- Denver Fire Department & Denver Health Ambulances responding to various calls throughout Denver in August 2018. You can see a wide variety of fire apparatus, including Engines, Trucks, Towers, Rescue 1, Ambulances and also spare apparatus such as Tower 22 or Engine 27. Some of the videos have already been published - this is a "best of" of my recordings. This is the last video from the city and county of Denver for now! Hopefully I will make it to this city again in the future - it is one of my absolute favorites for filming emergency vehicles!

Twin Omega 90s!
I've all ways wonderd this how come in different city or states the fire trucks are different colors instead of the normal red color
Traditions. If you see an unusual color scheme that isn't yellow, it was probably selected a long time ago
I've never heard the "official" story, but from what I have heard, White was chosen for visibility as black was by a very large margin the most popular color for automobiles at the time. The gold stripes reflect the gold pinstriping seen on early trucks
@@hvymtal8566 also is a slightly, idk, biblical thing? Essentially white and gold are associated with angels, so it's saying that inside are angels of sorts (which totes fits how FFs are, they'll run into a literal nuclear fire if it means saving a life)
The American flag looks great
Why some this firetrucks and ambulances have blue red light and only red light in other stations?
Thank you! This was filmed with a Sony FDR-AX 53.
It just all depends on the department itself a lot of departments have where they have blue and red and then just red again it just depends on the agency and the state laws
All I can say for Truck 8’s horns is ouch.
