      There is only one problem !!! Everything in the Old Testament was to prefigure Jesus the Messiah Mary his mother and even Joseph. Jesus supersedes everything in the Old Testament. So unless you learn to love your enemies then you are not in compliance with what Jesus Christ wants but with the Old Law. It's the new law the New Covenant that gets us into heaven King David is not going to get you into heaven unless you learn the way of the cross your future looks bleak

      @@josephcade3541 Here is a Truth for you. Marcion the heretic came up with a terminology Old Testament. When Paul told Timothy that ALL SCRIPTURE is profitable for doctrine, reroof and teachings righteousness in 1AD, guess what?! The gospels and the epistles were not compiled yet. So guess what? Paul was speaking about Torah and Tanakh, you incorrectly call Old Testament and here is a bigger Truth. Messiah Yeshua quite clearly stated in Matthew 7;
      21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you WORKERS OF LAWLESSNESS.’
      So, knowing His name and casting demons in His Name YET practicing LAWlessness will be an automatic denial to Kingdom of God.
      Guess what LAWlessness IS? It’s breaking God’s commandments. What IS breaking God’s commandments? A transgression>Sin.
      1 John 3:4; Sin IS >the transgression of the Law; whoever commits sin is also transgressing The Law.”
      If there was no circumcision of the heart that leads to Trust that leads to Abiding in Heavenly Father’s Word your FAITH IS DEAD 💀
      James 1;
      21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness THE IMPLANTED WORD, >>which is able to save your souls.
      22 But be DOERS of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a DOER, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and CONTINUES IN IT, and is not a forgetful hearer but a DOER of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
      James 2;
      18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD?

The best answer I have come to is to pray for him, for his good, for his heart...all from a distance. I haven't encountered religious narcissists at church but I have some at work, evil people who will twist scriptures to suit their agenda. Best not to say anything when they are doing that- they believe everything they say is right- they just are trying to start an argument- to test you- don't fall for it. The best defense is a good offense so with narcissists you have to put your self up front, ahead of any thing they ever say or do and never accept their lies. Assume every one you meet is a Narcissist and then modify your assessment of them as they present their personality to you. The problem with Narcs is, they are ridiculously full of themselves, very arrogant, egocentric, quick to interrupt you, quick to talk over you, love the spot light, quick to speak and walk into a room mouth first......Many times the Narc's arrogant mouth gets them in trouble with others for Narc's wrongful assumptions, but then the Narc lacks the ability to back peddle, admit wrongfully speaking, can't self reflect and confess they were "wrong" for being so quick to speak about someone who isn't present, which basically was nothing more than the Narc gossiping. In the Narc's sick & twisted mind, it wasn't that big a deal.
      Problem is Narcs can dish it out, but they can NOT take it in and they are very PROUD and will never admit wrong doing, because their pride makes them blind to their own arrogance. If you point this out to them, they become extremely offended, feel threatened and immediately view you as the enemy and themselves as the victim, while they scheme up a plot/plan to turn others in town against you so as to preserve their own pride/ego keeping others to remain beholding to the Narc so the Narc can remain top of the heap and you as the diseased child that is unstable & needs help.

    Good job! I'm going to spend some time tomorrow looking for more verses. As a devout Christian it horrified me, once my ex was totally exposed, to realize that he had no problem with taking communion after the pastor explaining each and every time the profound danger of taking communion when your heart is not right and you are pursuing sin. But nothing was sacred to him. Nothing.

    Great job Jill, right on target. There are many Bible references concerning narcissism. James (chpt. 3 i believe) talks about envy and selfish ambition (which of course also describes narcissism). This wisdom comes from beneath (debase, of the lowest nature) is earthly, sensual, demonic. Jezebel and Ahab were also examples of covert and overt narcissism. Jezebel being the over aggressive brazen vindictive evil one, Ahab being the weak, bellyaching, selfish victim and coward, working in conjunction with each other for the sheer purpose of evil and selfish gain at any cost including the lives of innocent people. Many verses in the Psalms (35 for one off the top of my head) and Proverbs also. The tares among the wheat are also the planting of the devil's agents among the good. New testament also tells us in the last days evil men and seducers will become worse and worse, and we are witnessing just that.

We are HONEST ( the “naive”) and that is a virtue and honorable way to be - it is the WiCKED ( the sinners!!) who sold their soul and exploit our kindness and “naïveté “ - our honesty. That behavior is truly the mark of the ...dark side!... We should learn our lesson - but never lose that kind loving heart ♥️ as it is a source of true power of Our Lord Jesus Christ 🙏♥️💪 and that is what the Narcissit fears most. Jill. What you are saying is so accurate! I just found out my own children are saying I drink alcohol and get drunk. Both of my children are alcoholic as was their father who has died. My siblings, biological father and many other relatives were alcoholic. A judge told me to have nothing to do with my son ever again when he was 19. I went to court to act on his behalf. The judge had the clerk spend a couple of hours with me to convince me that I did not know my son and that he had been playing me for years. I insisted I knew my son because they gave me no information proving that I did not. I described my son to the clerk and she said ¨that is who you are, not who he is.¨ My son was placed in my care. I stated I would see that he fulfilled the requirements of the court. The judge said he would hold me personally responsible for any crime he committed. Then said, do you still want to take him home? I said an emphatic yes! The man who ran the classes my son attended after court informed me that he felt connected to me right away, but had no idea who my son was. He asked my son who bought him his shoes, packed his lunch, drove him there, picked him up, bought his shirt, etc. My son said I did. I was right there. This man also thought I did not know my son. I went to a therapist about this who happened to know my son. She said your description of your son is really a description of you. Your son is nothing like you. I do not have any idea how much more my son, daughter and an alcoholic I dated twice can smear me. I do not drink, take drugs, and the only medication I have ever been on is Albuterol on bad air days. How could I be so dumb and loyal and not know my own children? My daughterś in-laws tried to tell me I did not know her and I did not know what they were talking about. They were always really nice to me. The brother-in-law had a lot of therapy and could see what was going on. I just loved my kids and was in denial as to who they were. It says in the Bible not to trust people, but to put your faith in the Lord. Jesus is in my life and I will get through the full realization of all of this eventually.
