I'm 15 years old, I run twice or three times a week, I've gotta say it's the perfect way to calm your mind after a long day, and you progress so quickly it's so satisfying ! Everyone should run !
I’m 15 too and may I ask: how did you get into running and how much did u run at first?
What do you mean by progress here?..I want to understand.
@@saurabhtyagi1870 probably that he sees better results/faster time very quick.
I'm 20 and recently I've started running my weight was 98 KG now I'm 67KG
Great! You'll become a great runner if you keep on from starting at such a young age! :D
For those of you who are middle aged or older: don't be afraid to try something like this, the key is establishing a daily habit, not accomplishing some specific run time or distance. I'm 59 years old, and I started running in March of 2020. For the first few days and weeks it consisted of a comically slow shuffle for 10 minutes or so, sometimes 20. I tried to put my vanity to the side (there were always other folks passing me as they ran, sometimes even the fast walkers) and just concentrate on my breath and on extending the length of the run a little bit each day. The hardest part was actually establishing the habit to get up and out of the house each morning, as early as possible. I guarantee that if you can establish the habit your speed and distance will improve automatically. At this point I run 25-30 miles a week, generally. My average mile has gone from 15+ minutes down to around 12-minutes. Compared to others I'm still a pretty slow runner but I don't care. I treasure the hour I get to spend most mornings listening to music and running for an hour in all kinds of weather. It's made a huge difference in my physical and emotional health.
hm days daily for u now? like almost 1000 now?
I am in my 40s and I have started running 15 minutes and walking 10 minutes every other day. About 2 months ago I was struggling to keep up with even 5 minutes of running. I am feeling good about the increase of running time . Going to work towards making it an every day habit and increasing time as I go . I think it is great that you are doing so well can't wait to hopefully get there myself one day.
@@candidawojcik6356 That's fantastic, Candida! Good for you. Personally I think just establishing the habit of getting out of the house several days a week to walk or run is a notable accomplishment, no matter the actual mileage. I hope you enjoy it, and I wish you the best.
I am 43 now, and when I am not traveling, or staying at large congested areas in cities that have heavy traffic pollution and particulate matter (Mumbai, Bengaluru, etc.) where there are virtually very few unobstructed/uninterrupted long distance running paths/roads, I have been regularly clocking 5-7km every alternate day (I know it's not that much) for nearly the past 10 years. There have been ups and downs, and moments of lull, when I am moving cities, houses, working of jobs that are all-round-the-clock schedules, however, I have attempted to keep a regular routine as much as possible. The conclusion. Nothing can substitute a healthy routine that you stick to with discipline and integrity. It builds your mental health, your physical health and makes you into a psychologically strong individual who can take the challenges of life when they present themselves, and come they will.
I love it, I am completely inspired. What a wonderful video and example.
Hello, are you a runner?
I did something similar and at the end of year one I wondered if I should do a year and a day, two years or 500 days, 501 or 1,000 days etc. Then a friend of mine pointed out that asking myself if I would do more was the wrong question. It is taking the default point of view that on an ordinary day I would not run and then, instead, deciding to go for a run. The real question isn't one of why I should carry on until I have completed a pre-determined duration or distance or checking each day if I wanted to carry on but simply asking why I should not run? Then in the absence of a reason why I shouldn't run, my default is to go for a run. It is then no longer a decision I have to make, it is my default setting unless I have some reason to decide otherwise. Coming up to eight years now (should be over twelve but I was knocked off my bike and the nurse wouldn't let me pop out for a "walk") and I still never regret a run and therefore see no reason to stop so I say that people should ensure that they are asking the correct questions of themselves and if there is no reason not to run, keep running.
Thanks for sharing your story and congrats on keeping such a great habit for that long! Really inspiring and I totally agree with your philosophy! 😊
That's beautiful man.
Running too much cause bones wear and tear?
i've run almost everyday for 18 years, and that's pretty much the question: 'why NOT go for a run?' lol
@@lachitu6795 Not that I have noticed and ElisonJackson below has been going for longer and hasn't stopped yet. It isn't something that concerns me, as far as I know activity/moderate impact can help develop bone density (although I'm no orthopaedic doctor).
Well done, Goran on your inspirational achievement! I did a short run this morning after being injured and then getting out of the habit of running! It's amazing how much resistance there can become after getting out of the habit of running regularly!
Thanks Chris and congrats on getting back to running! 😊
The manner in which you "tell the story" is each of your videos is phenomenal! Love your motivation and tips! Thank you! 2022 will be a great year.
