- We were lucky to be invited to tour the only hotel that is actually located on the Main Market Square in KRAKOW that overlooks St. Mary's Basilica (Mariacki).
The Wentzl Hotel is simply AMAZING. It's unique, it's historic, it's luxurious, it has 18 bedrooms only - each with completely different decoration and character.
There is a stunning restaurant (currently only used for guest's breakfast only).
And it has stunning views of the square and basilica on one side and Wawel Castle on the other.
I'm going to say it: I don't think there is a better location to stay in Krakow. And all the wonderful restaurants, bars, coffee shops and entertainment of Old Town and Main Square literally on your doorstep.
You deserve something magical after the pandemic? This just might be it.

I hope that many Polish people will appreciate more what is in Poland and stop thinking of running away to chase dollars in other countries. Soon they will release that reality is different and no free dollars deposited to bank account. Poland have everything and more than other countries and food is amazing.
Well stated. Many Poles underestimate Poland. We have to improve it like the governments in Poland. Instead of thievs and traitors we need statesmen and true patriots, not only by declaration.

Each room has a fridge, Nesspreso machine plus coffee capsules , tea , fresh Polish apples , milk - all included in the in the price . Rosenthal china mugs and cups.

Lovely hotel, what view from the balcony! Can you imagine staying there during Christmas with snow and decorations in the square...I also like it that all rooms are decorated differently. Thanks for sharing.

We went there tonight what fantastic service. My husband had the ice cream and really 😋 enjoyed it.

The price for room is around $200.00 is my understanding.
You can check prices on their website (where u can pick an actual room) or booking.com. I think I saw dates at 500zl up. I can't really comment on pricing - compared with rates I've been paying all my career around the world the rates are good, but during the pandemic when not many tourists around every business is figuring out what to do I guess

After watching vid AGAIN - Ged and Nina on the balcony - we miss " our" hotel so much, I want to thank Grzegorz again . My idea he put in to action.
He gained permition with the bosses and than arranged the private viewing .
Fellow krakovians , if you are a krakovian - tourist like me, book a room with a view for one night.
From 2 pm till 12 next day....treat your mum or a gran or a best friend to a coffee or a glass of wine on the balcony.
My mum, 5th generation krakowian never seen a view like that before in her own city.
After the good night sleep ....ran quickly after 8am across Rynek to Hawełka.
In Hawełka's lobby their cake shop sells warm drożdżòwki - yeasty pastries with fruit , or poppy seeds ,or sweet cheese filling.
Take away in the box with every flavour....Nespresso coffee brewed in the room in Rosenthal china mugs.
Our breakfast paradise on the balkony.....making the bugler green with envy
Ps. When the time comes to return to UK, our hand luggage is full of drożdzòwkas ....so fresh with no additives they keep for few days 😋🤭
Thanks again for getting us an opportunity to look around the 4th floor and restaurant - was wonderful to do it. Some of the other rooms (from the pics on their website) look wonderful too. I totally feel to go stay a night there😂

Thank you for your vids. I just would recommend you to use microphones. It is a bit hard to hear you when you are not near the camera.
We had a microphone but it gave up during this filming - new one coming from USA hopefully will be an improvement

So if there's any festivals live music etc ....
I use the 'eventland' app and check the newspaper gazeta krakowska - can't see anything yet for next weekend - will let u know if I do
