I really feel that Brady's threats to come out of retirement are meant to light a fire under the owners to approve his ownership of the team. He's going to make more money on TV this year than he did playing. Having said that, if he IS coming back, let's just get it done, and stop talking about it. Some have said he would come in mid-season, but that doesn't sound right. He is huge on preparation, so I don't see him coming in cold November 1st and being in sync with the system, his teammates, etc.
Raiders not drafting a QB started way before draft night. The fact they had the offseason to address the qb room and did not is a fail on the regime to include Mark Davis. Other teams put themselves in position to draft a QB and Raiders sat on their hands waiting for one to fall in their laps. Raiders tried to move up for only 1 QB that was out of reach and then had no backup plan. Raiders will be average at best and be stuck in the same position next years draft with a GM that doesn’t move up.
