NORTHERN ONTARIO AVIATION! Plane Spotting at Timmins Victor M. Power Airport

- Back in the fall, @MarkBrandonAviation and I went back to the city of Timmins in Northern Ontario to better catch Air Creebec's Hawker Siddeley HS 748s in action. We managed to do just that, and more, with some stunning fall backgrounds!
Timmins is home to 41,000 people, and the airport is fairly busy, serving as a hub of sorts for remote communities along the James Bay coast. The airport also has a number of regular passenger flights to Toronto from Air Canada Express and Porter, in addition to medevac traffic.

this is pretty cool to see, i deliver a lot freight ranging from medical, industrial and household items to air cree and the odd freight to Thunder Airlines!
Omg, that's hilarous. 😂 I stayed in Timmins overnight back in '21, never thought this town had an airport, much less one that's so active! Thank you so much for covering Canada's smaller airports in such detail as well! 🙏

I was able to fly on a PC-12 and it is a magnificent plane. Most of the comfort of a Private Jet, but all the capabilities of the DHC6. Stunning visually, and pretty quiet inside! Great video, and I love seeing all of these unique planes.

For a small airport in the middle of Northern Ontario, our airport receives a fair few planes and varying airlines. Mostly turboprop.

I don’t think I’ve seen you fly with scareskin before Alex. I know they are now owned by Perimeter. Maybe I just missed that video but it would be a cool comparison to some of the usual flights.
Awesome vid!! Love seeing the regional operations in Canada! Have to say though... AC's CRJ-200's look beat up. Hope they find a decent replacement for them in the coming years... set to leave in 2025 based on the CPA with Jazz

Off-topic but if you notice how cheap it is to fly Edmonton to Toronto Calgary to Toronto if you want to come from Kelowna BC to Toronto, the price has gone crazy in aug

Those HS-748s don't exactly jump in to the air. That Citation, on the other hand...
Air Canada Express Bombadier Dash-8 Q400's Turboprops and CRJ200's still operating into Timmins from Toronto,Canada which still good however as Alex mentioned in one of his Videos Air Canada will be Replacing there Bombadier Dash-8 Q400's Turboprops & CRJ's Turbofans Planes with the New Hearts Aerospace ES-30 Electric Airplanes so there is a no dates for them as too when there'll make there Introduction but we'll wait to see what happens next again Awesome Video!!!!
