You CAN use the coordinating die for the reverse! Cut it first, then put it back into the hole in the cardstock (upside down) and do your reverse stamping the way you did it. It works! I think I did a video, but can't think which one right now! LOL! Super cute card!
Yes I have done it before, and I've seen Jennifer McGuire do it too, I just thought it would be easier to fussy cut it out lol. But I will check out your video for sure Thanks Ardyth, you are amazing!
wow - how ? not sure I've seen that done - keep healthy
Love the baby card. I miss having a baby around. My youngest grandbaby is almost 4. Love the birds singing in the background too. Thank you Therese.
So glad you like this one Cheryl, I had a real fun time putting it together!
Love that yellow breaking out behind the letters. 💛
Yes, that was a big decision that one lol. But I like it too.
So sweet Therese. Something about baby news that makes me so excited. What a joy!
Thank you for sharing.
T x
Yes, it's exciting times for Emily, apparently she already has twins, eeeekk lol.
Oh my! This card is the sweetest. Such a GREAT idea!!!!
Thanks so much Karen!
Oh this card is adorable and so clever too.
Tfs & take care 🌹🙇♀️🇦🇺🤗💖
I had such fun making this one, these circus animals are too cute!
Cute card 😍 my cats always want attention when I'm at my crafting table. Nice to see your kitty.
They are so wonderful and any attention is good right? lol.
Such a beautiful twin baby card ad such a great idea.
Loved the colours.
Cheers
Lisa
Can you believe she already has twins...... eeeek!
So cute. You really make reverse stag look easy. Okay, I’ll try it again. Love this card.
You can do it Stefanie, I have faith in you!!
This card is totally adorable and so perfect for twins!!! I love every single detail!
Thanks so very much Lisa, I really did have fun making this one!
Really great card, Therese, and I love your sweet kitty!! ❤️
Thanks so very much Carol!
Really enjoyed your video Therese. I haven’t tried reverse stamping on the Misti yet, but I will now. Love the elephants they are my personal favourite for baby cards. Lily is lovely. I know all about shy cats. My little Minnie magically disappears at the sound of a stranger’s voice or the ring of the doorbell. She’s a little sweetie too. Congratulations to Emily from the UK. Good health to everyone, take care.
Your Minnie and my Lili would love to meet... perhaps under the bed at the sound of a stranger's voice lol. Thanks so much Dee, I do recommend the MISTI for reverse stamping, it's the easiest way that I've done it ever!
Fabulous idea with that admit ticket, and such a cute card!!!
It was one of those thoughts that just came to me and I 'had to ' do it lol. Thanks so much Ingrid!
This is so sweet! I love the creativity she put into making this card! I want to get back into my artsy side. I used to draw a lot when I was a child, but I lost it somewhere along the way. I want to pick it back up again.
Thank you so much!
oh my gosh, such a cute baby card, Therese!! So clever how you used the ticket - I would never think to do that! I love your tutorials - while also hearing the lovely birdsong in the background & seeing your cute kitties. I have 3 cats - none of whom show any interest in my crafting! Take care.......
I have 2 cats and they show interest usually only in themselves. It's nice to have them here to cuddle at the moment, even if it's only for the few minutes that they allow lol.
Therese! I love this! Such a clever way to do a twins card! I hope you're well and your cat blessing your video, she's beautiful (i love black cats, well all cats really lol)
Me too, I love all cats, my sister has been sending me videos of her new kitten playing with her other cat... it's hilarious and a much needed laugh at this point in time. Stay safe my friend x
Love this! Haven't done reverse in quite some time and never with the MISTI. Cute card!
It's the best way I've done it, thank you to Jennifer McGuire yet again!
An adorable card for twins or any baby. Your elephants on gender neutral colours are perfect. Baby cards are fun. I will be making at least one this spring when my dear grandson and his sweet wife have their first child, my first great grandchild. How exciting and wonderful is that? 💖🇨🇦🥳🥳
That's awesome news, 'great' Grandmother, you must be thrilled!
Such a sweet baby card,Love the crossed out one and reverse stamping... wow who knew (gonna have to try that) TFS.:)
It's the best way that I have found to reverse stamp, thank you Jennifer McGuire (again)!
what a cute card. You can also diecut the reverse stamped image by taping the die to the back of the paper when holding it against a light box or window
It all felt too hard at the time, I have done it before but I don't mind fussy cutting.... only if it's an easy image like this lol. But yes you are right, thank you so much Eveline. Stay safe and healthy, Hugs Tx
Adorable and thanks for the tips on reverse stamping. I always have to go back and refresh my memory on this technique. Love the color choices for this card.
It's one of my fave colour combos for babies if I don't know the gender but apparently it's twin boys!
Love that little card. Twins! How cute and no thank you. lol
It's her second set of twins apparently .......
@@lostinpaper I baby sat twins once when I was a teenager. 6 month old cuties who flat wore me out.
