This was really nice. Well put and edited. Thanks for sharing. I'm seeing a lot of DKC videos recently and I love it. I was 13-14 when this came out so I remember vividly when I started reading about it on GamePro and then when I finally got to play it. I didn't own a SNES back then so I had to go to friend's houses or test it on the street! We used to have those SNES cabinets with cartridges inside and we would pay to play the games over time. It was pretty popular back then in my country (Colombia). Anyway, everytime I see a dkc video I insta click because the nostalgia takes over. I still play all 3 regularly on my SNES, been working on some speedrunning lol

I only played the Donkey Kong Country series for the first time when they were released on Switch online, but I had a blast with all three! Such great presentation and tight gameplay.

I don't think people really look down on DKC 1, it's just that DKC2 improved on it so much, it becomes the lesser, but it's still a fantastic game.

Even though this game is my least favorite out of the series, I still think it's very fun and it's has still aged pretty well even to this day
