You’ll need the spring compressors for the fronts. The larger automobile style spring compressors from Harbor Freight work better than the Tusks. The spring upgrades was a night and day difference upgrade over stock. The stock tenders and main springs are factory junk.
Giving the fronts a go today, hoping I don't need larger spring compressors, we'll see. Video should be up tomorrow. Can't wait, I imagine the ride will be so buttery compared to stock.
You were so, so right.. long day today haha
The Off Road Adventure Channel
I feel ya man lol. Those fronts aren’t near as fun as the rears. The silver lining is when you get it in the dirt. Then you’re gonna be stoked to rip it all apart and revalve when you realize if springs made that big of a difference imagine what another stage can do. It’s a can of worms and a sickness there’s no cure for. Looking forward to seeing the vid. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Great video
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Lol, “God Bless America”! My favorite part!
I also thought that was pretty funny.
You are going to love it
Can't wait man
Looking good.... lots of peeps get intimidated by shocks but the pros these days are sure making it alot easier. Cant wait for first ride vid
Yeah, for some reason it just seems like a big job. Honestly I spent more time filming then working on the shocks. We'll see how the fronts go today.
Yes sir... dang filming and especially the editing takes forever. Trying to tell a story , keep it interesting and wondering if its any good..... why we opt for the headache , sometimes i wonder.....
Rig looks awesome man!!! Great vid!!
Thanks, can't wait to see her all done up!
Went a whole lot smoother compared to the fronts. Great video bud!
Seriously!
What do you use to clean your rzr
A ton of elbow grease.. haha no chemicals no soap. I'll have to explain in the next video.
Good video! Question, I've got the same unit and was thinking of going from 30" paddles to 32". What's your thought?
I love the 32's. Wouldn't go any smaller now. Re clutch when you do, you'll love it.
Great video! Have you had your shocks rebuilt or fluid changed yet? I’ve got 1300 miles on mine in one season and wonder how long they can go before fluid is broken down?
Another good video! Is that reservoir mounting location factory?
Yeah, mounted in the same location as the stock cage. I think the current RZR's don't have reservoirs up top anymore though? Are they all piggy back style now? Thanks Josh!
@@TheOffRoadAdventureChannel I am not sure. I was just thinking that the extra fluid capacity from having them remote would help keep temps down. My Mav is mounted on the shock but doing a remote reservoir might not be a bad idea...I have officially started building mine if you want to follow along. www.maverickforums.net/threads/blitzins-2016-max-build.121834/#post-1603314
Which shock therapy kit did you go with?
When you go with the Shock Therapy dual rate spring kit, there aren't stages to choose from. They ask you a laundry list of questions regarding your vehicle and its aftermarket add on's. They set you up with the right springs once they've reviewed your build.