@@TheAjjupiter Imagine 2 sets... because that is what Emily has now, the boys were born a couple of days ago and all is well!
@@lostinpaper Aww, they're so sweet, when they're someone else's. lol
Great baby card. Love that reverse stamping and gonna give it a try! Tfs
Thanks so much Tiffany, hope you have fun with this technique!
Your card is perfect and I love Miss Lily, she's beautiful.
She is not so happy this morning, she had to have her medicine lol. It'll all be fine again by treat time at lunch time though lol.
@@lostinpaper Awwww I hope she feels better soon. Nothing serious, I hope.
@@stanky6261973 No just her usual flea/tick medicine, but she still doesn't like it lol.
@@lostinpaper Oh, I'm so glad that it's not something serious.
What a super cute card--she will love it!
I hope so, it's on the way now!
So adorable! Thanks for the reverse image tips.
Thanks so very much Di, so glad you like this one!
Most reverse stamping I have seen is not as rich black as the original, but this is equal. It looks great. Thanks for highlighting this technique. I watched Jennifer too to see it in action. This is an OMG moment for me. THANKS😀
I know right! I think it's because you can 'keep stamping' it allows to get the black black! I also watched Waffle Flowers new intro video for the Mini Media mat and they fit it inside the Misti to use it for reverse images.... but I suppose you could easily use any piece of silicon instead and cut it to fit (though I would probably stick it to a laminated sheet so I knew it would be perfectly placed in the MISTI each time.... maybe this is something I should try? Thanks so much for your lovely visit here today, you have got me thinking and that can be dangerous lol Christine!
What a super adorable card!
Thank you so much Teri!
Super sweet card. Your cat is gorgeous tfs
She is totally sweet!
Such a cute card! Well done! ❤️☺️🐘🐘
Thank you Maria!
How fun and clever. Love your videos and fun approach to card making
Why thank you Laurie.... can you please tell CZcams that for me lol.
Super cute card, Therese...perfect for twins :)
Thanks so much for the tutorial on this technique...I just bought the MFT mirror stamp and I can't wait to try it! Hope you and hubby are staying safe and healthy!
I've been thinking about getting something like that... maybe the investment will be worthwhile... let me know after you use it (I need to be encouraged to spend money lol)
Very very clever! Both in technique and design.
Thank you Carol, so glad you visited today!
Cute card indeed. For a minute there......I thought you were having twins.....phew!!!! Lol xxx
Phew indeed lol! I'm waaaay too old for that haha!
I LOVE this video and the card is adorable! Thank you
Thank you so very much Margarita!
what a cute card hun.I agree elephants are just perfect for a baby card. Just look at a new born elephant they too are gorgeous lol. Anyway my darling you made another winner. Your cutting out skills are better then mine ( it depends how I feel at the time ) lol. Hope you are keeping well . It’s very challenging at the moment wherever you live. Thank you for sharing and please keep bringing us some great ideas. Till next time happy crafting. Big hug xoxo💖
Oh yes, please stay safe Patti, this is a tough world right now. And yes, baby elephants rock! thanks so much for everything, Hugs Therese x
Gorgeous card, my twin boys are now 20. You do survive. We currently have 5 cats residing with us, but my hand raised kitten who is now 5 is a bit of a bully at times with our other cats, but he has such character.
ooh 5 cats, that's sounds exciting lol. My 2 rescue cats are quite stressy at times but I wouldn't give them up for the world lol. Did you know that this is Emily's 2nd set of twins ...... eeek!
@@lostinpaper Wow hope she has some good help close by. I was told that could happen to me too but I ended up with a single pregnancy, which was a relief. Everyone in my family calls Sammy our 3 dog as he usually is hanging out with them and cleaning them etc, I think it has to do with our older dog Henry helping out with Sammy when he was a kitten, they were so cute together. I found Sammy when he was about 3 days old. Luckily I found a Vet that gave me some great advice.
Adorable card!
Thanks for sharing...
Thank you Jeanne!
Adorable!!! You are absolutely SO clever! I love this darling little card and the love and heartfelt creativity you put into it! 🐘💕💙💕💙 🐘 So will Emily! 🤗💞🤗
Great video! Emily M will totally love it! Twins! Yeah! Thanks for the tip on how to do the kiss stamping!
Thanks so much Liz, did you know that she already has twins??
@@lostinpaper so she will have two sets of twins! My goodness! How unusual and amazing! Twins run on my husband's side but it skipped us. Glad and sad that it worked out that way! Because it would have been harder then, but now he (our son would have a mate to play with!) How is the COVID affecting you and your nursing position? Are you at risk or in a field of nursing that is safer? If there is such a thing. Be safe! Hugs!
@@lizford2498 Hi Liz, I work in ED so things are a bit weird at the moment, it's like the calm before the storm. we are feeling lucky that we have had this time to prep and Australia's response has been amazing so far. It's definitely a risk, but to have a job to go to right now feels like a good thing when so many have not. We are hunkering down for what will probably be a long hard Winter. Please stay safe too! Thanks so much for your kind words, Crafty hugs, Therese
Oh my this is perfection!!!