Thanks Chad makes me really happy to hear 😀
Congratulations Goran!! This is so inspiring, on many days that I don’t feel like running I watch one of your videos and they keep me going :) and your videos are so well filmed and edited, I love them !!!
Thanks Adriana, that makes me very happy to hear, that's the reason I put so much effort into these videos 😊
Another inspiring video! I needed to hear this today, especially the bit about "just doing something." We've had lots of snow where I live since the beginning of December and running in the winter I'm learning is hard work. Definitely need to have the mindset of just getting out there or I'd be on the couch.
Glad to hear you found it inspiring 😊 yeah it’s not always easy getting out for winter runs but you never regret it, good luck with your training 😊
What an achievement! Thank you as always for showing us how it’s done. You inspired me last year to do the same, however it was unfortunately short lived. I broke my streak in mid February after developing shin splints earlier that month. I over did it. It killed me to have to stop but despite persisting through the pain it only made things worse so it was health over pride. I kept going out after a few days break trying to minimise the length of my rest but in the end two weeks were necessary. Even though I failed my daily goal I still continued with smaller goals and my fitness and times improved drastically! I am still really proud of what I achieved last year but this year I shall try again on the daily run and 1000 miles. Happy New Year, Göran!
Thanks Daria! And thanks for sharing your story, sounds like you did the smart thing, listened to your body and still got in a lot of runs through the year. I wish you a great 2022 and the best of luck with your running!
Thank you for this video! I feel like you've given amateurs like me permission to do more manageable short runs instead of daunting hours-long sessions.
Fuckin right!
Very well done! Some beautiful scenery in the video here. I ran every day in 2021. Already 2 days into running every day in 2022! It’s very addictive.
Thanks and great job you too, let’s make 2022 a great one 😀
Found your channel in 2021, love all your content. Extremely heartfelt, Goran - showing the Scandinavian’s for who they are! Good work on two years! 🥳

Thanks for the inspiration again! Great 3K time, incredible! Great reminder about healing and exercise and blood circulation. Congrats on being a father! My daily runs are often inside, but I owe the daily part to you. Excellent English.
Glad I can inspire 😀 thanks 😊 ok cool to hear congrats on getting into such a great habit!

Thanks Joey 😊
Happy for you & the pay off of your efforts! I'm really in awe of the footage you filmed! Seeing cinematic shots of people running in nature feels so satisfying to watch every time! Everyone deserves to have a form of movement that helps them feel connected with themselves.
Thanks 😊
this is amazing , really requires SO much determination to get out running everyday, especially when you just want to rest as it is so much easier
congrats
Thanks 😊
Thank you, Göran. This video has landed at the exact right time for me. Happy New year!
Glad to hear! Happy new year! 😊
Amazing video with great scenary and positive attitude. Thanks for showing to us.
Tack Göran. Ser fram emot nästa år. Ta väl hand om dig och din familj och god fortsättning på det nya året
Tack detsamma 😊
Congratulations on your accomplishment Goran. Beast!!!
You are an inspiring guy!
In addition to humility, you have a lot of resilience. Your family and professional life are role models. Love your videos. Keep up the good work promoting an healthy living style.
Cheers.
Great vid very inspiring. I'm also loving the camera work. Lots of beautiful shots.
Amazing progress! Looking forward to Year 3!
I got hooked turning the doorknob during covid after never being a runner before, just an athlete. Never really enjoyed going out on runs before, now it's a part of my everyday routine. Started taking it seriously this past October and it's incredible what the body is capable of with consistency & maintenance. Ran my first race/ultra in late December and not looking back! Looking to embark on this every day journey in 2022. Cheers to everyone on their New Years Resolution, and stick with it!
Thanks for sharing your story and congrats on getting into running. I wish you a great 2022!
Thank you! This was such a pleasant video. And the shots of you running along the water and in the hills....so beautiful. Thanks for all the effort you put into making this.
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Very inspirational, proud of your achievement 👏
What a great presentation. Excellent content and delivery. Thank you for your commitment and inspiration.
Absolutely loved this!!!!! Could you do a video on how your times changed from year one to now/ what physiological changes you’ve had etc?
Keep it up!!!!
Great videos Goran! Love to watch them and they give me motivation to keep on running. Keep up the great work and I hope you have a wonderful new year of 2022!
Thanks and I wish you a great 2022 as well! 😊
I’m super inspired by you! I thought that me, finishing my PhD would prevent me to attempting running every day… but you got two baby girls and you did it! Everything is possible!
