GDR 040 - DISASTER K.F.W. "Fallen Crosses" (2024)

Die Weimarer Band DISASTER K.F.W. war schon immer tief in der Untergrund-Szene
verwurzelt und so erscheint es eigentlich nur logisch, daß ihr neues Album
“Fallen Crosses“ bei G.D.R. veröffentlicht wird, oder? Doch die Wahrheit ist,
daß man sich auf einem Konzert getroffen hat und dort die Zusammenarbeit
angebahnt wurde. Die Übereinstimmungen bei der Einstellung zur Musik waren groß
und so erscheint das neue Album der Thüringer bei German Democratic Recordings.
Geboten wird kompromißloser Old School-Death Metal und bei vier Songs hat der
langjährige Freund Dr. Pest (Ex-DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER) als Gast mitgewirkt.

The Weimar band DISASTER K.F.W. has always been deeply rooted in the underground
scene and so it seems only logical that their new album “Fallen Crosses” will be
released by G.D.R., right? But the truth is that they met at a concert and the
collaboration was initiated there. There were great similarities in their
attitude to music and so new album of the Thuringians is released on German
Democratic Recordings. On this album you can hear uncompromising old school
death metal and at four songs participate the long-time friend Dr. Pest (ex-DIE
APOKALYPTISCHE REITER).