Why thank you Amybeth!
So cute and a brilliant tip!
Thanks so much JoAnn!
What a SWEET card!!! LOVE the colors used, and thank you for the tip on reverse stamping!!!
Thank you so very much Donna! I love these sweet elephants and I'm so glad you do too!
Aaaaw so, so cute!! Such a shame I don't know anyone having a baby at the moment. This is just a few months too late. Drats!!! LOL
you never know.... still might be tempted to buy the stamps when this craziness is over. Stay well and keep safe Therese 😊
It would also make a great card for a 2 year old, so in about 18 months maybe? lol.
Absolutely brilliant!!!! 😊
Aw, shucks Thank You Audrey!
Hi from Australia Lily - Hugo The Black Cat (your brother from another mother) and my Mum Lisa from Australia. GREAT BLOG Therese!
hahahaha Lili says a big Hi to you too Hugo! Thanks to your Mum Lisa!
Adorable baby card. Twins, wow, sounds like a LOT of work, but very rewarding, TWO ( instead of too!) Your black kitty is beautiful. People say "its a dogs life"...I disagree, kitties have it made. They don't do tricks, fetch a stick or any of those things puppies do. And all of us that have cats know, its their world, we're just living in it! LOVE Ardyth Percy-Robb's suggestion about using the die for the reverse stamp, BRILLIANT!! I have to try this. I hope you and your family are doing well in this very unstable Covid-19 epidemic. I hope to put my "stay at home" time to good use making cards to send to all my friends & loved ones. Be well & stay safe.
Yay Lynn! So happy you like my card and my kitty, Yes I agree it's a cat's life for sure lol. Did you know that this is Emily's 2nd set of twins..... seriously! I am well, but I work in ED so not much staying at home for me.... crossed fingers things are better than they look like they may be. Please keep crafting, we all 'need' it right not, Big Hugs Therese x
I just adore your 'thought' behind your card designs, Therese...its gotta be that Aussie humour LOL! This card just rocks, IMHO! Thanks Therese, and stay safe!
Thank you so much Nancy, I do hope Emily likes it too, it's on the way over to her now!
So now the Australian Government knows not to let you in on anything top secret. LOL!!! Great card and I love the swirl color green.
Oh yes, I'm not the best secret keeper lol. Do you have any you want to tell me??
Great card,thanks
Thank you hon x
It is JUST THE TICKET, Therese!!! Perfect in every way!!! xx
Well, thank you my friend x
Terrific card, Therese - such a clever design. There is a way to use your die for the reversed image - I think Jennifer Maguire did a video, too (not that you need it, your fussy cutting was perfect).
Yay, thanks for that Janet, I have seen it but don't like the 'look' of the back of a die cut.... but will definitely think about it for a more intricate design!
Sweet card,
Thanks so very muuuuchhhhh!
What a sweet card and a FABULOUS tip on reverse stamping. I’m going to give it a try.
Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks so much Cathleen, so glad that you like this design, I had a blast creating it!
So clever to cross off the "one". Loved this happy card!
Thanks so much Deb, it's was an aha moment... they don't happen very often lol.
Cute card. Our cat, Jinx, is not allowed in the craft room. She's the first cat we've had that HAS to knock everything off of a table!!!!
ooh, I've met that kind of cat before lol.
That's so cool. Love it. I see you had a link to Jennifer McGuier, she did the reverse die cutting. I tried to do it the other day, but couldn't figure it out! I have to go back and check.
She has done it and I think Ardyth (from Maskerade) has too! Hope that helps, good luck and have some fun!
Too cute!!!
Thanks so much Renee!
Great technique. I have a Tim Holtz stamping platform and I will see if it works using that. I hope so as I have not had a lot of luck mirror stamping. 🤞
This has been my fave way to do it since I saw Jennifer McGuire's video!
An adorable happy card to celebrate such a special event! Perfect Therese! Congratulations to Emily from Australia xx
Yay! Sending happy wishes across the ocean.... Thanks so much Maree!
Awesome
Thanks so very much Wendy!
so adorable & cute :-)
Yhsnask..... translated to Thank you with my fingers on the right keys lol.
The perfect card for a twin.My brother is 10 month younger than I am.When we weten children many people thought we were twins. We never told we were not, because many people were charmed by the idear. This way we receive quiet some candy. Now I am 61 and he is 60 years old .And we van still laugh about it..We still call ourselves the fake twin.
It's nice that you and he were that close and still are, 'fake twins' is such fun! Stay safe, thanks for your lovely visit here again today!
P.S. Oh yes, hello Lily! 🐈 (imagine her black)! 🧡
I'm imaginging..... imagining... is that better lol.
great video but really loved your cat interruption
She is a cutie and a real attention seeker lol.
@@lostinpaper so glad its not just my cats that like to randomly interfere with card making -lol - keep safe and virus free