Thanks a lot again for all these quality video's man! Go out there and chase your dream goals! We love to see them happen, anyway happy new year to you all!
Glad to hear you like my videos 😊 thanks and have a great start to 2022!
Thank you! Started mine September last year and so far so good. Short runs on weekdays at least 4 miles and 10 miles and 13.1 miles on weekends. Slow paced runs but for now it doesn't matter since there are no physical races happening.
Your videoes are always A+!
Lacing up the shoes as I watch this - you and the family have a fantastic, adventurous and healthy 2022!
Thanks have a great run and a great 2022 you too! 😀
You are an inspiration! Thanks for all your videos throughout this year!
Glad to hear you find them inspiring 😊
Im going to start running again, thank you for the inspiration! I think it will help me release anxieties I've been having
Great job!!! Keep it up friend!
I tried doing this for a whole year... but I live in Chicago so I missed some days!!! I feel amazing and I am 22... running really does clear your mind and connects you to nature in another level... especially living a busy city like Chicago... running is my therapy... RUNNN... AND CONGRATULATIONS ON CAPTURING THE SCENERY
Amazing Goran. Very well done.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for inspiring many people like me! I don’t plan to run every day as it is unrealistic for me, but I plan to increase the number of ‘active days’ in 2022.
As you mentioned, it is better to do something than do no physical activity…
Happy New year!
Glad to hear you find it inspiring, ok yeah that sounds great, good luck with that! 😊
Well done Göran, hatten av! This year will probably be my first time ever doing a Marathon, I've never competed at anything longer than 1500m and never run longer than 15km in training. The biggest challenge is that I'm doing this while my main goal is still on the track in sprints and mid distance running.
Tack! Ok cool to hear I wish you the best of luck in your marathon prep and track season 😀
Absolutely incredible video! The editing here is just mind-blowing. It keeps you hooked from start to finish. Exceptional work! 👏
Glad to hear, thanks for watching!
Göran, well done and thank you. Your video from last year inspired me to run every day too, which I have succeeded in doing (bar three days when I was recovering from a bad fall in the mountains). The greatest thing about it is, having been plagued by calf injuries, running everyday actually cured me of them and I’ve been far happier in general as a result. Thank you and happy new year!
Thanks James and big congrats to completing that year, thanks for sharing your story really cool for me to hear about. Good luck with your second year 😁
Gott Nytt År, och tack för inspirationen! :-)
Gott nytt år!
inspiring and just wanna say RUN Göran RUN.
Great year of running with all the ups and downs, overcoming the obstacles and keeping the motivation no matter what. Best wishes for 2022
Thanks Javier, best wishes to you too!
Well done - I agree it helps with mental & physical well being. Next week I'll be coming to 5 years of running everyday & I've never felt better!
Thanks and congrats on 5 years that’s super impressive and inspiring! 😀
Awesome! I just started running in March 2021. The goal was to run 1.5 miles around a local lake, but I quickly became obsessed. In November I ran two official marathons one week apart. First official marathon of 2022 in less than a month. Running changed my life.
Great job!
Cool to hear, thanks for sharing!
That is insane and inspiring.
Why you lying. You sit at your local lake and drink beers and play trash guitar. lol i call bullshit on your running a marathon. The only running you do is to the toilet to spray out your busch beer lol
Congratulations on your baby girls, Göran! Very exciting to be a parent. For me, it has been an excellent way to learn selflessness. All the best in your journey.
Thanks Mike! 😊
I did this a while ago and to start off, yes it really helped my fitness & metal health BUT after a while it started to become a tyranny. I felt like I HAD to run to keep up my running streak going. Luckily I got injured and it gave me a break. Now I run 4/5 times a week and I run because of happiness not because I have to!
been a year and a half now been running almost 8 to 10 k everyday now starting to give bit of break
@@kartikchahda1988 it's become addictive
Goran, you are inspirational. I love your calm and unassuming demeanor. A beautiful example.
Thanks for your nice comment Arnold 😊
Wooww what a inspirational story!
Well done!!!
Love your channel. Your enthusiasm is giving me my running mojo back!
Thanks Emma, glad to hear 😊
dedication is everything, Stay Strong King!
