resorts.

These were the first videos I watched as a Tim tracker! I used to put them on in the background after my surgeries, your voice was always so calm and I could dream of the day I would finally be able to visit Disney and stay at a resort there for the first time. Spoiler alert, it happened in 2019 February and now I go once a week🥹

This resort looks really nice but a bit big.Would love to see an updated Port Orleans Riverside resort tour, headed there in the summer. Thanks for doing these.
It is big, and that's one of the main reasons I love it. Outside of the main pool and main dining, the resort NEVER feels crowded, even when it's totally booked. You can walk around 75% of the resort for an hour and maybe only see a dozen or two people.
We live in Florida and after hurricane Charlie hit we replaced our roof with a metal roof and Tim is right. You can't hear the rain hitting it at all. Great tour!!!
I noticed last video also something wrong with the audio at times it gets all static

Thanks for the tour, Tim. We stayed at CBR during our vacation in Disney last May and thought that it was excellent for its transportation links and theming. It gets a whole lot of abuse over on Trip Advisor for its outdated rooms but we found them to be clean and comfortable.
I'm guessing there's a loose connection between the camera and the external microphone, cause there is a lot of static audio throughout this video, sometimes quite painful heh

Memories.. got to stay here on our last trip. Actually got a discount and it cost as much as a value resort. My biggest concern was how spread out it was. It's nice and quiet, that's for sure. 🌴💖🌴

Loved the tour. The big problem with this resort is if the weather shuts down the skyliner there are no buses ready to take you to your resort. You end up with massive waits at the bus stops which sucks.
It can be quicker to get a bus to another resort, then to another park n then back which is nuts!
I wouldn’t say they’re not ready as this happens a lot especially in summer but I agree it is a process. I stayed at pop century right after the skyliner opened and this was the day where they crashed into each other that night at the turning station and earlier in the day the pop century/aoa line was down so those two hotels had to get a bus to their resort from caribbean beach and it was hell trying to figure out what was going on and such a long process by the time we got back to our hotel cause it was like mob crowds all wanting to get on a bus and go back to their hotel and it took a while for someone to get there too since that definitely wasn’t in their plans. They know by now that weather shuts down the skyliner all the time
@@kaylanicole5126 we waited over an hour for first bus to show to start taking people to resorts. Took another hour for enough buses to show for us to get on one. They knew rain was coming so that was poor.

Hey Tim, thanks for another fabulous vid - I've noticed in this video whenever you said "if you turn to your right or towards your left" the video went the opposite. Not sure if you mentioned it before but I had to rewind to double check. It was when you were go over to Caribbean cay Thanks again.