Thank you so much for being such an ispiration! I feel really motivated after watching your videos and now I've decided to implement daily physical activity besides normal training. Lycka till and congratulations for becoming a parent. 😊
Thanks for your nice comment and good luck with your daily physical activity!😊
Wow, this video is such a gem! Thank you for sharing your journey, you are a true inspiration 🤞
Thanks, glad to hear you found inspiration from it 😊
So inspiring and completely empowering!!! :)
I’ve been running every single day for 6 years 1 month and 3 days ( started at 13km every day but since 2020 I’ve been running 15,5km everyday) From the 1st of Mars 2016 to the 3rd of April 2022 ! The 3rd of April I run the paris marathon, so for the first time in 6 years, 1 months and 3 days of running I allow myself 2 days of complete rest !
Running every day completely change my life, I combined it with a whole food plant based diet, never felt healthier/happier.
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences as a runner-Wow, inspiring.
Thanks for watching, glad I could inspire!
Really love this channel, deserves millions of subscribers! Keep it up!
Thanks Matt 😊
Goran you have a great energy and soul. I didn’t know about your twin girls either. Congratulations to a beautiful family! I find running does amazing things for my mind and I believe it makes you that better version of yourself for your wife and daughters. Peace brother!
Thanks for your really nice comment, and thanks for watching 😊
Love ur way/style of making this video. U are amazing, keep going!
Thanks!
You are a true inspiration....brother...keep motivating 🙇♂️✌🏃♂️
Love this video Goran. I am recovering from a car accident that happened in October 2020. I had to have surgery on my broken heel I spent 4 nights in the hospital, and I actually just started walking (not very well) today. I signed up for an ultra marathon April 7th. All I want is to get back to the things I love doing like running. Finding the strength everyday to keep going. Thank you so much for sharing
Thanks Sarah glad you liked it! Ok sorry to hear about the accident, I wish you all the best in your recovery and hope you will be running soon again!
Twins!!!! Congratulations! Nice video! Beautiful quality!
Thanks 😀
Awesome job mate!! So inspiring and am pumped for you to have achieved such a cool ‘win’!
Thanks Nick and happy new year! 😊
Oh wow! Congratulations on the birth of your twins and Happy New Year!
Thanks 😊
Really insightful! And I didn't realise you'd had twins! Congratulations, that's amazing!
Thank you!! 😊
Great job Brother!
You are an inspirational person, Goran! Awesome video as well!
Thanks Arthur!
Thank you for the great positive video. I hope you are still doing well
Thanks for watching 😊
Sorry to hear about your injury but now you are better which is great! I"m on the other end of the exercise scale where I try to keep walks 3 times a week but stopped for a few weeks and will start back up. Also, I started avoiding activities with elevated injury risk, which includes cycling. I don't have a bike right now, and that's another reason for quitting =D A bike is extremely useful in certain situations like riding to work, to the store and such if possible, but walking if practical a practical distance is also good.
That is the most inspiring thing I needed to see. Keep it up with the content!!
Really happy to hear, will do! 😊
Thank you for this video, Göran. You just got a new subscriber. Love from Copenhagen.
Glad you liked it, welcome to the channel! 😀
Inspiring video! I am in the process of daily runs for a month, half way through, good times so far! One question coming to my mind watching this video is "how many of those daily habits can we do until it gets too much?". 20mn running daily seems doable... but I also have 30mn of language learning for the last 10 years, 20mn guitar practice, weekly gym sessions, and now the daily running. I guess I could still squeeze one or two daily habits though, with commitment and time optimization 😊
Great video.. very encouraging....keep running....your house is awesome as well 😄👍🏻
Thanks 😊
Hugely inspirational! Greetings from a Swede in cold Beijing! ❄☀️
Thanks for the quality content . Keep growing keep creating .
Thanks 😊
Congratulations on your achievement. Truly a great effort. I plan to run for 10 minutes every day in January. Partly down to one of your videos on just going out for 10 mins.
Thanks! Ok that’s cool to hear good luck with that! 😊
Good job, I like your video and these are very inspiring of me and other too.
Awesome video. A running friend of mine directed me here because of my current streak, which is now at 409! Keep it up and you have a new fan here in California!
Thanks, welcome to the channel and congrats on 409 days that’s a great achievement! 😁
Thanks for sharing - here goes my own journey of running everyday. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks for watching! Cool, good luck 😀
I've walked every single day consistently for 60 years and I feel pretty good about it. Great video, you seem like a swell guy.
My grandmother walked every day until she was 95. Lived to be 97. Beat breast cancer twice. No other major health issues and maintained a healthy body until the end. One of the happiest people I’ve ever known. I started my *nearly* every day walking habit a few years ago at age 38 and plan on never stopping.
Tak for gode og inspirerende videoer🙏🏃🏼👍
Tack för att du tittar 😊
Bra jobba og veldig inspirerende!
